Moon base...lunar landscape with the Earth rising and setting in the distance...or just spinning in the distance...been a long day already

I don't think it's the moon - they use the world "world" in the description, which makes it sound like a non-Primal Earth location.

We view City of Heroes is as a storytelling medium.
Then why have you been hitting such storytelling lows?

We know that there are players who are looking for alternative ways to experience the Incarnate System, especially options that are more accessible to solo players and small groups. We are looking into this for a future issue, and we want it to be added in a meaningful way that augments the epic Incarnate storyline and still remains accessible to our more casual players. Group-oriented play remains an important part of the CoH experience but we understand that not everyone likes to play in a group, and we will endeavor to take this into consideration in future development decisions.
mmm hmmm. Sounds like marketingspeak and - I hesitate to say "smoke and mirrors," since THAT at least led to a good arc.

We'll see.

Good point...how about something funky then?

While I'm not betting on a space zone of any kind, all it says is that it ties into the storyline of the "world". That could easily mean anything - Primal Earth, Praetoria, or both.

I think they'd use the word "game" in that case - because the game is several worlds, not just one.

While I'm sure it ties into the ongoing story somehow, and will in all likelyhood be a co-op zone... I am secretly hoping the zone is "Boomtown is being invaded by giant radioactive ants with laser eyes! Use the [Buick] power to defeat them!"

Because that'd just make my day. About 50 of my days. Consecutively.

I'm excited for a new zone but I don't have any aspirations of the zone being anything other than another cityscape.

There was mention of "incarnate story arcs" being developed currrently, so perhaps there is a light at the end of the tunnel for the solo folks.

Am hoping it will be Atlantis, it's been mentioned here and there in game.

Too many 50's to list here's a few you may know.
Slazenger, Area51, Area53, Area54, Erruption, Mind Plague, Thresher, Sheath, Broadside, Debt

There was also talk of further work on PVP after I13, of continuing Devs Choice awards to free up slots, of "taking base concerns seriously" and the like.

It's going to be co-op if it's one zone - and co-op content has a traditional starting level of 35, going by the RWZ and Cimerora - which would tie in with the recent new 20-30 content on Primal Earth.

To be fair, if it acted as an alternative to the current terrible "Oh, congrats on level 20, now get out." arcs in Praetoria, I would be very, very happy. My Praetorians will not abandon their home, for better or for worse.

New zone? I'm smelling more co-op. Whee.

Still, while I don't care about participating in the Incarnate system in any way, after the last couple of issues I'll gladly take any new content that doesn't require me to line up half a dozen people or more to even attempt it.

I think there is a very good chance that this "new" zone could actually be a revamp that links Primal to Praetoria in yet another way and may tie Ouro into the whole thing... here's hoping it is a time/dimension fractured version of Boomtown! Oh, and I am 100% sure it will be Co-Op.

Interesting concept to have a new zone added. However, I feel they should fix the bugs present now before pusing out another bug filled issue...they should really focus on that instead of so much new content that they cant keep up with the problems the community are experiencing!

Yay...more new shinies that do nothing to REVAMP the old junk sat about.

Dark Astoria. Boomtown. Perez Park. Crey's Folly. Terra Volta. I know I'm not the only one sick of them being sat there with sod all in them.

Yeah, I pretty much figured that.

Still, it would be nice to have parallel arcs with a Rogue and Vigilante bent. For one, there aren't any real vigilante arcs in the game, although a few from Crimson and Indigo skirt very close to the line, and two, it would be easier to contrive these factions staying out of each other's way than with parallel hero and villain content.

And the official statement from War Witch was what, paraphrased? "We don't want to go back and redo old stuff, we want to keep giving you new!"

Yeah. Wrong lessons learned from remaking Faultline, and a really crap attitude to have about it.

Fair enough, but the development team seems to be pretty enamoured with the incarnate system right now and I think it is likely we will see more ways for more people to play along. I would think they would want to show off their new shiny system to as many players as possible.

... and again, they were pretty enamoured with AE, pretty gung ho about their PVP changes...

There's a reason for the *very* deep cynicism and distrust (among other things) here.

Yeah...i mean it's not like they've *ever* delivered on things they said they were going to do, or taken suggestions from the players and put them into the game, or in one case delivered on something they claimed would require almost a complete shutdown of any other work... The cynicism and distrust are *completely* justified. Not only justified, should be thrown in the devs faces on the day of the friggin anniversary, no less. Sometimes people sicken me.
