Well played, Gohan... well played.

Had a fantastic time at the meet yesterday, so big thanks to Kall for making this happen! *hugs*

Sadly real life has to take priority today, but put me down for the next one.

I'm gutted I couldn't have been there to see that.

Dante, I'd take my hat off to you for showing the class you did there, but I'm scared someone might put underpants on my head if I did

And so I return home, shame faced and suitable humble, making a mental note never to open my big mouth on the forums again. That said, didn't I say I'd find some way to embarrass the hell out of myself at this meet?

Even so, I am overjoyed to know that there is still a marketing presence in the EU still and feel very reassured by some of the things that were discussed. I can also say that all of the good natured embarrassment was well worth it for the signed copy of the GR Complete Collection.

So thank you very much to Kallandra, EB and Gangrel for all their hard work and to everyone supporting the event from afar. It was an excellent time and I look forward to the next one.*

*No guarantees I'm going to do something stupid at the next one though. Sometimes I only open my mouth to change feet...

Just be glad you didn't say naked and that we couldn't find a bucket. But as Floaty said; fair play to you for being a man of your word (and be glad that winter decided to come early ).

I was in shock myself, not just that there IS still a marketing department but that the guy who came was a new hire!

Indeed, grand kudos to Kall for getting the ball rolling. I hope next year we can call it an Official Player Meet.

Since I left the GGA around 5:15 with just 27 views of the vid I've arrived home at 23:30 to find it's at 75.

You'll be an internet sensation in no time

Did you ever have one of those days when you just want to disappear under a rock for a bit?

If it makes you feel better there was an even more spectacular example of what you did not that long ago. A sportscaster in New Orleans said if the Saints made the superbowl he'd dance through the French quarter in a dress. This was many years ago and said sportscaster is no longer with us, but his promise was kept by his successor on the sports program ex Saints quarterback Bobby Hebert, and tens of thousands came to watch and join in.

Dante, didn't I tell you you were going to be internet famous?

But yes. Was a very fun couple of days and night. Serious credit to the guys running the place, they were good fun as well.

In your dreams, I'll still be there with all the days that never came.
And I'll be just a story.
That's ok, we're all stories in the end...

Well.. I am back to work.. finally managed to read up on the threat.

Saterday I stalked Mike with so many questions. But we need to be careful with him. It obviously takes about 2 years to find one capable (or willing) to do that job... hahaha... So lets not loose him.

Sunday: Ha... That will teach me to forget to lower my repp from +3/x8 when starting a Lord Recluse SF. But were still in there so it is possible to finish. It was great fun!!!

Stayed talking to CBeet and Maid of Gaia for the better part of sunday eve. Even made some local players enthiosiastic over COX. Went home monday morning. With goodies as reminder for the organisation work with Kall and the tf efforts (thanks for the complete Going Rogue edition signed by all devs... even though it is the US version).

It was a long trip back.. and a lot of money. But worth it all the way. Hope to meet you all (and many more) next time.

- Along Came a... Bug!? #528482
Average - A new race of aliens arrives on Earth. And Vanguard has you investigate them!

Advanced - Go back in time and witness the birth of a vampire. Follow her to key moments in her life in order to stop her! A story of intrigue, drama and horror! Blood & Violence... not recommend to solo!

I'll try and add a few more over the next few days.

Thank you all again for turning up

Not sure if someone mentioned this, but it needs to be pointed out because it was awesome.

NCsoft payed for everyone to play for the entire weekend.

Might not be a lot of money for a big company, but it meant a lot to me and everyone else I'm sure.

Cheers!

Hell's bells, I completely forgot to mention that.

Yes, a major thank you to NCSoft for footing the bill so the players didn't have to spend a dime on the place (aside from coke and Pringles). That really was an unexpected treat!

Indeed! Almighty thanks to NCSoft for doing this! Especially since I was broke as* all weekend. *phee-yew*!

PS: here are some photos we captured; first half is mainly me and family but second half has the guys in clicky here for album (44 pics)
