Devs, get back to normal Boosters.

(I WILL be buying the newest booster)

Honestly, I'm surprised you did a all cape/aura booster after how the party pack worked out.

So, the point is, get back to boosters like the science, or the magic boosters, maybe do another round since you've covered all the origins.

That is all.

Goodbye. Not to the game, but the players. Goodbye. Everyone, remember to have fun. That's all I can say.

Apart from a single power in 4 of the 5 individual origin boosters (Self-Destruct, Ninja Leap, Mystic Fortune, Secondary Mutation), how were they any different from this new booster?

Emotes(ok, in party pack) and FULL costume sets, and the powers like you said.

Also, either back to normal boosters, or lower the price to 5$, not 8$ or 10$.

They had at least 2 full sets of new costume pieces

They haven't even priced this one yet.

I would also point out that you're not obligated to buy it at all, especially if it doesn't have much that you're interested in (and without a power like the other boosters, your character's gameplay performance gains exactly zero benefit from it).

Yes they have. Black Pebble said it'd be 9.99 in the official discussion thread. I'm of the opinion it should be 7.99 but I'll still be shelling out the cash for it either way.

They did, it's $10.

I agree with the OP. I'd rather have the packs in the line of the origin super boosters than the current ones.

I'll buy this one too though, some of those capes and auras really do look awesome.

I think they could consolidate the wedding and party pack so I don't have to purchase something called "the wedding pack"

The Mutant Booster had 19 costume pieces and 5 emotes.

The Origins Pack has 15 costume pieces - including 10 auras, which (barring some really weird SCR about the game engine) are almost certainly more work to develop than a single costume piece, being a mesh and animation, rather than just a mesh.

It also had costume change emotes (quite elaborate ones), regular emotes and a power.

My 2cents, but I've hit a pause (me and my wife) in my auto credit card reflex for the boosters, after the last one.

Revenue is the only reason this game exists, and we've bought everything available sans the party dud to this point, but there's an aura of gullibility inferred in the last two now imo and I'll wait for something with a little meet on the bones.

Hmph....How do we know the party pack did lousy in sales?

I bought it, as did Mark, and every time I play I see quite a few players using it.

And I am very glad to get some new capes and auras...and at level 1!

Sigh...I do hope all the negativity I have been reading won't cause the Devs to say "Up yours" and stop creating these packs. I enjoy them.

Lisa.

I'll probably get this one, pretty much just because I have a character who really, really, wants sparks.

I really doubt you need to worry about that. Well, they might say "up yours", but it wont stop them from creating packs.

I don't see the origin booster being anything different than the Super Boosters, other than the lack of a temp power.

They were costume packs, with a few extras.

Origin Booster is just strictly costume options (and Capes and Auras are costume options).

The power was only in the Super Boosters, because the first one had one, so all got one.

valkyrie Pack only got one because it came with the Mac Edition.

15 costumes pieces, not to bad at all.

15 costume options. Not enough, especially considering its just capes and auras. They should have added some emotes and CC emotes. I don't think every booster needs a power in it, but I have to look back at the super boosters and see costume pieces, emotes, CC emotes, and powers for a $9.99 price tag. To me, this new pack and the party pack don't deliver enough for the money they're asking.

Sure, the simple solution is to say, "Don't buy it." And I won't. But that's not what I want. Believe it or not, I WANT to support the game and am perfectly happy with the micro transactions set up. But I want the content of those booster packs to be worth the money I'm spending. These last two... I just don't see it. I might use one of the capes and maybe two of the auras. With the Party Pack, I might use a couple of the emotes... but not regularly.

I'm starting to feel like they're trying to see how little they can get away with delivering, and that's not a good business model.

I hope they dont release many more. People are going to see this stuff somewhere, and are going to think 'oh that looks cool, I might try it' then when they get the game and get in there, they're going to be dissapointed that they have to fork out even more, just to get something specific they saw.
I would like a couple of boosters but I have no way of paying electronically, so for me, its just more stuff to miss out on.

Better than being told they have to level to 20 or 30 or 50, or wait over a year for a Veterans badge.

That's right, NCSoft is a evil corporation!

No, I don't believe that. I said I was starting to feel it, though. And I don't like the feeling, so I wish they'd put more into the packs or price them better.

Yeah because vaguely menacing unsubstantiated feelings are worth so much more consideration than actual facts or declarative statements.

just imo, the auras make it worth the price tag for the extra work that goes into making them in comparison to regular costume pieces.
