Who here is proud to NOT have a black & red colored villain?
I am proud because I do have red and black villains. After all, red and black is the new red and black.
I am a stylin' fashionista.
I make costumes that fit the character. If red and black works, it works. If not, then I don't use it.
I've got bluesiders who've used red and black.
I've got bluesiders who have not used red and black. I've got redsiders who've used red and black. I've got redsiders who have not used red and black. I've got Praetorians who've used red and black. I've got Praetorians who have not used red and black. I'm not "proud" or "ashamed" of any of it. See a pattern here? |

Nalrok uses dark gray, blood red, white and some black. It works wonderfully, considering all of his Dark Melee/Dark Armor powers are a murky white/gray.

"Dark Armor is a complete waste as a tanking set."
Wait, you guys mean to tell me that the character creator allows villains to select something *other* than red and black?
Huh, learn something new every day!

Hey guys, what's going on in this threa--oh...
My fortunata is red and black, but she's wearing the standard colors
My eng/eng blaster is red and black, but she didn't start as a villain...
My brute is red and yellow. Eh. Half right I guess.
My corruptor is brown and green, so no.
My scrapper is red, blue and white, and my fire/fire blaster is orange, red, blue and white.

I have quite a few black and red villain costumes, and some heroes too; it's a stylish combo. And I tend to use the skulls a lot too (which I mention since they too are a cliche villain attribute); to quote a certain other player, "I detect skulls - Blade is here."
"Pride" is besides the point. What matters is what looks good to me.

It also let's them be named without using some variation of Dark, Darker, Darkest or Darkity-Dark-Dark as well.

Sounds like discrimination based on color if you ask me.
Apparently, I play "City of Shakespeare"

*hangs head* Yes, all too often I resort to the cliche and dress my villains in black and red.
I draw the line at dressing them in red and black though!
... What?

I have a black & red hero, does that count? Actually more than one... 3 or 4, I think.
And 12 villains, but most of them are demon themed. Does it count if the red is skin tone?
Actually that's less than I expected. Gosh, I feel all original now.

My Elec/Elec Brute is a Chinese thunder demon, and dressed in pastel blues and purples.
The plastic tips at the end of shoelaces are called aglets. Their true purpose is sinister.
--The Question, JLU
I have red villains (well, one - a demon summoning demon.)
I have black villains.
Gold seems to be a recurring motif in many of my villains.
I do not combine black and red in any of my villains (I've got several black and gold villains, and most of my characters in my VG heavily feature purple.)
