The worst thing about these badges is that the longer you wait, the more difficult its going to be to get. Every few days, another group of people get one, dropping the number of people who need (and usually have the desire to work toward) that particular badge drops by as many as 16. And when the new trials come out, it'll be even harder.

I still find it strange that you confuse repetition-reinforced pattern recognition with elitism. I don't expect those that are new to these trials to know where the things are, but, after 20 or so attempts (probably low by a factor of at least 5 per side for me by now) I've just happened to memorize where these static spawns are, and generally know which ones get skipped over on the "average" team's routes. I'm far from elite in these skills, since I still make wrong turns inside Aeon's lab in the STF, but I do tend to think that I have at least the learning skills of the average laboratory mouse running through a set maze.

For my main (Kinetics/Rad. Def.) he has the t4 Seer Boss and Lt. attacking mobs. The Lt. buff pet (that can't be killed by other mobs) is nice and all but...fortitude doesn't really benefit me that much in these trials. Plus it's only for 5 mins...maybe if the pets stayed out for 10 mins. and/or the recharge was 10 mins. I'd pick the t4 boss and buff lt. but....I figured getting 2 pets that attack is best.

Your mileage may vary though.

ie get 10 acids on a run get the 10 more use the 10 'extra' ones and then kill marauder without nades (or vice versa...)

Doesn't work like that. Temps from a previous Lambda run become greyed out and unusable on the next run.

The real-time limit on those temp powers is such that they can't be used during the next run.

Thanks Ion. I'm going for the Boss and Lt. attacking mob version and just need the salvage to get there. But with all these failed MoLambda attempts I haven't been getting salvage drops.

Last night was #6 failed for me. The last two teams I've been apart of have gone so far as to use the Ultimate Inspirations during the Maurader fight to get extra damage, as well as do the double pet cast as Beef mentioned above. Results using those were varied so I'm not sure they helped at all. And this is all just for one of the badges, not for the three of them. I don't like these.

I would suggest at a certain point just using the pacification grenades so that you can at least complete the trial and get a reward. Usually I use the grenades with like 2-5 mins left (he goes down so much faster when he's pacified heh). So if you know you're not going to make it with 2-5 mins left, grenade him

That's what we've been doing, however the fight 2 nights ago (I believe flipside was on my league) it looked like we were going to get it. He had literally 2 points left when our time ran out. It was ridiculous too, because I think we did less damage in the last 2 minutes than the rest of the fight, save for his unstop. Dang shame it was.

That certainly sounds familiar to me. I can't tell you how many Master runs we did where he'd hit Unstoppable for the 2nd time in the last couple of minutes, literally hovering at 4% until the trial failure. Very frustrating when that happens.

Ah okay, sorry I read that as you weren't using the grenades even when you knew it wasn't going to go well, my bad!


And yeah, I've been on a run or two where we thought we had Marauder down (even had at 0/100 I think once) and didn't complete it.

I guess we need to step it up once he's dropped unstop next time, take him down before he can hit it again. These are just crappy badge requirements.

Yup, I was in that run. I ran off and cried in a corner the rest of the night on that one. At 2 minutes left and 2% to go, I was like "hot damn, finally". Then at 1 minute and still 2% left I said "waitaminute...". It also was not helped by the fact that the 15 minute pet recharge took nearly 19 minutes to recharge during that run. I'm not sure what happened there.

This is hilarious. As of less than a month ago I got the Master of Lambda badge.

Only, in order for me to get it, my team had to do it three times, as the badge wasn't awarding properly (LIKE IT IS NOW)

1. PURPOSELY fail the Molecular Acid part for Well Stocked badge, using neither the Acids or Grenades.
2. PURPOSELY fail the Grenades part for the Antacid badge, using neither Grenades nor Acid.
3. COLLECT 10 of each, USE NONE for the other lame badge..

So, if you think you did anything special or particularly hard there, trying doing it three times over.

Either way, grats.

Yep, that's annoying. Had a failed run where the team leader was watching his hit points and he was below 100 when the timer ran out.

um.... what you just described is how it's working right now and 'working as intended'. It's SUPPOSED to take 3 runs to get it.

When it WAS bugged, you could get all 3 badges in a single run.

I've noticed this as well; is it 'power lag' where the server is taking longer to recharge the power than it should normally take? I don't think it's that because all my other powers recharge just fine during the Lambda trial but...*shrugs*

im sooo glad i got the mo lambda badge before they fixed it, the requirements for the badges now are just completely retarded and absolutely need to be changed

i really feel bad for anyone who has to get it the "intended" way
