Question for those subbed past Nov 30th...
I am subbed till Jan 30 I think. If Nov rolls around and we haven't found a way to save the game I will contact them. It is not much, but pushing for a refund would my last thumb in their eye.
As it stands, in Jan I would have subbed for another year. I bet I would have dropped several hundred dollars on Paragon points too.

I'm subbed to April or something, I think. I'm more curious about unspent paragon points... if those are non-refundable, can we at least get to spend them in the store? I understand the store is currently closed for all purchases. Seems to me they should only block purchasing more points - or, alternatively, refund the point value (personally, I'd rather be able to spend it on stuff )

My 6 month sub went through on the 27th August. They've said they will be contacting VIP subbed players directly with information at some point, and to watch the website for any official updates. Which they'll put up as soon as they become available.

I just bought the Nature powerset on the Paragon market. You should be able to buy if you have the points. I also got a couple costume pieces.

I am subbed until Feburary of next year, and if the game is still going I would have likely bought another year sub, and spent money on points. Would be nice to know what is gonna happen to my sub past Nov. 30.

in one of the numerous threads out there i believe someone got a response back from ncsoft about it, they said they would give refund equal to all unused paragon points as well as any sub time past nov 30
I'm paid through June of 2013 (due to the 12+2 option) and haven't heard anything. A ticket just generates an autoreply that says the same as the official announcement - "you will be contacted directly and watch the website".
it has gone from unconscionable to downright appalling that we have no way of measuring our characters' wetness.

Yeah,
I'm not sure where my subs are. Two accounts are on the 12+2, not sure about the other two for my family. I've heard nothing and am kinda hoping that they don't refund my money because then I can complain to the Better Business Bureau.

Mine is through 12/20 but as far as I can tell they haven't posted what we can expect so I am waiting (and hoping it doesn't end somehow/way).
total kick to the gut

Just checked -- I'm paid until Aug 30, 2013.

From an accounting standpoint any money they've already collected in subs minus the lingering costs of running the servers looks really good on their next quarter's balance sheet. IMO that's why the 90 days still running the servers. It temporarily fluffs their profits for the Q3 report, then after Nov 30 they can refund what's left on subs after that. Even if they do eventually give refunds prior to that date every day they've held onto sub money is days they could have done short term business loans/investing for free profit. It's the same trick that banks do with your deposits, governments do with withheld taxes and refunds, and comapnies do with surplus cash, etc.
We'll see if I'm right.

Have you heard anything at all from NCsoft about refunds? It seems to me that the company would be obliged to tell customers who have paid in advance what will happen when the service they've paid for no longer exists.
Personally I'm not expecting much or anything in the way of communication from NCsoft to the wider playerbase, but I am surprised that we're now well into this working week and there's been no follow up from them to those who've already paid.
