All being well I shall be catching a stupidly early train tomorrow morning to be with you. This is entirely dependent on whether my family is over the latest round of flu bug and I feel happy leaving them for the weekend.

Hopefully see you up there around 11ish. Have fun those who are going tonight.

I'm suggesting everyone gets to Global Gaming tomorrow (Saturday) for around 10am - so it gives you all a chance for a nice lie in after your travels etc

Not sure what establishment we're meeting at tonight yet, although it's been suggested either Scruffy Murphy's, The Square Peg or The Newt. I'll post more when I have details for those that will be coming (and txt those I have numbers for).

It looks like it's going to be Scruffy Murphy's for those wishing to meet up. I've not left the house in quite some time, so no idea of times for going to these places... I'll suggest 8pm? Gives folks time to settle in their respective hotels etc.. I've been told by Crimson Archer that it's an alternative/rock pub which usually has live bands upstairs, so we can always chat outside if it gets a little noisy...

If folks don't like it there we can always go around the corner to The Square Peg, which is a McPub/Wetherspoons...

Seffs is likely to be there around lunchtime, either getting in for 12 or 1. And may wander around looking for food/the place.

In your dreams, I'll still be there with all the days that never came.
And I'll be just a story.
That's ok, we're all stories in the end...

Hope everyone has a good day/weekend/trip up to the meet. Wish i could be there to wax people randomly, but unfortunately money issues will stop me from making it up.

Thank you We all wish you were here as well! I shall be taking lots of photos over the next couple of days Also, thank you sooooo much for the new forum titles for myself and Liz!

I popped in to Global Gaming earlier tonight and spoke with the staff and it's a really nice place, very welcoming and friendly too.

Thanks to Gohan661, Crimson Archer, CBeet, Ryrukin, Eleven, Liz, Chaos Womble for managing to make it to the meet up tonight. Sorry if anyone went to the pub and didn't see us there, we decided it was a little loud and too cold to stay outside so ended up going back to the hotel for a nice sit down and a drink.

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow around 10am... I'm afraid I didn't bring my box though, so I'll be the twitchy small person in the chair trying to hide behind my camera or laptop :P

Have just sorted new T-shirt for Shadowe (the old one was looking sadly unrecognisable), checked Pix T-shirt fits over the bump and packed the laptop.

Should be there by 10.30 - 11 ish, depending on traffic and parking etc.

Travel safely... there is a car park *directly* opposite the gaming cafe

So knackered. It's been a very long morning! Six hours journey to here, failed epically to catch my train, forked out a fortune for new tickets, even reserved the room and thought I'd already booked it, another payment. Then I forgot my monitor's power cable at home. Thank goodness the guy at NetAdventure was kind enough to let me borrow one, and wow Paragon Studios covering the cafe rental costs, amazing! Roughly £26 per person? 3 months of game subs refunded.

Had a walk through the famous Bullring Shopping Mall with Damsel and Miny earlier. Birmingham's such a beautiful place, town centre almost reminds me of Praetoria. Though nothing beats meeting all you guys in person. Finally a face to the personalities. Tyger! Gohan! Archer! Kall! Eric! Eleven! Dante! Adam! Shadowe, Beet, Ryrukin, Womble, AB, Archie Gremlin, Grouchybeast, Mr Mac & Missus, Orrery'd better watch his back too! ¬¬

*Epic Facepalm*

Yes yes yes, I admit it: I was wrong. However, I am very, very pleased to be proven wrong about this. And because I'm true to my word and seem to aiming for a record of doing something embarrassing at every player meet, the Underpants dance is now out there... somewhere. I hope never to see it again.

Still, can't complain. Paragon/NCSoft have been very generous and my jaws ache from laughing so much. So count me happy and humble.

And epically embarrassed...

Doing well Kall, thanks for organising this. Now I do believe I owe you a chocolate stick or two. See you at around 10am.

Please tell the guys we can finish the TF later. I went to bed after waiting so long. Told the missus to play for me or log off but I guess she didn't. EPIC fail!
