We all make mistakes like that.

Of course it is, it's an ultra rare enhancement; they're supposed to be hard to get and expensive. The hold set is actually cheap... for a purple set.

As an FYI, you would get much more favorable answers to your questions if you would use coherent sentences. As a general rule the playerbase of this game is more mature and doesn't have a lot of patience with incoherent and difficult to understand posting. Most of us had no idea what you were trying to say in your original post.

On a forum board the only thing we have to judge a person on is how they type; if you post in a clear, coherent manner then you are assumed to be an intelligent person. Your posts so far frankly don't give a favorable impression; this is why you've been getting unfavorable responses.

No. We wouldn't insult people who are differently abled by making that accusation. You have shown that you are capable of communicating in an intelligent fashion if you try, but you don't care about the impression you make on others. When you lack self respect and respect for others no one is going to show you any respect in return. They are going to talk down to you, and be condescending.

You get back what you put into your posts.

Every time you, the OP, post like that, what you're saying is that you value your time FAR higher than the total combined time of everyone reading your post.

In other words: I'm not your English teacher. They HAVE to read your stuff and they get PAID for it.

I'm glad to see that your posts are now easier to read. If you'd like an example of how quickly attitudes can change in regards to how a person presents his posts, I'd like to refer you to some of Power_NA's posts. In the beginning he'd make suggestion posts that were hard to read, and people made fun of them. Once he started making his posts easy to read people started complimenting him and taking his ideas more seriously even when they disagreed with him.

Posts like this are why people don't take you seriously. If you put a little effort into your post and brought it up to maybe a 5th grade level then you'd find people were more than willing to help you. I do have to admit it's better than your OP, but you've still a ways to go.

Most of us are more than willing to help anyone with a problem as long as they're coherent and moderately civil; I'm afraid you are neither. My 8 year old nephew can write coherently and many of his online friends don't realize how young he is.

If those prices are the fair value, that's what you should get back. If they're not the fair value, then something should be done about that.

He does. That way he could buy everything he wants for 1 inf, yet sell his stuff for hundreds of millions.

The devs should decide what the fair value is. The player market, if there must be such a horrid thing and it seems that there must, should be limited to reflect that value within a tolerance. Because no one should:

But with the player market the seller decides what he thinks is a fair price for the item based on the information available to him (last 5, bidders/sellers, rarity of the item, time of the month, colour of his underwear) and the buyer also decides what he thinks is a fair price to pay for said item based on the same info above (except for the colour of the sellers underwear obviously) and also based on how badly he wants it (NAO variable) and if the 2 prices are compatible everybody is happy. I fail to see how it's not fair.

It's been said before but it tends to not be understand by people who view the markets as evil.

The seller sets the *minimum* amount but the buyer sets the *maximum* amount.

The people who don't understand that fundamental fact tend to be people who whine about the markets the most.

So, in your opinion, the devs have a better idea what is 'fair' value for an item than the buyers themselves, who play the game everyday? Seems that you have a very poor understanding of how the market actually functions, and your referring to it as "a horrid thing" certainly betrays quite a bit of bias. Let me guess. You're bitter because you can't instantly purple out your warshade by playing a couple hours per month?

I second this observation. It may have changed in I17, but the last time I did a respec, I know it was working.

[edit] Of course, now that I have read the thread, this post basically says nothing, but there it is.

umm, that's stupid and you're stupid?

Seriously, the devs have built a fabulous feedback mechanism to tell them what the fair value is: Wentworth's. If you don't sell it at Wents you get a deliberately low price. (I don't have the quote handy, but I vaguely remember reading a Dev explanation that sellback prices for set IO's were low to encourage players to sell them on the market. Nobody saw the 2,000,000,000 inf IO coming. )

It seems the market prices of some IOs were a factor for increased merit costs for some IOs compared to other rare recipes...though of course I cant recall which right now. LoTG or Numina's unquie iirc

Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.

But, was it market cost? It could be the same the same factor that drives market costs up in the first place. The items are highly desirable, on just about any character.
