Whose Heroes will fall when Going Rogue comes out?
The one hero I was planning to move to the Rogue Isles suddenly became SG leader by default after some leader, who is also a defender of mine, was absent, too long. Would that be bad if the SG leader switched sides?
Triumphant Defenders Forever
Psylenz FF/Psi, ArticQuark Storm/Rad, Symon BarSisyphus Bots/psn, Max VanSydow Thugs/Dk, Cyclone Symon Bots/stm, Blue Loki Ice/Cd, Widow 46526
HelinCarnate:OMG it is so terrible. I have the option to take 3 more powers but no additional slots. Boo F'ing hoo.
None of my heroes will fall from grace. But every....single....one of my villains (and they are by far more plentiful) will all be redeemed. I used to think it was the Red Side itself that I loved so much more than Blue. Then I realized it's not the Red Side content at all, it's the AT's themselves.
Of course, my favorite AT is Dominator, and we all know how unfriendly the Red Side content becomes toward them at higher levels. That's probably affecting my perceptions a wee bit.
I might take one of my characters all the way from hero to rogue. Other than that, though, most of my heroes belong in Paragon, RP-wise.
Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.
I had plans to take a few Heroes into villain-side, just because I'm comfortable with their archetypes and playstyle. However, after hearing about being auto-kicked from the SG upon switching, well, I'm rethinking it now. Some of these characters have a significant Prestige count and I rather not wipe their "scores". I didn't want to incure additional Set IO expenses, but I may have to make up clones.
Teams are the number one killer of soloists.
None of my Heroes will be... at this time.
My main, Maestro Mavius, will be recreated as his Preatorian counter-part though. Same basic look starting out, same powers. But circumstances will alter him and ultimately turn him evil!
Man, I can't wait to get all energy blastery on the Isles!!
I have 1 brute that will be redeemed and 1 brute that will probably top out at Rogue. Otherwise it'll be all new creations. Including my Heroic Robotic MM!
Maestro Mavius - Infinity
Capt. Biohazrd - PCSAR
Talsor Tech - Talsorian Guard
Keep Calm & Chive On!
None of my heroes will turn in any degree to the dark side. But I will be rolling a couple of heroic Masterminds for sure.
There is some trouble with some of the power sets being "heroic," though. I took a look at /Traps, but the Tier 9 is blowing one of your minions to kingdom come to take out your foes... I am having some trouble figuring out any Heroic Way to push that detonator, so /Traps is a pass at the moment.
"How do you know you are on the side of good?" a Paragon citizen asked him. "How can we even know what is 'good'?"
"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."
My Peacebringer was never good to begin with. Now he can just be himself.

I have already picked one hero and one villain who will toy with swapping sides. However, as you're asking about fallen heroes:
Anathema, my AR/En Blaster is a survivor of Dr Vahzilok's organ harvest and has always been a little too dark for Blueside. So once GR hits, she'll become more extreme, to the point where arresting the bad guys isn't going to be enough for her.

One of my characters, sea-anemone may go undercover to infiltrate and rob mako's secrets, but she is beating it back heroside after she has nicked the ppp. She is sea themed, and wants to throw some sharks. I think like a lot of older players, i made my current crop with their alignments "baked into" them, so switching would be contrary to their origins. I have a few (in my opinion) interesting rp reasons for some going gray, but full switches, that would go agianst fundamental aspects i already have set on my characters.
I have Voidmaster, a Warshade who is almost ready for GR. (Just want to finish Jenni Adair first) He will go full villain.
The Munitionist is an Assault Rifle/Devices Blaster who uses vigilante/terrorist tactics to fight crime. He will at least be a vigilante, maybe a villain.
Cursed Sorcerer... I have not decided whether he is staying loyal or switching...
to TO THE END!
Villains are those who dedicate their lives to causing mayhem. Villians are people from the planet Villia!
While I had made specific decisions before about who I was going to have do side-switching, I have decided to take a much more organic approach to things. My plan right now is to run the side-switching missions and then decide based on what each character would do within the specific scenario they find themselves in.
Some likely will become at least vigilantes, others might end up staying heroes just because the missions they happen to get aren't a situation where they'd consider crossing the line (ex. one of my heroes would be fairly likely to cross the line if things involved children, but crimes against property would not be enough to make them budge on their morality).
The only side-switching I know for sure will happen is my long neglected Bots/Traps MM (who dates from the launch of CoV and was retired before the level 41-50 content even came out) who was an operative from the future posing as a villain in order to get close to and stop the person who was going to cause their dark future. I stopped playing them at level 38 after I decided that exposing Uqua and keeping Arthur Bell alive were my mission. Since then I've tried rolling a heroic alt for the character multiple times with only limited success. Now I'll finally be able to bring them over to Blue Side as the hero they were always intended to be.
Its been a long wait, but its finally going to pay off.
Most of my characters are either neutral or heroic, and so they better fit in with Paragon than the Rogue Isles. Some of the RI missions make my skin crawl. I only rolled redside to be able to run SFs with some villainous buddies of mine, so I'll be leaving one my villains there to do that... alas, everyone else is heading into the blue.
The only reason I have more than one red character anyway is access to the ATs. Now that Praetoria will be giving me access to any AT I want who can be heroic from the start, I'll probably never run redside again.
There is some trouble with some of the power sets being "heroic," though. I took a look at /Traps, but the Tier 9 is blowing one of your minions to kingdom come to take out your foes... I am having some trouble figuring out any Heroic Way to push that detonator, so /Traps is a pass at the moment.

im moving all 6 of my heros to redside (only thing thats gonna be painful is taking 2 days per toon to move them over)
If anyone goes Redside, it's going to be my emp/psionic defender...In roleplay, she leans towards neutral chaotic anyway. And a bit of a rogue..she'll probably go there to muck about in affairs there a while. Then, when she's done, she'll probably come back to Blueside. (Gotta love chaotic toons anyway
I'll also have a dominator going blueside for Rp purposes..

I don't have that much art, but I do write stories and I do collect art on
my DA account
I love the red AT's, detest the red content. It just isn't for me.
GR gives me the ability to not only start playing new red AT's (thank you Praetoria) but will allow me to move what villains I do have heroside so they'll actually get played again. Markets (pre-merger news) and lower population (currently) red side had nothing to do with my mindset, I just cannot get into red content.
tl;dr - Short answer: Not me.
Losing faith in humanity, one person at a time.

I have a few toons that will do so, for totally opposite reasons:
My main, Dharke Spear, was a bad guy in his backstory, but liked beating up other bad guys so much, he became a good guy. It fits his backstory to fall in with his old crowd and get sucked into the life again. He may actually go all the way red;
His neices, Ms. Keyes and High Heeled Kicks, will fall from grace just enough to fight red-side, ostensibly to look for their uncle and bring him back into the fold.
I've been thinking about it, and I'm leveling up a Warshade to turn evil and into a full-blown Nictus.
Well I couldn't truly be The MFing Warshade if I wasn't at least a vigilante.
I've also got a PB who's probably going to fall, as well as my tank in his never ending quest for justice. It's the only way for him to get close enough to the man he's after.
I've also got a blaster who's more willing to shoot to kill than the law allows. "Look at it this way: Your boat has a hole in it and it's sinking. You can keep dumping buckets of water out all day long, or you can plug the damned hole."
Where to now?

Every single one of my heroes will be turning villain... and every single one of my villains will be turning hero...
... for a time...
In my tournament-style way of playing when my characters turn 50th level I focus them on getting badges and completing any content they missed on the way up. So... when they hit 50 each of them will quietly go to the opposite side long enough to get all the exploration, history, etc badges and run through all the Ouroboros missions before (just as quietly) going back to their original alignment.
It's on the schedule... in ink.
My mind wanders so often you've probably seen its picture on milk cartons. - Me... the first person version of the third person Steelclaw
My heroes are heroes to the core and will NEVER turn to the dark side, badges be damned. Though I have at least two villains who are going blue side. One who is young and followed the wrong crowd, but sees the error of her ways before it's too late; and another who is angry because of a misunderstanding but comes to learn the truth and seek redemption.
Most of my heroes are dyed in the wool heroes. They're simply not going to fall. At least not until something serious pops into my brain as a reason for it. I did have one hero who fell, but I did it the old fashioned way YEARS ago and rerolled her from fire/fire tank to fire/fire brute, which I enjoy playing more anyway. Now she's to the point in her development that I may turn around and redeem her - the pain and rage that caused her to fall is ebbing somewhat as she grows up. Going to be taking a hard look at the rest of my heroes and villains and see which side they really belong to.
