Just checked that my code worked...and it did!
Super stoked...the Kirby bubbles look great on my Ms. Marvel/Warbird/Binary tribute costumes, and I'm not even on my good computer at home.

LOL, yah it might take them a bit, it got retweeted 295 times and that's 295 PMs that have to be sent out.
I managed to retweet in time, now I am just awaiting the code. It's going to take a very long time for them to type out 295 private tweets.. heh

I actually dusted off my never-used Twitter account to try for one this afternoon... Which I'll probably give to FlyingCodeMonkey, if I was quick enough to get in on it. (I like auras, but when we can only have one code? Yeah... His account gets dibs. Mine can wait.)
My opinion of Twitter itself is unchanged. I still think it's a silly waste of time... But at least our devs were kind enough to make their distribution plan much fairer for the dots.

Got a code, PM'd Zwill here to swap it for one I can use (EU player, the codes on twitter are US, so as per instructions on Twitter, PM'd Z) and now waiting patiently for one that'll work for me
Mainly posting this as a reminder to any EU players who got a code to PM Z or Hit Streak on here in order to get the aura working on their account.

Zwillinger reported that it took him and Hit Streak all day Friday to hand out the codes from the two times they offered them (the first time was 10 minutes, the second was 5 minutes; both times with plenty of heads-up at the same URL as the promotion), plus the time on Monday the spent handing out the rest of the codes because they reached their PM limit on Friday. It was good of them to put in so much more work to help a greater number of players participate. Being so labor-intensive, I'm not sure if they'll continue the private message practice or try something else this Thursday.
I'm... not pleased.
I retweeted as requested the second time they did it Friday afternoon, within a minute or two of the tweet going up. Well before the five minute deadline...
I have them followed...
Direct messages are enabled on my account...
... And yet somehow I still managed not to get a code from them. <_<

Is your account on Twitter, by chance, Protected, Bright? Mine was at first and so they never saw my re-tweet. I changed the setting and got it in the next round.
