Which superhuman's powers would you NOT want?
Ever hear about an old video-game caricature named Boogerman. : P

I think I'd pass on telepathy.(I mean you could opt to not use it but I know one thing about humans, we have too much desire to look at things we probably shouldn't.) I know I wouldn't want someone poking around my head that I wouldn't want to do the same to someone else. It's just this huge violation.
I just imagine it would ruin the way you looked at people, or being able to forgive them as you'd get info you never should. People lie so much that some times it really is better to live the lie than to know the truth each and everytime. It's not to say it's not with out it's use. Just some times it's better not to know. I just find it's too much of a pandora's box to open. Sometimes there's too much information when comes to people's personal affairs.

Some people you don't want accidentally see naked.
I believe there is an X-Men character who's organs are giant leaches that act as his stomach. He can call them out to fight for him. Yeah.
Immortality, it would stink. You can't die, ever. Theres an earthquake and you get buried in the basement of a huge building. How long would you have to stay there till someone found you? Also, the world ends, maybe the sun explodes or something. This leaves you floating through space for eternity. You would see all of your friends and family, everyone you care for, die.
King Midas' Touch. Not being able to eat and the ability to turn your loved ones into gold statues accidentally is not worth being unbelievably rich.

Ma-Ti (Captain Planet) - The power of heart is supposed to instill caring, passion, and sympathy into the people of the world to care for the planet. I dont think Ive seen an episode where that actually worked.

Seriously, if you're going to be a Captain Planet villain, he's probably the 2nd most dangerous one at any given time.

I would not want the power of telepathy like Professor X or Jean Gray.
Having to constantly block all thoughts that appears around you, having the power to invade other peoples minds... nah. (Babylon 5 illustrates this good with the Telepath's having to constantly hum nursery rhythms, counting etc.. to block stray, constant thoughts... and that was not even scanning)

You are in a maze of twisty little passages
Ted Sallis, he tried to recreate the Super Soldier serum and after being attacked in the Florida Everglades (I think by Aim or Hydra) he injected himself with the test serum and dived into the water and became Man-Thing and now burns "whoever knows fear" when he touches them.
Mr Immortal is a horrible character and mostly relegated to the "humourous" comics, like Great Lakes Avengers along with Flatman and Big Bertha.
I also feel for Black Bolt... a politician unable to speak...
Thelonious Monk
Yeah, I forgot about Black Bolt. Having that kind of power with no "off" switch other then not talking would suck. I wonder what happens if he catches a cold?
Telepathy would be OK if it wasn't an "always on" power, which I don't think it was until the modern age of angsty superheroes. If it was an on-demand power, it would be OK, though it would be a very tempting power to abuse.
Oh, you know who else's power sucks? Destiny from Mystique's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants: the power to not quite see the future. "Don't get on that plane, it might crash! Then again, it might not. I'm not really sure because I can't actually see the future, just one of many possible outcomes; y'know, sort of like everyone else on earth."
I used to think immortality would be awesome, but now I agree with the people who think it would suck. You would continually outlive everyone you know and love. And even if you were impervious to harm, and didn't have to eat or breathe, you'd still need money to live a comfortable life, so you'd either have to become a villain, get lucky and strike it rich, or you'd have to work for a living... forever!

I'd also hate to be Daredevil.
His supersenses power is bad enough but that's really his secondary power. His main power is the uncanny ability to bugger up everything in his life and the lives of those he holds nearest and dearest - everyone who ever gets close to him either dies or ends up in a mental institution (except for the long-suffering Foggy Nelson)
Thelonious Monk
Here's an actual character's power that I just wouldn't want: The Darkness.
Jackie pretty much can't have sex, and he has one of the easiest to come by weaknesses ever (light). It pretty much only works if you're already kinda badass, like Jackie, before you get the power.
Collosus, Captain Marvel, and the Green Lantern are all super powered characters with an off switch that works a heck of alot better. I'd rather have my powers shut off when I turned them off at will, yelled a secret word or pulled the ring off my own finger. Don't get me wrong those are by no means the worst defects to put up with to achieve power but there's far better packages that get the same perks.

Jay Doherty: Yes, there was this one night that I was ready to go home but had to drop the browns off at the super bowl before I left for home. While on the throne it hit me. I stayed for a few more hours and that why we have the pain pads in the game.

It would mainly suck during major wars, disasters, etc. It would also suck if all human/sentient life died out, and so you'd be force to come to terms with being alone. But I think the experience would be worth it.
If you could have 2 powers, immortality and teleportation, then that'd be pretty boss. Because assuming you didnt need to breathe or eat, you'd *eventually* be able to teleport to alpha centuari, etc. Galactic Core here I come in like 30,000 years. And hey, you could see what happens when an immortal being hits a black hole.

It would certainly suck if you could get hurt and slowly regenerated, or kept getting older but couldnt die, or some crap like that. But otherwise, it'd be great. Sure, you outlive everyone you love, but then again, so does pretty much everybody who lives to be 80 or 90 or more. So it is a fate you might well experience anyway. Why not stay young while doing it? As for the money, well, your investments would get pretty large eventually.

I see what you're saying there but the biggest problem with immortality is that as finite beings we are not designed to cope with it. People change in attitude and thought quite dramatically over their three score and ten, and I notice in myself as I get to the half-century how differently I perceive the world compared to 20 or 30 years ago. Multiply that by a factor of even a couple of hundred and you'd have one messed up person

Spleen (Mystery Men) - His power is Superpowered Flatulence. Nuff said.

I hate stuff like waiting on long lines or having people sitting next to me and talking during a movie and such. With this, I could rip a sooper toot or two and clear the area.
P.S. Some say that my pet monkey has this as a superpower... I say they should stop feeding him Mexican food.

Yes.. thats another power I do not wish to have, if it is always on.

I would not want the superpower to actually "become" my character in game and have my sex life limited to ERP in Pocket D or inappropriately timed emotes. Though I would kinda like only having to sleep during server maintenance...

Wolverine's claws sans regenerative ability. I think we've all seen that vid. No thank you.
The Mystery Men provides plenty as well, though I'll add my vote to the Spleen. Though in truth it could be quite funny. Say, your about to be let go from your job and feeling just a bit bitter. Let one loose in your boss's office and close the door on your way out. Or, better yet, make your way to the main vent shaft after eating a refried bean burrito and go to town!
Okay here is a weird one: I would not like to have Forge's power. Why? Because he makes all these wonderful gadgets but has no real understanding how he does it. I'd really, really, really hate that. At least Mr. Fantastic understands the stuff he makes and can share his knowledge with others.

I think the idea here is which GOOD powers you wouldn't want to have. Saying you wouldn't want to have the powers of Chuck Guyrich, whose legs break every time he tastes waffles, is kind of cheating.
Issue 16 made me feel like this.
