With SG:U not being on Hulu or SyFy's site means I'm watching that and catch Castle on Hulu next week.

Fringe really is one of the best shows on TV right now, and it's a shame that it's on the chopping block. It could easily have settled into the 'freak of the week' type show, but instead has consistently pushed forward it's stories every season and given us a fresh direction each year (and yes, I love where they've taken this season). It would be a real shame if it goes.

No Ordinary Family has surprised me with it's improvements. I really like the special effects of the powers and the super fights have been much more believable than Heroes or Smallville (and not off camera). I think it scared away some people because of some of the teen angsty stories, but it's actually turned into a pretty decent superpowers show.

V is plain and simply a guilty pleasure show for me. So syrupy bad it's fun to watch. Whether its a flash of some really bad special effects or even more melodrama piled on top of the previous melodrama or Anna reaching to twirl her virtual mustache whenever she speaks of her next evil plan, I have to admit I'm still watching.

Agreed. Both the wife and I have enjoyed the Powell family a lot more than expected. This is probably the way "Heroes" should've gone, though I will credit the writers for giving most of the characters some depth for the events of a single season so far.

NOF managed in one episode to give us the superpowered fight that Heroes couldn't do in four seasons.

Any word on the Being Human remake, while I'm at it?
The wife and I seem to like Siffy, er I mean SyFy's version of "Being Human" quite well. Sadly I can't get her interested to watch the British version so we can compare and contrast.

Oh well...

Word. I will never forgive the Heroes "fight behind closed doors" scene. AUGH! SO BAD!!

I suspect a lot of the deal with ratings is that you have to make a strong start or you're in bad shape. A lot of viewers drop off if you don't capture their attention right away, and it doesn't matter after that if the show improves.

But I agree - I was initially very dismissive of the show and was just watching because it was brain candy to space out to, but it's actually gotten really good. Still pretty cheesy at times, but nowhere near the saccharine sweetness that it started with. I hope it squeaks by.

I'm pulling for Bob's Burgers. I'm turned off by the animation, but I'm a fanboi for the creator, Loren Bouchard (Home Movies and Dr. Katz, NOT Beavis and Butthead (that's Mike Judge)).

Also I'm a bigger fanboi for Jon Benjamin (from both the prior mentioned shows and he's also the voice of the title character from the great... ARCHER!)

I started watching Fringe when it moved to Friday and man do I wish I'd been keeping up. I love it.

Also I think Community is a very very clever show and I'd miss it for sure.

I think it's safe to say that The Cape is done. Read something on AintItCool that said it's 10th episode (they cut the initial order from 13 to 10 - itself a bad sign) won't be aired on TV, but you can watch it online. How true that is? Dunno. Wouldn't surprise me.
