If Batman (and thus, the Batmobile) were Japanese
That is.... so ridiculous it boggles the mind.
What? No video of it transforming into mecha mode?

We don' need no stinkin' signatures!
That is pure awesome.
I can now picture Batman waving a wand and yelling "Baaaatt.... scepterrrrrrr..... eliminationnnnnnnnn!!!!"

... that looks like something Jeremy Clarkson would do if he were given the okay to design a new batmobile.
He'd take a ford transit body, put it on a Jaguard XJ220, then add on lots of fiddly bits and fins, then call it a day.
There's a whole subculture for these kinds of vehicles in Japan. That thing is a typical example of what they do.

Hyperstrike, /agree.
However, I do have one comment on the original... where are the fins? I can barely SEE them!

I'm just sad that the giant yellow pincers in the front are decorative only.
In my imagination, they're clomping together viciously while the car remotely chases down whatever crooks have made the mistake of running down the street.

There is so much going on that I find I have a hard time focusing on the vehicle.
It looks like a minivan was dropped on top of a Cadillac so hard that the two fused together. Then it was painted bright purple. Why was it painted bright purple?
That thing is about as non-functioning as it gets. It's way too big to maneuver through city streets with any ease. It is all just so...dumb.

If you didn't notice the link from where those pictures first came from, here. More winged vans. And I thought Dekotora was funky.

With all the purple, it looks more like a Joker version of the Batmobile.

I can handle the fins and the mini-mobile. I can imagine a really campy pirated variation of Batman in which he drives a car with a picture of himself on the hood. I can even handle the color scheme. But I do wonder ... why does it look like a giant, red leech has attached itself to Catwoman's neck on the hood there?

I like the additional article linked with more pictures where the guy mislabels a very blatant One Piece van.

BEHOLD!
(Yes, it boasts a miniature version of itself, in case of Bat-emergencies)
