I remember someone in a team I was on summoning Amy Jonsson to help out in a particularly difficult mission. She turned up, and we all thought she was going to help..... and then she slaughtered the entire party.

Unless you have irrefutable proof that you could supply to these people, I'd suggest not doing this.
You can't just write to people with here say and rumour with regards to NCSoft employees, you would have to have 100% proof that you could cite at a moments notice to support your claims. The word 'slander' springs to mind. -
A lot of people probably know this one, but all the folks that went to the Omega Sektor player meet in Birmingham UK have an NPC with their name in the Shadow Shard

The guy by the manhole cover entrance/exit to Faultline in blue side Pocket D is now almost entirely sunk in to the floor. War Witch has also sunk up to her ankles in the floor. Most disconcerting!

Email NCSoft support and explain your situation and ask for a refund. If they say they won't refund you, then go to the bank.

A word to my fellow heroes: while reading this announcement initially depressed me as well, I urge you to not give up the fight for the below reason:
you are being offered a refund and not some play time on other NCSoft games like what happened when Tabula Rasa was put to death. What does it mean ?
- either that the folks at Paragon Studios are even more awesome than we knew and fought for this (possible, but I'd rather contemplate the other alternative)
- or that there is a possibility that the game will continue to exist under a different banner than the NCSoft one.
Of course, this is just a possibility and/or the denial phase of grief speaking:but that's enough for me to continue the #savecoh campaign.
I urge you to do the same. If everything fails and the game does disappear, then it will be time to explore other solutions ...

From everyone at NCsoft, wed like to thank you for the support and enthusiasm youve dedicated to Tabula Rasa over the last year.
So, as you can see, they *did* actually refund game time as well. If i remember correctly, the date listed was also the date that they were going to make the game free 2 play for all, so subscriptions not required. Unfortunately, the game went free before Christmas 2008, but i believe that they refunded accordingly. I am not 100% on this 2nd part, because i was running on gametime codes that were given to me by Avatea, so I didn't have an account that was eligible for refunding. -

Near to the hotel a lot of us were staying at, we discovered that Lusca - soon to be out of her job in Independence Port - had taken up a second job as a window display.

A huge thank you to Derek and Drew and Global Gaming in Birmingham for having us back again for our 3rd year.
Also, a big thank you to NCSoft/Paragon for supplying the contents of their cupboards so everyone had a goody bag to go home with, and Logitech for supplying the main prizes.
I shall put some of the pictures up when I've recovered from the weekend, as I'm a bit broken lol.

My 6 month sub went through on the 27th August. They've said they will be contacting VIP subbed players directly with information at some point, and to watch the website for any official updates. Which they'll put up as soon as they become available.

The EU Player meet is happening this Saturday in Birmingham, England, and she's the boss of that having been the person who's put it together.
The contest takes place at 10pm BST - so that might be slightly tricky given that some of us may be/have imbibing/ed (all of the above.)
However, there's also some value in having lots of pics of players playing as we have the cossie contest.

A few of us are meeting up in The Square Peg (Weatherspoons) on Corporation Street. Gangrel and I should be there around 4ish after dropping our stuff off at the hotel, and will be there for a while.
Between 8-9pm Gangrel and a few of the others will be heading down to Scruffy Murphy's (the rock pub near Global Gaming) for the rest of the night. I'll more than likely be back at the hotel playing online

I'm already running my 3rd annual CoH Unofficial UK Player meet this weekend (8-9th September), and was planning on doing a "CoH Player Reunion Meet" next year. Don't think I could cope with running another one a month after this one though :/
