2011 Endangered TV Series List
Wow, just about every show that's on TV now is on there. What does that say?
I'd say it proves that the ratings system networks use is outdated and archaic.
Bingo. I haven't watched anything 'Live' except the News since 2006 when I got my 1st Tivo.
Networks need to get with the times and realize that Hulu, DVR's, DVD's of seasons coming out a week after the airing all impact the precious ratings.
Long gone are the days of Neilson families all gathered round the tv at 7pm...

Capt. Biohazrd - PCSAR

Keep Calm & Chive On!
Better With You: No one likes to be reminded of their own mortality or the fact romantic relationships don't get better with time.
Bob's Burgers: The animation style alone dictated this would be a flop. Even the commercials for it were bad.
The Cape: This one I'll miss. It may have been kinda crappy, but gosh darn it, they at least had the guts to put the guy into a costume. Grossing everyone out with The Litch's face will probably ensure even fewer people tune in next week. Not that it matters. Also, the family angst got real old real fast.
Community: What a mean-spirited show. Glad it's going under. I did somewhat enjoy the AD&D episode, but even that one was soaked in venom. No one to root for. No one to like. Good riddance.
Fringe: It comes from the same school of storytelling as Twin Peaks, X-Files and Lost. Show a bunch of weird stuff for the sake of showing a bunch of weird stuff and it doesn't matter if it amounts to nothing or makes zero sense. Not a fan of this school of storytelling. At all.
Human Target: Our man show got ***** whipped into a chick flick. If it can't be a man show, if it can only survive as a chick flick, kill it. Give it an honorable death rather than a dishonorable life. Indira Varma is a one-woman embodiment of why I love women, but, she should've been a Catwoman to Chance's Batman instead of woe-is-me billionairess boss.
Nikita: Die in a fire, you fake.
No Ordinary Family: When a super hero show gets this little notice in this forum, something's wrong. Of course, the leads have an icky, chemistry-free marriage, which didn't help. But the show did right in keeping things light, fun and simple compared to the heavy, boring, convolution that was Heroes.
Outsourced: I like it. It's one of the smartest shows on TV and one of the smartest sitcoms ever. Admittedly, outsourcing of jobs isn't exactly the best source of material for a laugh-fest. Especially if you've been outsourced.
V: Well, it's better than the original. Don't believe me? Go back and watch it. Or better yet, don't, and keep all your good memories of it in tact. Same goes for Knight Rider and The A-Team.

WARNING: I bold names.
They're going to renew Supernatural again? Don't get me wrong, I love the show, but c'mon folks, you already had them fight the devil and you're giving them another season to scratch out a happy ending for the Winchesters. Go out with dignity and don't risk a big quality drop.

IMO supernatural should have ended last season cause that was one of the best series/season finales ive ever seen.

Well, I'll be gutted if we lose Community, i think it's one of the best shows out there.
Never understood the logic of putting it up against something like Big Bang Theory which is gonna have such an overlap of viewer demographics! Makes no sense.

I knew The Cape was going to be cancelled ever since I saw the premier.
Bob's Burgers looks cheap, people dont watch cheap shows, even if they may be good (never watched it)
Now that that's done, Family Guy has gotten a bit odd. the only way I can describe it is that the show has lost something.
50Soulsunder: DM/Regen Scrapper
50Limitshift: EM/WP Brute
Victoria Nox: Dark/Dark Dominator
And about 5 others that change constantly...
I love that show too when does it air now? I was dissapointed that it wasn't on Thursday night.

Cleveland. I saw one episode of Bob's Burgers and wasn't impressed. Reminded me of the 30 seconds I watched of Beevus and Butthead (never understood why people found that show so funny); same creator too if I'm not mistaken. The animation looks the same.

BB grew on me. At first I was meh about it, but the ep that did it for me was the one where Bob was trapped inside the walls of his place. I'm willing to cut it slack on the animation as, well, I've watched a lot of cartoons in my life and unless it's something truly odd (like One Piece), I'll try to look past any defects.
I hope that, if Fringe is to be canceled, they don't end it on a cliffhanger with a ton of unanswered questions. It'd be Threshold all over again.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.
Black Pebble is my new hero.
I hope BB gets renewed, it's pretty good once you get over the weird animation style. Whats with the heaping on family guy? It's still a great show. Better than 90% of the other crap thats on the air now. The Cape., ehhh not so inspired idea, awful costumes, actings not horrible but I hope this ones gonna die. NOF is one of those shows I keep meaning to watch but never get around too.

I have five shows that I record on my DVR . . . all five are on the endangered or cancelled list
I've been watching The Cape, but I didn't expect it to survive the moment it was announced. I still watch Smallville in spite of the not-so-great writing . . . too many years to miss the last few episodes.
However, Chuck is my current favorite show and I will be very sad if it is cancelled. Fringe has been an interesting series this year. No Ordinary Family is fun . . . not a tragedy if it gets cancelled, but I'll miss it. It has just started getting more interesting.
LOCAL MAN! The most famous hero of all. There are more newspaper stories about me than anyone else. "Local Man wins Medal of Honor." "Local Man opens Animal Shelter." "Local Man Charged with..." (Um, forget about that one.)

One of the things I like about Fringe this season are the three different versions of it. You have the original, the alternate universe and the 80's story lines.

Saddest thing on that list for me is No Ordinary Family. It started off kinda slow, but frankly has for me picked up some steam in the last month or so. But it is up against Glee which could be part of the problem right there. It would be nice to have ABC find a nicer spot for it and give it a second season to see what happens.
Shame about The Cape.
And even though I'm a fan of the show, Supernatural coming back -again- does seem to be a bit odd. I'd love to see a spinoff, but they seem to be intent of wringing everything they can from the Winchesters.
Save for Smallville and an article from a while back about how badly Lone Star bombed, I've never even heard of the rest of the shows on the canceled listed.
Any word on the Being Human remake, while I'm at it?
Tales of Judgment. Also here, instead of that other place.
good luck D.B.B.
The Cape needs a bit more time to build up it's story. But wouldn't be suprised (or sad) if it's cancelled. The new Wonder Woman series being on NBC means it will be cancelled near the end of the first season. NBC needs to be put out of its misery. Comcast needs to shake that thing up.
No Ordinary Family would sadden me. As others have said it's getting good and is further along in eps than The Cape, so it's had to time to build up it's story. Michael and Julie rock! Starting to like the kids also. Hope it isn't cancelled.
And Chuck is resilient. Two seasons ago I thought it was gone. It will be renewed. But just barely and not without a lot of fan help. I'm waiting for the series to end to catch it on Netflix. Which I hope won't be for some time to come.
Medium I'm shocked is still running.
Farewell Smallville. It's pretty good for it's last year. Thought they would phone it till the last 3 eps. Not so. Plus they keep bringing in more and more of the greater DC Universe as the season grows.
Everything else I'm unimpressed with. Fringe never got me.
V can die in fire. ABC's idiotic move to not allow the show on HULU pretty much killed any chance anyone had of catching up if they missed an ep. Similar to the dick move by SYFY (LOL dumb names are dumb) in relation to SG:U (which was horrible compared to SG1 and Atlantis).
