ripped off big!!!!
Im telling u that I had a bunch of really expensive sets.. orange lettered special sets. that were mixed up and slotted like sorrocco ( of course wrong spelling). all the Mako bite stuff. Orange handcuff looking enhancements. every thing i had was some type of special enhancement.. Did u ever see the purple enhancement that u can only use as 1 slot. I think its for a pet. check the black market. some of things cost 50 million a pop. this was one of my early toons that i used and didnt know what half the stuff meant was just trying to get bigger overall bonuses.. 168 million at least i should of gotten back... go to the black market recipes for enhancements are very very expensive. 50 SO's are for rookies...

before you leave, can i has your stuffs?
now, learn about the game before you make mistakes like this. it's as easy as coming here and asking a few questions.
Without additional commentary on the OP's state of mind (Yeah, I'm no fun), as I understand it, you get a set amount of inf back for your enhancement:
Synthetic Hamidon/Hamidon: 0
TO/DO/SO: Derived from table, about 2x the inf you get from a store/quartermaster of the appropriate origin
Common IO: Memorized crafting cost
Set IO: Just the full crafting cost, it doesn't matter how much you paid for the recipe, how purple or orange it is, it doesn't matter how many hours you sat at the door of the mission your friend farmed in to get the recipe.
Any questions?
If somebody you're arguing with goes off the deep end, don't follow.
total kick to the gut
This is like having Ra's Al Ghul show up at your birthday party.
Now then, kidengineer, we have enough to pick on with what the OP actually DID without inventing character flaws.
I mean, I'm sorry you destroyed hundreds of millions of inf, ryancowboy6. But it was an avoidable mistake.

You are in a maze of twisty little passages
You know I had a similar experience with my i17 respec but I did not complete the process.
Long story short, as I was down to my last 20 or so enhancements I am 99.9% sure I was missing some of my Touch of Death enhancements! Once I realized they had magically disappeared I quit the respec process. The possibility does exist though that my eyesight had momentarily failed me and I wasn't able to notice the enhancements there. I feel in my heart the enhancements had disappeared somehow but sometimes the heart is mistaken ;-*( |
I just tried to use i17 respec & it got buggy on me again. Here's how it happened: I was in the process of placing my ehancements in their proper slots. I was at the point where I still had 3 full lines of enhanements plus about 5 ehancements in the 4th line. As soon as I removed one of the remaing 5 ehancements, the 4th line collapsed to 3 lines. The 4 ehancements that were in the 4th line disappeared.
I'm not so much posting this for any players who will no doubt redicule me but if a redname happens to come across this thread, I may have found a bug.

Seriously, Mr. Shatner, there are enough legit things to complain about, but the devs can't fix stupid and/or greedy.

That was me... I was not mistaken about the AI. I've played this game a lot and know how it works, it just reminded me strongly of a few PUGs I've been on and their behavior. It was a joke that surprisingly few people caught.

Once it was explained, it was very funny.

I think it would have been clearer if you had not redacted the names Nosferatu and Burkholder in your story. Yes, I understand that someone (who got the joke) suggested you do that, and that was even funnier after i figured it all out. However I wasn't familiar enough with the TF in question to know what you were talking about.
Once it was explained, it was very funny. |
Whereas you, sir, are clearly an accomplished veteran player who understands exactly how the system works.

Now tell me the tale of Babe the Blue Ox.
OP: i can't promise to personally force myself to read your posts in their entirety, but if you have a question and post it here somebody (who most likely is not me) will take the time to translate it into something like English and answer it. That's what this section is for, after all.
Now just to repeat for the sake of clarity:
The inf you get when selling back IO's during a respec is based on what crafting the IO would cost.
Price of an IO on the market is set by what players are willing to pay and has nothing to do with what the game will give you for the IO.
If you want to get as much inf for an IO, salvage or recipe as it sells for on the market you have to sell it on the market. That rare salvage that goes for 2.5 million on the market? The game still only pays you 5,000 if you sell it at a store. Again, the market prices are set by the players and have nothing to do with what the game (anything that is not the market or another player) will pay you for something. The reverse is equally true.
Dr. Todt's theme.
i make stuff...

- Okay I figured out the problem. It seemed the 4th line of enhancements collapsed on itself once it was down to 5 or so enhancements. Prior to reaching this point I had placed 10 enhancements into the character holding tray. As soon as the 4th line collapsed I placed some of the enhancements from the tray back into the window which held the enhancements I had yet to place into powers.
The enhancements I thought I had lost were now within the remaining enhancements window.
So problem solved.
Thx to enrious2 for responding to my post.

About halfway through it, we're joined by these two morons; <Vampire Guy> and Col. <Military Man>. |
My bad for reading your post too late to get the original joke.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!
You actually think you're gonna get player driven market prices for your enhancements?
BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!
Ok so the bottom line is that I misread the total I was going to get back., and that I am possibly wetarded!!! And can u believe that unbreakable constraint is going for 80 million on the BM..
You are misunderstanding BIG TIME my friend.
You do not receive the sell value you see at the markets. You see, the prices at the markets are determined by THE PLAYERS, not the game. If you want to know how much the game will buy your enhancements back for you should visit either a generic store vendor(Longbow costume) or an origin's vendor.
