The first official sneak peak of Transformers: Prime!
G1 was awesome for the stellar voice cast, honestly. Really only a few Outstanding episodes / storylines. I mean just to hear Frank Welker (Megatron), or Chris Latta (Starscream) doing their Villain monolougining made the series for me.

Why does Optimus Prime keep getting a mouth? The faceplate looks BA. Stop taking it off >.<

I know it's just a personal viewpoint thing and from being used to the older designs, but I can't help it. It always strikes me as slightly comical.
That's not casting any judgements on the actual quality of the series; I'll save that until it's out. The animation looked just fine to me and it at least looks to be pretty action heavy. And hey, Arcee's in it! Get Black Arachnia in there and it'll probably be the most estrogen any Transformers series has had, ever.

Couple shows have had two female characters in it. Animated so far has the highest fembot count. Elita-1 /blackarachnia(a two for one shot.), Arcee, slipstream, strika, first aid and one last one I wont mention if you haven't watched the entire series. (might been few others in the background I missed.)

Nice to know they're working more of 'em in there. Now they just need some multi-national robots and the obligatory handicapped one (robot in a wheelchair?) and the Politically Correct Transformers will be complete.
Eh... I grew up on Beast Wars and basically had graphics that looked like a computer pooped them out. And then stepped on them.
And yet it was good. Why? Because the writers were fan-freaking-tastic.
I will reserve judgment on this one. When I saw the trailer I just laughed, but now that I think about it, the cheesy look doesn't affect the writing at all. Maybe we'll all be pleasantly surprised.
Eaaagh....I wasn't a fan of Animated's style, but I hear good things about it and, hey, in the end it's kinda unique. It's a more cartoony stlye.
This? This is like the demon evill love-child of modern kids TV shows (which, compared to what they used to be, are dross...and this is coming from a 19 year olf, for christ sakes!) and Bayformers. Bayformers is Eeeee-Viiiiilll!
I wish they'd do a series based off War for Cybertron...that'd be so much win.
Although they would have to get Frank Welker to do the voice. Still not a huge fan of WFC Megs voice...
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

does anyone have verizon for cable? If so do you happen to know what channel the Hub is on?

From TFwiki Team Prime live on Earth as a pre-emptive measure against the return of the Decepticons, forming an alliance with three teens as Megatron returns having discovered a rare element that grants him rule of life itself. The show delves into what it is to be a Prime, and though in continuity with Exodus and War for Cybertron, its Earth-bound backstory is reminiscent of the live-action film series.[5] |
As for voices of Megatron, I prefer Fred Tatasciore over Frank Welker's current voice. He's gotten older and his Megatron gotten a bit too raspy and high pitched for when he voiced the movie games. He definitely sounds different than his original voice back in the 80s as Megatron. I don't hate it, but he just seems out of place with the rest of the cast having such deeper voices. Frank Welker is an amazing voice actor, just I prefer both Weaving or Fred over him as Megatron as of now. WFC megatron felt like a nice mixture of the smoothness of Beast wars megatron(Yesss!) and the aggressiveness of Movie Megatron. It made him both powerful but charismatic. It really worked for me.
May be Welkers voice for Megatron will sound better than his 3 most current takes on the character.(transformers beginnings, both movies games...and This!) I read something that he will try for a wider range so he might prove he's still best man to be Megatron. Just as of now he's not my first choice.
I still hope he finds plenty of work as I didn't mind him as sound wave one bit. (his classic Doctor Claw voice.) I really like the guy as the Interviews of him and Peter Cullen Working together on the transformers games was awesome. The two seem like such great friends, as you could tell they really like working together. Admittedly there's alot of nostaglia with it all. So I can see why people want that to happen again.

Targeting computers are not that expensive. Buy some and get them installed in your goons. Do this soon, please, as you're currently making Imperial Stormtroopers look like marksmen.
Thanks.
