How do I marry something that isn't a noun?
Edit: fine it is a noun. I'd still rather marry a shoe.

Speed Boost is a noun. Please don't expect me to explain why.
@OP: The way I see your role as a kin: every 2 minutes (or less) refresh SB. If someone is across the map.. their loss. Try to hit them when they get close. If it's a stoner begging for it because they can't move, try to keep it on them, but if someone has a bad build and can't keep up their blue bar.. that's not your fault. If they need end so badly, they can go into melee range for Transference.

You wanna keep an awesome buff on me at all times? Fortitude. Frostwork. World of Pain. Even the basic Sonic shields. Any buff that makes me awesome, but can't easily be replicated with set bonuses.

And people wonder why I solo my Kin only. I love playing my Kin. I just have no need to play with people that can't live without their SB fix. I don't have a single toon that needs Speed Boost so the way I feel, other than a stone tank, anyone with a build that has to have it needs to be reworked. If by chance a friend talks me into a team and some guy starts whining that he needs SB after I already gave it to him, I will just leave the team. I play for fun and being treated as a buff bot is not fun. Don't like my opinion? Tough. It's my $15. Pay for my time and you can tell me how to to play.

my fire/kin doesnt have Speed Boost, so I dont have that problem, but then again, I havent been on any teams with him yet :/
I have 3 or 4 kins (lost count). I love the set but the short duration for SB is annoying as well as the constant "SB?" from team members. To make matters worse if you take ID it has a longer duration which ruins syncing both powers. This is why although I LOVE playing kins, I barely play any of mines. They only come out if there is an urgent need for one. I've always thought SB should have its duration increased to match ID, or it should be made an area effect multiple target power instead of single target.
Who do I have to *&^% around here to get more Targeted AoE recipes added?

Well while we're off topic..
I agree that it's a noun, but different reasons. Speed Boost is the name of a thing (the power). We could argue whether it's more officially a proper noun or just a "title," but essentially Speed Boost is a noun for the same reason The Sun Also Rises or As I Lay Dying are. Or "Dominate," "Mesmerize," and "Confuse" are, even if they aren't nouns in normal English.
[EDIT: Note that it can also act like a verb, though. Similar to how the word "sleep" can be a noun or verb: "Sleep is my favorite thing." (noun) "Sleep in peace." (verb)]
I've got a /Kin w/o SB, and almost everyone who's teamed with her in the past will usually take her killer combo of Trans/Trans/Ful any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

SB plz
Let's keep in mind there's a difference between someone asking for an SB once because it had been a couple of minutes until the last speed boost, and people contiously demanding SB the very second it drops. The latter can get old quick, especially when you're a Controller or Corruptor and you got an entire Primary people expect you to neglect in favour of one power.
Player who completely neglects to ever put a particular buff on the team is simply a bad player, yeah, but there's a difference between neglecting to use a power and there being a couple seconds of down-time between reapplying a buff.
Instead of asking me for it every 20 seconds
I have other powers too! Im not a speed boost machine AHHHHHH!!!!
