The BBB is little more than a membership club to make it's members look better. It was a good place to get info on companies at one point, but no longer. You can pay for a better rating. There is no way a system like that can be called unbiased.

I can't believe that they are saying that it's over on the negotiations. It's not over till the servers are turned off. It sounds like a ploy to get us to back the pressure off of them. They know the bad press we are causing them is going to cost more in advertising than what the game is worth to recover from.

This is the greatest boss fight we have ever faced. The odds are not with us, but ask yourself, would you rather give up saying there is no hope or would you rather go down fighting.

We have nothing to lose at this point and everything to gain.

I just checked my account. It looks like they removed the end date from our subs. Mine was going to run out on Dec 24th and my 2nd account next month on the 18th. Now it doesn't show anything other than VIP and Playable.

I'm going to miss hearing about Sister Flame. Her stories made me smile every time. I wish you all the best in whatever game you find next.

I have never had fun with PvP. It's not because ATs were out of balance or some power was stronger than others. It's the way people act. I know most don't act like jerks, but the jerks are all that stand out.

Last time I was in a PvP zone I was there working on a badge. I got jumped by a team of 8. No big deal. That's the risk when you go there. What made it suck was what that team did after. All 8 of them started mocking me in broadcast and tells. I slapped them with ignores and several of them switched toons so they could keep mocking me. I sat next to the entrance and watched as people left the zone until is was just me and the team of 8 there. They couldn't understand why everyone left.

At this point so few people PvP that it's not worth the money or the Devs time to fix it.

I can honestly say that will not fix everyone. I have never used Steam, and the best I could get on loading in safe mode was about 95% of the load bar before CoH locked up. It was running a 8800GTS when the problems started for me after the last patch. That computer has been torn down for a ground up rebuild (waaaay overdue. socket 939 motherboard.) I do still have the hard drive just as it was so I can search to see if there was something installed on it. I just don't have enough of the old computer left to fire it up again.

This seems to be popping up with several people. Looking at the first page there are 3 people with the same problem. Well, 4 really because I have it too on one of my computers. It's about to be replaced (motherboard failing) so I'm not going to bother trying to fix it. I just wonder how many people that don't come to the forums are fighting this.

I think reading this tread jinxed me. I just paid 15mil each for 10 common salvage. I didn't even notice till I went to pull it from WW.

Personally I'm hoping that they add the old ones back in as an option after the shininess wears off the new one.

Last time this happened to me I just turned on walk and worked my way out. The only thing to watch for is ambushes. This only happens to my toons that have some kind of stealth power that I had used in the mission (power or IO on a power.) Not sure if the system just doesn't realize that the power is off or if it's some other issue, but it doesn't happen very often to me.

Sounds to me like the OP had a bit of bad luck there. Most people I know will say hello to a new person that just walked up. I've had some very fun times hanging around in Atlas talking to anyone that was looking to join in.

They changed it from game specific to general all game time cards just after Auto Assault was shut down. They said then that any NCSoft game card would work on any other NCSort game. I know the Auto Assault cards worked on CoH because I've used around 15 of them over the years. I'm guessing that if they are not working now that it's a bug.

I would rather our devs do things like this than never be around. My brother plays a MMO type driving game and he has never seen a dev or even a GM in the entire time he's been playing. The player base there are always complaining that they are being ignored.

You never realize how great we have it till you see a game that doesn't have people like Z.

The same thing happened to me but I was 56 of 460 in the queue. When I got back in I found that half of the people in one of my chat channels also got booted.

My first 50 was an archery. There is nothing wrong with it as is. Dump everything to make it flashy, no thanks. Adding an option for people that want to make it not look like arrows, maybe. It's really a non-issue for most people.
