Remember that hero side arc where you find yourself *spoiler* ? Also redraw question

Anyone remember that mission (Or was it part of an arc?) that you travel through Portal Corporation to find a glowie that is a pile of bones. When you inspect it you learn its you. Was this a single mission or was that world the Praetoria World? If it was the Praetoria World, how does that mission work now? What if you are a Praetorian?

Also I couldn't find this anywhere but I would of sworn they redid the powersets that had redraw. I thought they made them so that the animations had two animations one with redraw and one without meaning by chaining the powers together you got an animation speed bonus essentially.

Maybe this was something BABs had talked about or my memory is fading. Could anyone remind me?

They tweaked the animations to prevent there from being a noticeable pause after the attack when you didn't have the redraw animation. The animation doesn't take any less time, since that would change the DPS of the powerset, but it looks much smoother visually.

...I forgot what experience means.

Praetoria is actually Upsilon Beta 9-6. The world in that mission is Alpha Upsilon 24-2, a world you destroyed that is now inhabited by ghosts.

This is one of those missions that would be really neat to re-visit now that they have doppelganger tech. Make it, rather than a glowie, a copy of your own character as an AV, or the like.

You've got it backwards. Having two separate animations for weapon attacks, one with draw and one without, is how it USED to be. What BABs did was make it so that the draw time wasn't included in the power activation time, which means that attack chains were sped up as long as you didn't have to redraw.

Issue 16 made me feel like this.

Ok so basically you do more DPS with a weapon set when you are using like attacks? If you have to redraw this slows your animation down?

Is that what you are saying?
