Those TF designs look awful (like demented love child of the movie and Animated designs, two bad tastes that taste even worse together). Thank Primus for the Generations line (and the Universe 2.0 and Classics lines that preceded it).

Bad designs, poor quality animation.
Please just give me a decent new transformers series.

People always flinch at redesigns if they don't look just like the older version. I didn't think they looked that bad. I'm certainly willing to give it a chance to impress.

Liked Transformers Animated, just think it had a slow pace and didn't really pick up until the end of Season 1. I enjoyed it, thought it was great. The only thing I do wish for is that Hasbro would give up on the Bay-former style and go to something more G1, but that's just me.

I like the designs for the most part, but I'm really not digging the faces. In particular, the mouths. 
They're just... no.

I haven't seriously watched a Transformers series since Beast Machines. Looks like one more I probably won't watch.
On another note, I don't know why people are comparing Beast Wars CGI to TF: Prime's CGI. We're talking about an almost 15 year gap between the two, I'm quite certain CGI tech has improved a lot in that time...

I knew this series was gonna use Bayformer designs. But using simplified versions of the Bayformers? Yesh! That makes what are already ugly designs (IMHO) even worse.
Hopefully there's an actual story or I think I'll skip this one as well.

I liked it.
Asthetics aside, I'm hoping its a well written series. It's already got good ingredients, such as a stellar voice cast. I don't want to see it treat its audience like morons with halfassed stories and poor characterisation. Beast Wars, Beast Machines and Animated demonstrated that a good Transformers show is possible. Even the G1 movie had its moments. Here's hoping Prime continues that tradition.

I can accept the less than stellar animations. Budget is surely an issue for things like these. This is if and only if the writing is solid, which the previous didn't really give me hopes for.
It's a 5 part miniseries, so the writing ought to be more than decent, since they have a definite boundary to work with.
If the human characters aren't too annoying, it should be good.
Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.
The robots themselves look alright. Not my favorite but alright. Then again the only show I'd ever watched with any regularity was Beast Wars.
Those people look hideous though.

The robots' mouths annoy me so much I wanna smack the animators in the face.
That and it looks way too childish, Beast Wars is going on 15 years old and it looked better.

I figured I got past animated looks , I can give this one a chance. Animated intially wasn't something I was all that interested in, but as it went on it proved have the best writing since Beast wars. This might possibly follow suit, so I see no reason be negative till I get to see a bit of it. I might even then check back on it later as Animated started really pick up in the second season. I have faith this could be worth watching regardless of less than ideal designs.

Another clip, Arcee beats up some Decepticon Troopers! (A.K.A. Eradicons).
Oh, and it will be a full series. It's just going to start with a five parter that leads into the full season. It's like "Five Faces of Darkness" leading into season 3 of G1.
You know, except not as lackluster.
Why does Optimus Prime keep getting a mouth? The faceplate looks BA. Stop taking it off >.<

Eeh. A mouth is unnecessary if you want to show expression. Body language can tell alot, as does a good voice actor.
Other than Optimus getting a mouth again, I think the series looks neat.

I dont care if i sound like a whiney retro lover, I just want the classic designs in a new series
Also if you watch the transformation animations they are a bit lacking and atleast in Gen1 and Beast Wars (much as though I disliked it) the animations tended to reflect the toys.
Also Beast Wars poor animation (and hey even Gen 1 to an extent) is simply due to the limitaitons of the technology of the time, especially Beast Wars.
Churning out something that looks like this series, now, with the technology available to animation studios... its upsetting that they don't care enough.
What I really want to see is one of the big japanese companies do a series run and show America how its done. Clamp or Bones would own transformers
