started a new job today, back in my field after a depressing lay-off. and following a crippling hard drive crash, almost have the computer re-set up.
To explain why I feel good or bad would revel more information about myself than I am comfortable sharing with people I don't know.

Doing fine, aside from getting logged out of the forums every so often.
got a bunch of work done earlier, looking forward to checking my market traps when I get home and seeing which of my fire tanks recipe bids came through. Browsing everybody's halloween pics on Facebook.
Listening to New Order, considering getting another cup of coffee before I clock out.....y'know, the usual.

Tired Marcian had a rough day at work.******* customers are idiots and I had to deal with a million of them.
It must be some kind of cosmic balance thing, had a great weekend and now it's payback time....sigh....
Wrote a post-secondary math exam in 30 to 45 minutes today and got it back today with 100%.
The first step in being sane is to admit that you are insane.
Pretty good day, for the most part. Kinda slow at work, due to it being the first of the month and my customers have better things to do than to call me with questions.

I'm torn between having no money, wanting to play, looking for work and going to school all at the same time. Could be better. Could be worse. Just trying to hang on as best I can.

I started my new job today yay! Working part time seasonal help at a jewelry store. I actually get to wear nice clothes and this will be my first winter since I entered the workforce that will be worked indoors another big YAY! So far my Monday has been a Yayday!

Still too many things I'd like to do but can't, but I enjoyed the things I could.
Blah. A bit stressed about running low on jobs at work. Mostly because in my field no work tends to quickly mean no pay and possibly no job in a rather bad economy. My vices may not be very numerous or terribly expensive, but i'm very fond of them.
So, feeling a bit irritable, and taking it out on Ulti-dude just makes me feel bad about it later because it's sort of like challenging the asthmatic kid with a stutter to a limerick shouting contest. Sure, the more mean-spirited might laugh, but it's still not nice to do and you can't actually feel like it counts as any sort of real victory.

I hate this time of year.
Srsly.
Every store feels the need to fragrance their buildings with that godawful holiday spice or whatever the hell it is scent. You know the one. Spicy, "warm", kinda like mulling spices on overdrive. It makes me feel uncomfortably warm, makes my forehead sweat and gives me a headache.
OTOH, one can start staying inside without feeling guilty. Garden is done, no more lawn mowing for the season, and generally time to unwind.
Wondering my friend is sending me hate texts from the Dominican.

Woke up with massive shoulder/neck pain... been hurting on and off all weekend, it's really bad today. Must have twicked something in the gym. (I'm just getting back into it...bah)
Outside of the pain, had to deal with an employee in my department slicing open her hand. Not a real deep cut as far as i can tell... maybe a stich or two. It's just, when someone get hurts, and bleeds... there's the whole big long process of getting first responders, and our cleaning department to "disinfect" the area... had to talk her into going to get a tetanus shot... she's a bit of a baby when it comes too needles. My logic is... you just flayed open you hand, how bad is a shot comparied to that?? *shrug*
Now I'm short handed... pun intended... so, i'll need to prolly go out on the floor and help a bit... today of all days when i can barely use my right side arm thanks to the pain in the neck and shoulder...
So yeah.. been a banner morning. Cant' wait to see how the rest of the day pans out.

Doing fine, thanks for asking Marcian. Today was my day off, had some fun with family. However the downside is that after today I work a 8 day straight shift at a call center, were it's the equivalent of trying to give a baboon instructions over the phone on how to do open heart surgery. Overall it's good, until I go back to work tomorrow. On the plus side IT firewalls are a bit lax so I can visit the forums when i want.

well, still liking the new job..but i have to get up at 4:45 am to go to work. i am not a morning person. plus side, off friday through sunday, every week.

As for me, I won a fruit smoothie at McDonald's and started an intense project to be more productive on the CCG I'm designing. Extremely happy.
