Just got it today!

So for those who want to get this badge, you will need to collect all 10 Pacification Grenades and all 10 Molecular Acids and not use any of them It seems trying to earn one badge at a time is not awarding it properly, so the only way to earn the Master badge is to complete it all at once.

Good luck to those who try, we were down to the wire and had like 50 seconds remaining when we defeated Marauder,

Another Tip for you guys, I know this is probably a little much for most people, but the more Seers you have on the team for Lore Pets the better, because when Maurader uses Unstop, the Seers do full damage as he is not resistant to Psi damage, so keep that in mind.

so far best attempt i been on we got him down to 17% hp before we only had 2 minutes left, so we just used a grenade to finish him off

Bah! Twice today, had teams that rocked him through one Unstoppable, only to get stonewalled on the 2nd 'til the timer expired. 2% and 3% each time!

Good tip on the psi damage. GL to everyone, I'm gonna get Master by the weekend or I'm gonna ...not get it... I didn't think that oath through.

Grats, I didn 3 attempts tonight, the 1st there was some confusion, the 2nd someone went out of their way to grief the run and used an acid on a door while everyone was on the other side of the map, the 3rd we just didn't bring enough damage.

Yeah, I'm guessing our group tried maybe 3-5 times before we decided to wait until we were all either +2 or +3, it helped out a lot as well.

Can we use any of the drops in the courtyard to defeat him just as long as we don't use the temp powers in the Warehouse and Lab? The wording implies that it is just the 10 acids and pacifiers in the Lab and Warehouse that matter.

It doesn't matter where you collect them, you can not use the temp powers if you wish to get the badges.

I think he means if you ARE Smashing/Lethal (which I am) based, that getting the badge is a bit harder unless you can rope in lots of debuffs and psychic damage to help take him down.

My team just successfully completed this, and got no badges other than Synchronized. We got all 10 grenades, all 10 acids, and didn't use any of them. We didn't get any of the grenade or acid badges, and we completed in time. All 16 of us sent petitions.

More that people are less likely to want to take you, as I'm pretty sure that without pacification grenades he has 100% s/l resists.

Well, I can't speak for the rest of the team, but I am a S/L damage dealer, but we didn't build a specific team for this other than the Seers on about 6 of our member. We just happen to have them. So you can form up the team however you like, I didn't exclude any specific AT or damage type. If I'm not mistaken, we had 2 Master Minds and 1 stalker, and I know how people don't like taking them on teams from what I've read in the past...lol

Ok, now that sucks, are you sure no one used any temps? I know it could be missed with all the mayhem going on, so that may be possible. If not, then I hope the GMs grant you the badges, as these trials have been awesome, but come with many bugs.

I was also on the run with Arwen and no one used any of the temps. We even double checked the portals to make sure no one had used an acid. Marauder was never pacified.


Throwing darts at the board to see if something sticks.....

As much as I love badges, this meant the most to me I think. It was the toughest badge I had to fight for. It was well deserved and You all deserve it as well. Good luck dealing with support.

Gratz. So far my best attempt has gotten him to 22%. We got him to 50% in 6 minutes, but then slowed down. The server slowed down dramatically and we could not get our powers off cleanly and quickly (neither could Marauder, there were huge lengths of time between Nova Fists). We did notice that even though the game had slowed down, the trial timer did not. I find that fact, disappointing.

We got him to 24% with 6 minutes left. In those 6 minutes, we got that measly 2%. Yay for server slowdown increasing the duration of his Unstoppable!

Tactics are for those who do not have a big enough hammer. Wisdom is knowing how big your hammer is.

I have been of a few attempts, 1 successful and 3 that were VERY close ( one was 0%...we just couldnt "seal the deal", a 3% or 4%, and a 2%)

I try to stack the team with Sonics, either sonic attack or sonic resonance, TA's, Therms, Cold's, Darks.

On the one I was successful, we had 8 minutes left at the end. I believe that we had 4-5 people with sonic attacks and 2 TA's, it was stacked pretty heavy with -resist toons.

I am POSITIVE that there are other makeups that can do it, these are just what i try to bring and what has worked for me.

The 100% s/l resistance is brutal. Our future attempts are probably just going to sideline the swords, claws, axes, punching, etc characters for a while. Bummer that my main uses a katana, but there you go.

How heavily did you successful folk have to stack your league with debuffers?

If I recall correctly on our "successful" run, those with s/l damage worked primarily on the adds so we didn't get over run. I wouldn't sideline them, but have their focus on adds not Marauder.

This is a very good point. It's not that you'd necessarily exclude S/L damagers, but just rather focus their attention to other problem points on the field (for instance, an ambush that's targeting other players and doing notable damage).

Yes that's what I did (I'm a Claws Scrapper). I focused on the ambushes and such.

Also, only got a generic response to my petition thus far. Thank you all for your support on it. We did everything *exactly* as it says in game, and still no badges.

I'm certainly hoping our petition gets a response.

Wasn't my main badger character, but as my #2 hero, Dr. Continuum sure could use the Merits and components that come with those 3 badges + Master Of accolade.
