Since I can't set foot in the proper Galaxy City; I'll be standing under the statue in Atlas where I began my beta journey with Tyger on Union.
I will watch the sun rise out of my window as the sun sets for the last time in the City.
And I will mourn the loss of a companion of nearly 9 years tainted with the last chat I will see: "You have been forcibly disconnected from the server"

The server where it began for me
Night Ward.
Will be fighting some villains then switch to the other side with the same toon and fight some heros. When the lights go out, a hero will fall, and a rogue will remove her helmet. She will look towards the sky, and let the breeze hit her face as she close her eyes and remember all the beings that have fallen to her sword, the good ones, the evil ones, and the ones in between. After a moment of silence, she will severe the head of her last victim and fly into the night for the last time in Paragon City before going home to remove the blood stain from her chipped, dented, burnt, acid worn, armor and put it awy for the last time and ponder how is she going to cope with being a normal being without getting the urge to take trophy heads and burning the flesh of people she come across. She'll miss the taste of fresh blood, the smell of charred flesh, the screams of agony as she chop a magic throwing villain to bits, the sound of bone splintering as her sword hits it, the twisted look of horror as she takes their lives and parade's their bloodied cape around the city. But she knows that everything that has a beginning has an end and the end is a new beginning. Off to another city she heard about that have plenty of heroes and plenty of villians to kill. It will be a long flight especially carrying her trophies to remind her of her first home and the good times there.

My first toon, Heat Guard, on my home server, Pinn, in Atlas either ontop of city hall or by Ms. Liberty, talking on the 3 main global channels I always have up.
Thanks to everyone that helped make me a welcomed part of the community, and for giving me over 3 years of some of the best gaming I've been able to take part in. May the next game bring many friendships and maybe reconnect to some old CoH friends.

Either sat on the KDE desktop because I can't be arsed spending a week to get the game running for just a few days or playing Black Ops 2.

The reamaining 24 or so, of Red-Sector.inc guild plan to get together in our base for that last hour or so.

I've said it elsewhere, but... what they hey.
I've taken off the 30th. I will start playin' after work on the 29th, and NOT STOP until they kick me out Dec 1, 2a CST.
I still have some ways to go with Chillsea, my only ever Blaster that's going to make it to 50, come hell or high water, and then when she's Dinged and Celetrained at Ms. Liberty, I'll be running whatever floats my boat. She'll be my 8th ever 50, which pales in comparison to some, but... 1 per year, I'm ok with that.
But the last couple of hours will probably be spent doing what Heat's gonna do, in that I'll be chattin' on PinnBadges or whatever other channel I might have up. During that, I'll be running around EVERY ZONE you can without being instanced, Blue, Red, and Gold, with Brawling Humiliator, terrorizing every single thing he can put his might Brawl of Win upon their face. Over and over. Until they expir...er, are defeated.
I dunno how long that'll take. I don't even know which zone he'll wind up being in when The Dreaded Event happens... but I do know that I am seriously hoping that he is in midswing to defeat a +2 Boss when it happens.
Not that the game will stop in midswing, but *I'll* know it was in midswing....
That's the Plan. It will happen. I don't take days off to miss a Plan.

I'll be on Virtue, hanging out with my husband and friends and SG-mates. We will just have made it back to the States after his transPacific move.
As for which character, it is a tough call. I'd like to be there on the Shrike, my first MMO character ever. But I will likely be logged in on PinUp Girl so she can be with her husband as the lights go out.

Since i got multiple accounts, i will be around at several places.
I will go back to my EU roots, Defiant, my US side Freedom and back to the place where it all began, to the very first character ever created.
But timezone might be the worst part of the story, as the server will shutdown US timebased, maybe i'll be asleep already at the time it really shut down. Just hoping to wake up the next morning and seeing it was all just a bad dream.

I work graveyard shift, so I will undoubtedly be at work (and possibly on the forums assuming they last as long as the game). I may not even log into the game again.
