Whose Heroes will fall when Going Rogue comes out?

I don't really have any plan to let a Hero fall, at most my heroes will go Vigilante. I do have got some Villains who will go Rogue, and one who will go all the way around to Vigilante.

The Abrams is one of the most effective war machines on the planet. - R. Lee Ermy.

Q: How do you wreck an Abrams?

A: You crash into another one.

Due to badges a few heroes will go at least grey, maybe even to villains if that is required, and then they will go back to hero status.

I have a few in mind that could use going Grey, but not quite sure if they should fall or be totally redeemed.

Most of my heroes won't fall, they are too entrenched in their supergroups/communities to do so. Not sure which of my villains will be redeemed either, to be honest. I'm really going to need to see the badge/reward structure for switching sides first; as is, it seems easier to just start in Praetoria and go blueside with a Mastermind than it is to do all those missions with the side-switching.

Unless rewards are considerable, I'll just roll a new alt.

Actually it would be completely within a turncoat's character to invite an alt of his to the SG and promote him to SG leader before switching to the dark side... I say go for it!

We don' need no stinkin' signatures!

My one (and only) hero will be crossing over permanently.

I can't imagine I would want to make any of my villains into rogues, so I probably will never see Paragon City again.

Why would I leave Paragon for that hellhole?

All my villains are packed and have their pardon applications and letters of recommendations written.

The City of Heroes Community is a special one and I will always look fondly on my times arguing, discussing and playing with you all. Thanks and thanks to the developers for a special experience.

Yay! I finally got a villain to fully switch sides and become a hero on the beta server. (Darn bugs kept getting in my way.) Now I know I can get Nerima Girl to the hero side when Going Rogue goes live.

I would say now that my Ice/Energy blaster Shatterer Arare is most likely to switch from hero to villain. She was a merge of an ice-based hero and an energy-based villain in the first place, and her powersets are redundant with a couple of my other heroes.

That's still falling

The only part that really bothers me is Grandville. I think I may be able to get away with an Ouroboros path for my level 40 blaster, now that we can get XP in flashback missions.

Got 3 50 Heroes. My Peacebringer (who was my badger-and-get-all-the accolades-and-6-full-purple-sets Main for so long) will likely stay full hero. I'd considered taking her red-side since she was my 'completist' toon, ya know, get all possible missions & badges on the other, but after more thought, I just won't do it. She's a hero thru and thru.

Ditto for my 50 Tank.

My 50 Scrapper will go Vigilante and stay there

My 50 Brute, who has morphed into my new main, will go full blue, do everything possible blueside, then drift to one of the Neutral alignments, Vigilante or back around to Rogue. It'll be one or the other...just not sure which right now.

Why not? You have to do your mayhem missions somewhere!

Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.

My 50 Scrapper, Slickhawk, is destined to fall.

My new SoA is destined to redeem herself.

I don't have any heroes set to fall, at least not right now. I do hae a number of villains looking to go blue side though since the ATs fit better for what I wanted. Namely a Crab I designed as a Magical girl (Cause that mace screamed magical sceptre) and a Widow/ninja theme toon. I also had an axe/shield brute based on an old D&D NPC from one of my tabletop games as well as a stalker that I may actually just make a rogue.

Good point! Especially since my love of villainy is partly fuelled by my love of mayhem missions.

Let's just say I will probably never see the parts of Paragon City I can't vandalise again.

My Warshade, Gentlemandroid 2.0, is an obvious choice to descend all the way to villainy. Other than that, though, my heroes aren't going to slip any further than vigilante status. For example, my pistol-based blaster Gentlemanhunter would be comfortable doing mercenary work in the Rogue Isles.

On the whole, redemption and roguery are more interesting to me than villainy. I expect only one of my villains, the bots MM Technophant, to remain fully Red. The others already have anti-hero elements in their concepts, so the shift to Blue should be organic. Plus I'm intrigued by the gameplay potential for CoV archetypes in the CoH setting.
