is this actually possible? never have seen it done...
does it only allow people to join under minimum strength trials? -
arcs are available from oro from what i saw

One trick i find that helps with doing the reactors is to clear level by level and nuke the terminals as they are cleared
mostly due to fact that the WW tend to respawn
this also tends to concentrate people to one area to help with 'herding'
most people have problems with seeing a 3d environment when CoH is so 2d in most of its maps -
it should work on any mobs within range but 20% chance of 20% slow doesn;t have enough effect on much anything but loads of minions

'grain of salt' i might be misremembering
when i21 goes live the booster packs will be sold for paragon points in a 'store'
cost should be 10 bucks worth of paragon points (should... may not be)
veteran rewards are being switched to a similar structure
you get veteran tokens for time played from when i21 goes live
and these can be traded in for stuff like 'city traveler' (the get travel power at lvl 6 / without pre-req)
bunch of variables for slots
base is 2 slots these are across ALL servers
you get unlock tokens which you spend on characters or 'slots' to unlock -

Game Accounts
you should have City of Heroes as one of the game accounts
if not... you need to ADD your key to your account
(And change your password / login info)
there are two logins you have here GAME and ACCOUNT
one is for NCsoft site and the other is for COH
Use a Serial Code (though it sounds like you have done that already)
If your Coh Code is not there...
And you have two servers you are trying to 'login' to
the Global server so to speak (which then allows you to select which server you go to (and create your characters on))
the named servers Guardian, Freedom, Virtue etc...
if you are having issues with logging into the game period then you might want to check windows/mac firewall settings for net access for city of heroes -
personally find darkest night from soul mastery a better match for Energy Aura
(granted fire vs neg is what it comes down to) -
Incarnate Components
Added direct conversion recipes for the following:
Notice of the Well converts into 40 Incarnate Threads
Favor of the Well converts into 100 Incarnate Threads
does anyone else see a math problem here?
you know besides snow globe...
upside you can convert the stack of notices to 2 commons...
downside anyone who trades 32 shards and 2 notices for 100 threads needs their head examined or is desperate for 100 threads...
Does anyone know why the conversion rate on threads/shards is so horrible?
why does one common bit = 1 shard or 4 threads? (a 1/4th or 1/5th conversion rate)
a minor error in crafting can take weeks to fix... -
EM is good it has its issues... whiffing hands...
basically EM has build up - extreme dmg - extreme dmg ...
while this is good the animation times suck
ss has rage...
i prefer the stacking of disorients that EM can do vs maybe one or two status effects... -
not sure on toxic but yeah with unstoppable up psi is only way to hurt him...
having done three marauder beat downs in a row for mo lamb... this is gotta be the worst mo badge to get...
mo stf/etc.. tricky but doable with good healing and defensive buffs (and tons of insps)
mo apex / tin mage / baf doable in one run and kind of easy other than the dodger and strong and pretty
mo lamb kill a huge bag of hp three times with him having near 90-100% res to all dmg...
and of course not being able to get let alone use the temps from the cy... that is just beyond stupid
(having lost a mo badge that way sucked big ones... oops extra acid...)
As to the drop seers at beginning... the powers don't recharge in time they should so drop em at unstoppable...or you literally have to drop em 2-3min before timer for defeat starts which makes dropping em almost not worth it... (as you can sometimes blow 2-3min clearing adds to fully focus on marauder)

Energy melee
energy transfer old animation (extend animation time to match new time but allow the straight punch to 'charge' up)
ability to use energy weapons (talasorian blades / nightstar blades)
to use the glow effects of auras in substitution of glowing pom poms of doom
also a 'palm open' style to energy melee... like using the kinetic melee animations -
has anyone tried using temps from a previous Lamb run on a Mo run?
ie get 10 acids on a run get the 10 more use the 10 'extra' ones and then kill marauder without nades (or vice versa...) -
the set to add that really helps EA is Kinetic combat... with 4 sets you soft cap s/l defense almost...
and stick the numina proc into health... doesn't do you as much good in energy drain...
personally don't use conserve energy and claws is very end light set...
slot for recovery and you might be better off... like +end proc in stamina -

dropped marauder without using either...
2 seconds left on the clock...
and no badges.
petitions sent... sigh... bugged badges are even worse than ones that are night impossible to get -
to restate
If the only method you have of getting threads is converting shards to threads from normal play (ie no tfs / trials or whatever)
how much play time do you think it will take to get 1 rare thread bit?
340 threads = 340 shards (disregarding inf) (also you can make 3-4 uncommon enh for your slots with that many threads)
assuming horrible drop rates of 1 shard per hour
5-10 hours a week
20-40 shards a month
a year and a half for one rare... and that is not counting threads to unlock slot with... -
anyone know why the costs on these are so horrible?

4unc 100 threads and 100mil inf
v rare
3 rare 1 common 400mil... (i think)
so for a casual player these are nigh impossible to get...
i can see money cost... and maybe some threads but rares take the cake at 340 threads and 100mil inf...
so how the heck is a person who solo's and does no trial/tf content EVER supposed to get a rare enh let alone 4+ -
train up your alternate build and it should unlock em

but from experience a well slotted debuff works wonders on AVs and such -
couple mobs come to mind
longbow nullifier have a -res s/l res grenade (sonic)
but overall you have much much more -def than -res...
really defense vs resist comes down to this
defense toons hope to avoid the hit and thus are less 'tough' overall
while resistance toons know they are going to be hit and are tougher for it -
having long experience with EM
barrage
energy punch
bone smasher
your bread and butter slot for end red and accuracy
ie accuracy x2 recharge, end red x 3
these you want to hit and want to use little end
Energy Transfer
Total focus
your SMASH attacks slot dmg x3 (acc/end/rech)
these are you main bread a butter smash stuff
properly slotted and with decent fury both will one shot minions and put the hurt on lts
Build up
slotting... 3 x rech is good... might want to put a +hit on it
your i'm going to smash even harder button BU-ET-TF will take most lts out
whiffing hands...
i mean... whirling hands
aoe attack... sucks big ones... but slotting acc and rech works wonders in crowd control
io wise... the stun sets are darn cheap
but if you are just doing vanilla...
(would recommend frankenslotting for best results) -
there are a bunch of 'highlander' stuff
at least two anime's and a slew of tv series... -
not sure which is correct but i think its the beta server for the lambda stuff
