If NCSoft did suddenly realize their mistake and allowed CoH to remain, I would hope a lot of people would stay to back up their professions of love for this game. Show them we meant what we said.

    I know I would stay.
  2. The only piece of art I have, done by Caemgen.

    Street-Knight vs Cold Flake.

  3. Like most folks here, I too would not mind the instructions. Also, however, I loved the image of Recluse, States, and Cole and was wondering if it would be possible to get a copy of that image. Lovely work.
  4. Captain_Iron

    Botched ritual.

Personally, while I haven't run the missions yet to get hit with that, part of my brain likes this idea. Just like how I love timed missions, it gives the feeling that there's actually some kind of consequence for failure. Not just "Whoops, I'll just run it again." kind of feeling. Sure, turning down the duration from 20 hours isn't bad, I'd still like a duration higher than 10-15 minutes, IMO

    But maybe I'm just crazy....
  5. So, there will eventually be another base orbiting Earth, but I have a few questions as I begin looking at ways to design the Sentinels of Freedom Lighthouse.

Namely it's the star fields I keep seeing. By the looks of it, they're designed by a combination of black wall banners, glass SG logo stands, and wall lights.

    1. Assuming I'm not missing a detail, are the Glass panels used the small, thinner ones?
    2. What size lights seem to work best? Large or small?
    3. Lastly, when using the lights, given the placement of items n the wall, do you tend to let the lights clip through the banners? Or set them forward a bit more to stand out?

I will be practicing, of course, to see if I can make a good star field. But I thought I'd grab a few pointers if possible.

    The more you know.....

  6. Trying to get my little basement SG off the ground, something like that would help (need 2 mill for the desired plot size alone )

Though putting it in the SG message for more than just Inf since it is a good cause

    @Baseload
  7. I'm sorry Developers.

but please keep your CCG Random Booster pack crap out of an MMO. I don't care how cheap it is, it's something I will never spend points on and I don't care for making exclusive content available on a random chance. Make that 'exclusive content' available in other forms though, and I've no worries.
  8. Well, I do always have the Kelldian Khitty Khat of Khaos; Cat-Star

The image was used originally for Caemgen's Art contest, so it has their toon as well in the shot.

Thanks for this sort of opportunity Caemgen. Might not have been able to get art without it.
  10. So, I guess since I have received my very first piece of fanart, I should start up some kind of thread should I get more (Folks are free to use my toons for practice art if you want)

Anywho, won this from Caemgen's Art Contest last month: My WM/WP Brute Street-Knight vs Cold Flake.

  11. Wow. O.O

Thanks alot Caemgen. The piece looks amazing!
  12. Oh, completely missed that rule.

    No problemo.
  13. After seeing this month's theme, this image and entry immediately came to mind.

    My Character: Cat Star
    Your Character: Gorm Diabhal
The Scene: In Faultline, near one of the many construction sites. The area is a disaster. Much of the site seems to be in ruins; barrels blown all over, a small construction shack falling to pieces, clouds of dust everywhere, even some iron girders out of place. Facing off at a slight distance, Cat Star and Gorm. They both look worn and slightly beaten, as if the fight had been going on for a while and the destruction around them is a result of it.

And in between them, the ultimate prize. The reason for this chaotic cat-astrophe...

    A fish-shaped squeaky toy.
  14. Not sure if it's just my machine, but I can't seem to get any better photos. However, the images can be zoomed in on in the Picasa album which helps to bring more detail to light.

As for the colors, it was always a back/grey combo. Perhaps just the lighting I snapped the pics under threw it off some.

If they still have problems with those images, let me know and I'll try and get a friend to take some for me.

Captain_Iron - If possible, could you take a couple more reference shots during daylight? I'm not sure but the artist may have a little bit of a hard time making out the details of the costume... Also, mind if I change the set up just a tad? I'm thinking the person she froze should be a little kid and she's standing there licking the ice cream cone she stole from him.
No problem. I'll grab some screen shots from an ICON store to get some different angles. As for the change in scene, no problems there

    And thanks alot!

    EDIT
Here's some shots from my Picasa Album:

    https://picasaweb.google.com/1120858...eat=directlink

All the base costume parts use the Overguard set (Boots, Pants, Gloves, Chest). The weapon is a Police Baton. The head uses a Noh mask for the face, Warrior Full mask for the lower mouth, Alpha for the visors, and Barbaric hair. The Cape is a half mantle with the Points design

If you need more, just let me know.
  16. Well, if I ever wanted a toon of mine as a subject for "Hot female heroes" thread/art, it would be Silindria. If she's chosen, I can provide other screens if needed.

    Silindria
    Archetype: Scrapper
    Primary: Fire Melee
    Secondary: Fire Aura
    Origin: Magic

A succubi from one of Hell's many planes, Silindria was an outcast from the day she was born. Infused with the goodness of a pure spirit that had somehow found its way to Hell, Silindria fled when she could no longer hid her good-half (Only half as she is a fully trained succubi). Fleeing to the surface world, she became a hero to the citizens of Paragon City and especially to the heroes who feel more like outcasts (Freaks, mutants, animals, oddities) opening up a hostel where they can find security and peace of mind.

We've made a compilation of the feedback you have all provided and are in the process of reviewing it with the art production team. While any changes or updates we make won't be present at launch, we will implement them as soon as it's possible to do so, much like we did with the Animal Pack.

Like many folks here Z, thanks for producing such a cool pack and taking the time to listen to the comments/critiques many of us have posted. If it's handled like the Beast pack was, hopefully we'll get to see these changes shortly after the pack itself goes live.

    Thanks again guys!
  18. Well, first off, nice work on alot of the details so far. I like much of what was done with the Steampunk pack. However, like many here, I've noticed a few things that might want to be looked into.

    1. I'm going to, right off, throw in my hat for Gender proliferation as well. While I agree with the idea of jackets being accessible by females, I would also like the same to be true about the Classic Steampunk 01 belt (The first one with the clock) accessible by males. Or possibly the little clock as a mod for, perhaps, the Retro Belt.

    2. It would be nice to see the hairstyle used with the female hat to be accessible on it's own. It's a very nice look and would do well alone as well as with the hat.

    3. While probably part of the whole 'Gender Proliferation' bit, I noticed the male Classic Steampunk boots are not accessible by females.

    4. Alot of people seem to hit the Jackets issue pretty well. So I'll refrain from repeating the same thing (Though I do agree with them)

    5. The Classic Steampunk Gloves for females seem to be single color only (Black + One choice). Why not dual color?

All-in-all though, not bad for what I've seen thusfar. Definitely got a customer for this here.
  19. So, I've gotten Launcher to recognize Test. However, when I try to start it up (After going through the whole repair download/check), I get this error:

    File: bin/clientmessages-en.bin
Last Author/Status:Perforce.cpp failed to connect to Perforce.

    Could not load bin/clientmessages-en.bin

Anyone ever see this before and know of a way to get this to work?

    Thanks for any help.
  20. Well, I'm no artist, but a Happy Birthday none the less from me and these Happy Ferrets

  21. I don't oft frequent the forums on VV, but I am trying to get more entries for my characters and SG. So, I figured a nice piece of art might look good on the entry as well.
  22. If this is ever happening again, sign me up.

    Oh, no worries

I was just making a joke.

Although...Sapphic, Fennian, and FenWolf all in swimsuits, walking past Street who's standing there (in a swimsuit, mask optional, though I suppose I'll need to upload a headshot) dumbfounded (snowcone dropped) as one of them winks his way (just messing with him). The other two giggling.

Now that would be a nice picture.
