I guess not. I've come to terms that the game I've spent 5 years of my life playing is about be gone. I will miss it (greatly), but even if it was re-instated, it will not be the same.
If the game is in other hands then NcSoft, then maybe.
If most of the Devs that was layed off returned, most likely.

But in NcSoft hands, no. I have no confidence in them. So the money that Ncsoft would have gained in monthly subscription, went to Chris Roberts "Star Citizen".
This way I get a game I want (ok about 2 years until it gets here, but it will come), made by Developers I know can deliver, funded primarily by the playerbase (Crowdfunding) and not coorporations.

And its still not too late to pledge (They gave a grace period, due to internet problems (too many clicked refresh or was on the page to pledge )
I'm looking forward to once again play a game like Wing Commander and Freelancer, cause thats what Star Citizen will be.

@Anti Proton. Sad part is, When ever I see "Big Bang Theory" and they enter the comic shop... there is a poster for City of Heroes there....

I kept checking each day and as we did get closer and closer to the "end" of the pledgetime it was crazy. Each hour was around 20k++
It got so crazy that a lot of pledgers was unable to pledge and the team extended the period so they should not be left out.
(So still possible to pledge)

If you have not heard about this game (that now is in the works) well about time you hear about it.

It has been a campaign now of Pledges (Crowdfunding and kickstarter) to get money to start the project.
2 Million dollars was the minimum, 4 was optimum, 5 million was a hope and 6 million dollars was the dream. We reached 6,2 million and still money ticks in.
Ok the game won't be playable yet... think about 2 years, but YEAY!
A victory for gamers, since such a project would not have been backed by big game companies.
Now however it will be a reality, thanks to the gamers that pledged their money for a game they would love to play.
Its still possible to pledge.

Just thought I'd mention it to you.

Still here, not much in-game as I used too, but I want to remain here until the lights go out.

Before the message of doom came I would have tried Gw2 and my friends would have done so too. Even the other game ncsoft has in the works would have been bought and tested.
However anything Ncsoft offers does not tempt me anymore. Having CoH (always) in the background that I could play and enjoy was important to me and I will miss it.
I may miss out on some fun, (that I am aware of,) but support is shown by the wallet and I will not give anymore to Ncsoft.
They still have not refunded me for my bought gametime. (feb 2013... I bought as usual 6 month a time.)

Nothing yet, still waiting.

Did get news of the victory (in a almost brainzzz condition) and I was happy (still am). A big thanks to all the vibes that I did get.

Special thanks to Soul Storm that took the helm of leadership and Hana Li that passed things on (and briefed people on what to do etc).
I do not know the full list of what everyone did, but I want to thank everyone that participated on the raid.
I'm very delighted that there was many players who yesterday got their first battle with Hamidon.

From the posts, it seems it was a very good raid and community lift.
I'm going to look forward to those videos and eventual other pictures.
