Discussion: The City of Heroes Billboard Contest Winners are in!

We've had fantastic entries to the City of Heroes Billboard Contest that ran between November 2010 and January 2011 and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your participation and for sending in so many creative and inspired entries!

This time, we asked you to design billboards that could be used around Paragon City and the Rogue Isles and you delivered beyond our expectations once again.

Perhaps, you could make a spot on the website for all the people who entered and let us vote on player choice winner (those that won would of course be excluded because they already won ). Then that winner would get their billboard up as well.

I very much like the PPD advertisement.

Reminds me that we really do have everyday heroes.

Admittedly, that's what you get in the real world as well. When you drive down the highway, there's all sorts of different styles too. Honestly, I think I'd feel more dissonance if they all were in the same style.

This was a very fun contest! Thank you guys so much! Congratulations to all the other winners, and runner ups! These are all awesome. I espescially like the Flying Lotus, very nice layout and type usage, and the logo rocks. The PPD and ZombCare are pretty sweet too! I would like to see more of this stuff in the fan art page.

YAY! Very excited about this. Glad some people liked the Clanket! congrats to the other winners and I hope we'll get to see more of the entries. I love all the very different creative approaches to this contest. Looking forward to seeing em in the game!

I, too, for one agree with Jerikko, a community choice award from the runners-up to be displayed would be a great feature. I also don't mind at all the diverse art styles.

I really kinda almost believed I had a shot, so yeah, I'm disappointed, but the winners were great as usual.

Red, those are great! and Jordan Yen, That's ADORABLE! super adorable! Especially the plates along the bottom and the kheldians!

I love the idea of a Clanket! I also love the execution and style in the Kinetic drinks and I think the PPD advert is inspired too. Each one of the entries here definitely deserves their place in the winners.

I also love that Sushi advert and I think it'd be a nice idea to get a poll going to pick a few more to go in game.

I just uploaded my own entry to my deviantart page here. You can see a higher-res shot of some of the more detailed work in the description. The idea is that the guy flew into the front of the board then peeled himself off and flew off.

I should have entered this to promote my character's shop! Or at least got someone to help me with it.
