What are some of your "Project"s?

I used to see several pet projects in sigs, most commonly - getting every AT to level 50, and I don't as much anymore. I was wondering what pet projects aka in game goals everyone has. Whether it's common or uncommon.

I've got a few, though some have drifted a little by the wayside.

My Burnt Matchstick Project (in sig) is my goal to have a fire/fire (or similar, such as thermal or the upcoming demon summoning) of each AT to level 50. They all have the same name and a similar costume, and I've gotten them on most every server.

My Time Shifter Project, which has fallen by the wayside was my project to level 1-50 entirely by playing time-travel oriented arcs, mostly MA, but also any canon arc that would grant the "Entrusted with the Secret" badge.

My Aeon's Challenge Project, this one isn't exactly limited to one character, but I plan on playing and reviewing every AE arc submitted to the Aeon's Challenges.

Mine include:

** Finishing THE COURSE OF SUPERHERO ROMANCE 2 (and then starting and finishing Part 3)
** Editing my existing arcs, finishing the others I'm in the process of building (but had to wait because of missing maps or new MA features), and then doing trailers for all of them

And oddly enough, though it's NOT in my sig...

** Scripting and filming a full length feature film in CoH

finally getting around to publishing my 2 ae stories, playing my dual pistols corrupter, and io'ing out my second string characters, pretty much going at it gradually.

Well. where to start...Lets start here:

1. Create Bio's for all current toons and soon to be made ones. (not easy..but fun when i get down to it)
2.Get what toons i havent got at 50 to 50 (natuarlly)
3. Work on my badge hunting Dom. (402 i think and counting)
4.IO what toons i have at 50 inorder of the ones i'll most likely play often
5. Rebuild a couple of toons from the past
6.Begin work on my MA arc once bios are complete

7. and the most important one...Anarchy...Pure Epic Blood Lust Anarchy!!

Lately I've been spending my time building a roster of batman-level crazy prepared characters for whatever is needed for a team. So far this has produced:

A perma Mind dom for MoLRSF.
A Fire/Kin Corr for speed runs and just general TF'ing.
A melee Bane for general VEAT badassery.
A Bots/Pain MM for occasions that call for reliable heals.
I've also had a Rad/Rad Corr, a Sonic/Cold Corr, and an Undead/Traps MM in the 40s that I've since abandoned though. I'm planning to roll up a DP/Dark Corr and a Demon/Posion MM for GR to fill up those debuff roles.

I've also been softcapping my 50s. I hadn't plan to at first, but after your first it gets... addictive.

I'd like to try and make an arc for every Dr. Aeon MA Challenge (thougn I did missed out on the last one).

I'd like to write more arcs that makes people go WOW.

I work off-and-on on a certain Blaster of mine. Ultimately, he's going to be a super amazing healer. 3 copies of Call of the Sandman: Chance to Heal Self (in AoE sleeps), and 5 copies of Entropic Chaos: Chance to Heal Self (in ST blasts). Sonic/Ice/Cold. I could also do Sonic/Ice/Munitions, but I felt that Flash Freeze suited the character's theme more than Sleep Grenade (and Flash Freeze is available 3 levels earlier than Sleep Grenade). Almost half of his active powers have a chance to heal him

1) Badging with my Kat/SR Scrapper. He's just shy of 400 right now.

2) Making my MA arc. I stopped once I decided I didn't like the second mission and I need to remake it.

3) I have three characters I'm "working on" and actually trying to get to 50 instead of just playing them whenever I feel like it, which is what I do with the rest of my chars. They are Kaos Blak (32 Claws/Nin Stalker), Break Stuff (27 IIRC, Arachnos Huntsman), and Not a Nemesis Plot (4 AR/NRG Blaster)

4) Creating Not A Nemesis Plots other costumes. He's a Nemesis Automaton and he'll get a "Civilian" costume, three hero group costumes, and one Nemesis costume. I love the idea so much that I already made his Nemesis costume and have ideas for the first hero one.

Mine was collecting every pokem-- I mean pet. (MM pets don't count because you can give them orders, so they are extensions of yourself rather than actual "entities".)
I'm still missing gun drone and photon seekers, but I haven't had much time or desire to play.

I tend to jump from project to project. This Winter my project was to level up four different scrappers I was working on, three of which were MA/WP (don't ask why I did that). I got all four to 50, and promptly rolled a defender named "Sonic Girl Seven" whose back story was that she was a buffbot in an AE mission who had escaped into the real world.

I liked this concept so much that I created eight other buffbots -- six more defenders (Rad Girl One, Kin Girl Two, Dark Girl Four, Empathy Girl Five, Bubble Girl Six and Ice Girl Eight) and two Corruptors (Fire Girl Three and Pain Girl Nine). These would be my first two characters made specifically to cross over from one faction to the other, since I want all the buffbots together in the future. I also ran Valentine's Day missions for each of them to get the toga and sandals, made identical costumes for all, and leveled most of them up to 20 (my Empathy was already 20 before I converted her to this cause, and I have two who are still level 17).

Currently Sonic Girl is 42, and Ice Girl and Dark Girl are 35. Many levels were gained during DXP weekend.

In the process of doing all that, I completely failed on another planned project: to get one of my older defenders named Valentine Candy from 45 to 50 during Valentine's Day weekend.

But in the last week I played my broadsword / shield scrapper (the only scrapper I leveled to 50 this year that wasn't MA/WP) in order to gain access to Cimerora, run to ITFs so that I got the nictus shield and broadsword, and ran a ship raid so I could buy the Vanguard shield and sword. That was my project for the last week. ^_^

I started a new project yesterday; I created an electric/shield scrapper. She's 20 now, after gaining 5 levels this morning on a Synapse TF. She's a member of a friend's new SG which is very large (multi-SG with coalition channel). I plan to level this character to 50, but I may jump back to my defenders or jump to some other project first, who knows?

(My friend who invited my newest character to the SG they're in is running a similar multi-defender project, 9 as well I think, where every character is named Multiple Girl II. "At least you can tell which powers yours have based on the name," he said. Heh.)

My ongoing and slowly progressing "Projects"

1) Blueside badging (currently at 365).
1a) Get Field Fabricator on Blueside badge toon (currently at 26.34%).

2) Redside badging (currently at 330).
2a) Get Field Fabricator on Redside badge toon (currently at 49.06%).

3) Get an AT of every type to 50 (currently at 2: Scrapper and Dominator).

4) And the one I am least likely to achieve and most likely to get flamed for: Get rid of all the funky punctuation and intentional misspellings in my toons names by managing to get the names I actually wanted for them (current success rate: 0.0%).

-Collect every badge villain (and soon to be hero)-side on my Corrupter.
-Make all my AE arc ideas manifest.
-Actually level up my currents toons instead of making new ones >.>

Getting home so that I can play CoH again!

Seriously, I haven't played in the last few months, but being stuck in a hotel room all weekend with nothing to do... really made me miss playing the game again!

*Getting all of the redside-only (or more easily done redside) badges for my Brute before GR, while also farming for IOs to craft and drop into the VG bins.

*Leveling my BS/WP Scrapper to L50 so that if/when Anniversary Badges become account-wide I can delete his BS/Regen namesake and pretend the set never existed.

*Level and 'finish' other existing characters, notably a Widow(IO'ing 2 builds on the way), a Fire/Dev Robot, a Bots/FF and Fire Kinruptor who has hit the EB wall in the low 40's.

One of each AT to 50. (Almost there. Need to get my Corruptor - early 40s - and my Bane - at 49 - done.) (Edit: Bane's done now. Whew. Now for something I can have fun with.)

One of each Control set completed. (This isn't "to 50," necessarily - I don't see me getting Illusion up there, the set irritates me that much - but fully slotted primaries, sure.) Come to think of it, other than getting Phantasm slotted up a bit, I have this one mostly done. Fire's mid 30s (and as a fire/storm, a real END hog,) Illusion's early 30s.

One of each Tanker primary. Mostly so I get out of rolling more Fire/ tanks. Both lvl 50 tanks of mine are Fire/. I think my next highest is mid-20s, which is surprising given that I like the play style of a tank.

Finishing my Dark/Dark Defender. (Moved to Victory so I wouldn't forget it again.)

• To finish my AE arc in which is a tribute to the legends of Union [i do wonder if its the same list we all agreed on last year]
• Get a level 50 villain finally [currently level 40.2]
• Get to 1 billion influence by the time issue 17 goes live so i can host a day of EU multi server events.
• IF im able to get my new computer this week, then i want to get my main to finally be able to get all the taskforce badges [my current computer doesnt let me team for long periods ]

To do:
1. Finish the MA TF I've started twiddling on. (Smurfy I'm looking at ya)
2. Finish slotting my Emp defender (With purples etc).
3. Hosting Several Union Hamidon Raids.
4. Letting my Red Side badger get more of the badges she lacks (As well as letting my emp defender do the same).
5. I got to finish updating the UnionHandbook pages of my chars.
6. Write one or several MA Arcs that are heavily linked to my chars origin.
7. Could be good having a 50 of each AT.
8. Updating my excel sheet (grows each issue).
9. Writing Bios to more of my characters.
10. Since I've seen lot of artwork in the artwork section, get artwork for more then just one of my chars. (Can't draw a straight line)
