Hi there, I belive that a players overall AT choice, and even choices in the power sets they play, give a idea of what kind of player/person they are.

Without starting a debate, or heated argument over this chain of thinking, I find that many people are like minded, more then they would want to admit.

My current Roster for my characters consist of the following AT, Power Set Combonations, and Themes.(Leaving out names.)

Defender - Dark/Dark - level 35 - Atlantean Themed Costume, with Blue Hued Power Sets, giving it a Water Magic look.Iv recived alot of compliments on the theme.(Magic Origin)

Defender - Traps/Rad - level 24 - Full Robotic Themed Costume consisting of Cyborg, as well as a Blue hue to the armored plating and gears.Rad Blasts have been recolored to look "Brighter" and more Bluish with a green tint.(Tech Origin)

Controller - Earth/Sonic - level 26 - So far, not much on the Theme, but he is 8 foot tall.I tend to work in a Theme later if they make it past level 15.The name is always something I take serious consideration for, just in case I like the character. This ones a little difficult though.(Magic Origin)

Scrapper - Claws/Invln - level 23 - This one is my Vangaurd Themed Toon.I havent leveled it up enough to get the Vanguard costume parts yet, but its on the to do list.(Natural Origin)

Tanker - Fire/Fire - level 28 - This one is my half Cyborg, half Science experiment gone wrong character. He is a Lizard Cyborg with a tail, and the fire sets have been colored to match the old schooled green radiation of the Defender Rad sets.(Science Origin)

Blaster - AR/Dev - level 20 - This one is my Tech Geek, with some Cyborg Implants, and electron costume parts.Traditional old school Multi-Gun costume piece, and well, he is what he is.(Tech origin)

These are my mainly used for the moment, others I have been looking towards building, will come later.I have plenty of spots left.

Maybe this list is a bit to exsplainitory, but, its what makes game play fun for me.In short, the list is.

Dark/Dark - Defender
Traps/Rad - Defender
Earth/Sonic - Controller
Claws/Invln - Scrapper
Fire/Fire - Tanker
AR/Dev - Blaster

So whats your list comprise of?

You can give a short, to long list list I did.I find what people play interesting for the most part.I build mainly for theme, but its all in what you want.

So whatcha got?

Hmm... I know there are several people on the forums with well over a hundred characters. Getting a full list might take a while

I have a habit of creating 'linked' characters so when I make 1, I usually will make another soon after or have already thought out the group of characters to make.

lvl 31 Dark/Sonic Defender
lvl 30 FF/Energy Defender
lvl 31 Sonic/Psy Defender
[All of these are 1 character, a woman using different tech suits and color themes. They all have the same name but with different ending designations. It was actually fun trying to make a tech suit with different parts that fit the power theme. Only the FF uses real robotic parts mixed with medieval armor parts and helmet themes for alternate costume slots and uses 'force bubble boots' to super jump. The Sonic/Psy uses antennae, sleek body armor with half helmets and head auras and although she uses techkinesis to fly, she has tech wings to aid speed on one costume. The Dark uses metallic skulls, bones and horns colored in dark violets and black and uses teleporter technology bring conduits of the Netherworld to our realm as well as teleport herself at will]

lvl 39 MA/Shield Scrapper
lvl 32 Shield/DM Tanker
lvl 31 Stone/Shield Brute
[Separate characters with different themes. Embodying the aspects of Mind, Body and Spirit, I thought of the idea when Shields was in Beta. The Brute is 'body', big model dragon character that's a draconic necromancer with dragon, burned and bone wings;he summons dragon bone and using it as weapons. The Tanker is 'spirit', a slim yet tall male model with ram horns and monsterous hooves; he's of a race that manipulates 'spirit energy' to create shields and alter the foe's morale. The Scrapper is 'mind', a small male model that is made out to look like a spider monkey who is super intelligent and uses tech with a specialty on teleportation]

lvl 41 Sonic/Ice Blaster
lvl 28 Energy/Fire Blaster
lvl 34 Elec/EM Blaster
[My 'Megamen'. The Sonic blaster is a homage to Astroboy, Megaman and Zero in concept. None look like them but story-wise, he was a boy that was cryogenically frozen because of an incurable terminal disease who was ultimately fused with technology against his will to live then became a maverick to escape becoming a weapon. Story-wise, he's Astroboy, power-wise he uses a Sonic-muncher-arm-buster cannon and a cryobeam saber. The other 2 are reploids created to capture the first with their own costume theme (the energy/fire uses tech wings and looks like a bird, the elec/em looks like protoman but with different color)]

lvl 47 Kat/SR Scrapper
lvl 46 Spines/DA Stalker
[Long story but they are my main characters. They both trained together under a common teacher but one grew dark while the other strove to be a hero. The split paths although they still see eachother as friends. The Spines are suppose to be 'throwing knives' which is the only set that does this well besides Claws]

lvl 22 Fire/Storm Corr
lvl 42 Plant/Thorn Dom
lvl 24 Grav/Ice Dom
[I created the plant dom first, loved his costume so decided to make his older sister and mother. The corr is his sister and I remade her from an Storm/Elec defender to a Sonic/Storm corr to Fire which is why I never got a chance to lvl her up much. The Gravity is the mother. As a family, they are all mystic, being a weather nymph, a dryad boy and an archmage sorceress. The father was an elemental changeling but I deleted him when I figured it'd be a good point in their story to have him dead.]

lvl 35 Earth/Psy dom
lvl 42 Elec/Regen Stalker
lvl 44 DM/WP Stalker
lvl 16 Arch/Psy Blaster
lvl 33 Elec/Elec Brute
[The first 4 are members of a mercenary group called the Zoan Crew (because they're all half animals). The Elec Brute is the younger brother of the Elec stalker (and incidentally both are guardians/servants of the Fire/Storm corr above) and often does battle with the members of the ZC because their agenda is at odds with the above corr. They keep their work secret so she doesn't know one of her body guards works against her. The dom is a doe, the Elec's are cats, the DM stalker is a panda and the blaster is a mouse.]

Ever since I got my first villain and then first hero to 50 I've never been able to focus on any one character for any length of time. So, in an attempt to organise my roster, 3 weeks ago I started a new batch, of either unused concepts, or rerolls of my non-50s. So far I've started 34 new characters, across all ATs, and thematically linked (more or less) by server.

(It's just as well that I enjoy the low level game...)

Too many to list. I expect I'll end up using every powerset at least once, though since I pick powers to fit concepts some are getting a lot more use than others - 5 Claws and 4 each of Mind Control and Energy Blast. No single AT seems to be predominant yet, but I find Scrappers, Stalkers and Brutes are the most common 'fit' for my ideas, and Defenders, Controllers and Dominators the least common.

These are what I have that are on my home server (Liberty) I've just moved a bunch of unplayed characters over with free transfers to make room for new characters.

Blasters:
Psychocinder lvl 50 Fire/MM/Force
Klyx lvl 50 Ice/Elec/Elec
Mutant X-7 lvl 50 Nrg/EM/Force
Psychoshot lvl 44 Arch/MM/Force
Phoenixdown lvl 41 Fire/EM/Force

Exo-7 lvl 6 Rad/Ice
Radfyre lvl 4 Rad/Fire

Scrappers:
Ex-7 Elm/SD/Blaze
Clawfyre lvl 50 Claw/Fire/Dark
Splyce lvl 50 Claw/WP/Body

Fantom-X lvl 6 Kat/DA

Defenders:
Tryck lvl 28 TA/Dark
Shadow-Veil lvl 20 Dark/Psi
Kyd lvl 14 FF/Rad
Xasmras lvl 4 Dark/Ice

Tankers:
MX-7 lvl 50 SD/EM/Pyre

Livewyre lvl 34 Elm/Nin Stalker
Mind FX lvl 18 Mind/Nrg Dominator
Psychoshade lvl 13 Widow (Female)
Laxx lvl 10 Elm/SD Brute
Dartex lvl 6 Widow (Male)

I have a lvl mid 20s WS and a low 40s PB on different servers.

Anything that is below 20 is pretty much unplayed and was made a concept or something I wanted to try but stalled at a low level for one reason or another, most likely getting an idea for an alt that turned to be more fun. Anything under 10 was made just to see how a set looked (IE RAD blast with /fire and /ice to see what they looked like).

Active 50s:
Zero Defex: DP/MM//Mace Blaster
Mutant X-7: Fire/MM//Mace Blaster
Running my Kin/EA gloriously
Come on I21!!!

I've got mostly 50s, because I suffer from an obsessive kind of altosis (altisis is an inflammation of the alt): I don't leave characters to sit around; I get them to 50 before rolling another toon. I play exclusively blueside and try to maintain as balanced a stable as possible, so I have an even number of every AT before I focus on an AT again and never replay a power set (even across different ATs).

3 Scrappers - 50 Dm/Regen, 50 Kat/WP, 33 Fire/SD (my current project)
3 Tankers - 50 Fire/Ice, 50 Dark/Nrg, 50 Elec/Stone
3 Defenders - 50 Rad/Psi, 50 FF/Sonic, 50 Dark/Ice
2 Blasters - 50 Elec/Nrg, 50 Arch/MM
2 Controllers - 50 Earth/Kin, 50 Fire/Therm
2 Kheldians (of which I'm not going to be making another of thanks to having to replay the sets) - 50 WS, 50 PB

I only have 10 toons that matter

Fire/Radiation Controller
Radiation/Sonic Defender
Robotics/Traps Mastermind
Fire/Traps Corruptor

My four main and favorite toons, capable of taking down most AVs and GMs by themselves without using any temp powers or inspirations. Their adventures are well documented on the website linked in my signature

Fire/Mental Blaster
Fire/Psionic Dominator

My 'mid tier' toons, also capable of taking down AVs and GMs, as well as 8-man spawns, usually requiring strategic inspiration usage

Fiery/Shield Scrapper
SS/Electric Brute
Electric/Fiery Tanker
Dark/Ninjitsu Stalker

My foot soldiers, capable of destroying +4/x8 spawns of most enemy groups (with the exception of the Stalker, who is in turn a single target specialist able to take out most AVs with no temps/insps). Arachnos, Longbow and sometimes Carnies give the most trouble to these guys

Hmm, have to do it from memory as I can't log on to CoH right now. I've got enough that I'll probably forget some of the less played characters (or get their levels slightly wrong) - I've got a lot of them that haven't 'clicked' and so remain at low levels.

Victory server: this is where I started. Generally has older and less played characters, as I eventually shifted to guardian with some friends.

Storm/dark defender, level 32: Rather stereotypical elemental mage theme, robes and arcane designs, the works. Fun to play but neglected recently.

Ice/stone tank, level 4. Mountain golem theme, huge guy that looks like he's made out of ice covered rocks. The end result of experiments with ice/ice and will/stone tanks as I combined the sets I decided I liked. Never played, though, because I eventually decided that I would save stone melee (which I absolutely *love*) for an AT with better offensive capabilities.

Kat/will scrapper, level 5. Reroll of a kat/sr that I made as one of my first characters, as willpower fit better and was new at the time. Decided I didn't like the concept, though (or rather, that I was too embarrassed at my blatant ripoff of a certain sci-fi franchise).

Ma/sr scrapper, level 11ish. Started as the 'obligatory catgirl' joke character, but actually acquired itself a backstory and concept when I wasn't looking. I like the concept and the primary, but SR just doesn't cut it for me given my character budgets and the concept demands an evasive themed secondary. Will eventually be rerolled as a ma/nin when that gets ported to scrappers.

Ar/traps corr, level 15ish. My half of a duo with my brother that we decided we didn't like. If I ever need space, he'll get the axe.

Illusion/sonic controller, level 15ish. The new 'obligatory catgirl' joke character, backstory involves a mishap with quantum mechanics and a cat test subject (schrodinger's catgirl, anyone?). Fun and funny to play, but also neglected in favor of newer characters that grabbed my attention (and I'm having trouble coming up with a good costume).

Plant/storm controller, level 15ish. Nature spirit type concept, green and transparent. Fun, and I mean to get back to her someday, I swear.

Guardian server: I moved here with some friends when I discovered that the gaming community I was a part of had some who played CoH. Has most of my characters now. There's at least one more here that I'm forgetting, because I know the server is full.

FF/energy defender, level 50. Themed as a member of a tech-based support branch of longbow, with as close of a mimic costume as we could get. Part of a duo with my brother, whose character is represented as a member of a longbow sniper group (AR/energy blaster). Interesting story possibilities with these chars. Newer than most of my characters, but being part of an active duo he got much more playtime. Incredibly tough for a defender with his softcapped range defense + force bubble, and fun to play with all the knockback.

Electric/energy blaster, level 12ish. Originally created because I found the concept of sapping interesting, now abandoned since the power boost changes made PB+short circuit ineffective for draining. Would have been deleted except I'm using her to store level 30 pool C recipes my other characters have rolled.

Dark/psi defender, level 28. Same concept and theme as the storm/dark on victory (story-wise part of the same order of mages). Just as fun to play, just as good and strong sets, somewhat better at soloing thanks to /psi's good single target damage.

Earth/TA controller, level 28. Sand-toned tribal earth shaman type concept, uber-amazing lockdown potential mechanically. I decided I don't like the name, though, so been on the back burner. I will take advantage of the server transfers to rename her before they expire, but haven't gotten around to it yet (and also haven't decided on a new name).

Cold/ice defender, level 15ish. Remake of an ice/ice blaster, because cold/ looked interesting. Concept-wise a robot created by an evil organization, who developed sentience and escaped. The concept is interesting to me, but something never 'clicked' - possibly ice's anemic ST damage on defenders before level 28.

Shield/mace tank, level 16. Newest character, great fun so far. Backstory involves a prototype power armor suit, the brainwashing of its developer by arachnos, and the quest of his daughter to find him. The dad, if I ever made him, would probably be an energy blast/rad corruptor.

Elec/stone tank, level 14. Another attempt to use stone melee, may eventually be continued but at the moment I'm enjoying the shield/mace much more. Backstory is fun, though - miner who gained superpowers when he was caught in a cave-in when the electrically powered mining equipment exploded.

Triform warshade, level 32. Second-newest character, but leveled up quite fast because warshades are just that awesome. Well, that and having a backstory that I like - portal researcher in the 80s, caught in a portal malfunction when a rogue nictus accidentally disrupts their experiment, portal dumps them both in present-day paragon where they have to come to terms with what happened to them. Got a blue and grey costume theme going which I actually like a fair bit (costumes aren't usually my forte).

Fire/regen scrapper, level 15. Quite basic 'scientific experiment gone wrong' background, but decent, clean costume and fun powersets. Neglected for a long time but recently I've been back to him some, since power customization lets me make his regen powers orange.

Grav/storm controller, level 24. My oldest existing character, the second I ever made. Used to be on victory until the free character transfers came around. Has a fun 'absent-minded professor' theme going: 'I may forget your name, but I'll still kick your *** if you interrupt my research!'. Fun character, fun powersets, but hasn't ever gotten enough attention to really get up there in level.

Willpower/stone tank, level 15. The aforementioned will/stone experiment, shelved when I decided I didn't want to deal with willpower's difficulties holding aggro. Going to move him to victory to free up room on guardian.

Infinity server: The 'villain server' for my gaming community. I don't have nearly as many villains as I do heroes, but that's more due to the fact that I have so many discarded low level hero concepts.

Ice/ice dominator, level 50. My first 50, and my fastest leveling character ever. I've always liked ice sets on a thematic level, and then this character allowed me to discover the fact that dominators are my favorite AT ever. The concept is nothing special ('bad girl' who goes out into the world and kills stuff for fun), but it works for me, and it's the AT and powersets that really make this one fun anyway. Not perma, in fact only has frankenslotting, but I never saw permadom as being necessary anyway (even before the dominator changes, now it's even less needed than ever).

Mind/elec dom, level 16ish. Fun sets, funny concept (mathematician who divided by zero and broke the universe and his own mind), but never really got into him properly, mostly because at about that time I realized how awesome illusion would be on doms and it sorta took the luster off of him. I still want to make an illusion/energy dom whenever they port that set.

Bots/traps mastermind, level 12. The villain counterpart to my cold/ice defender above. For their second attempt, the evil organization went to a distributed intelligence so that each part could keep an eye on the others and keep them evil. It worked so well that the bot took off on its own as an independent villain (needless to say some workers lost their heads ). I like the concept, but masterminds, mechanically speaking, are just to fiddly for my tastes. I got tired of my bonehead pets relatively quickly.

Stone/fire brute, level 10ish. Relatively basic earth demon concept, here to smash stuff because it's fun. Reroll of an elec/fire brute, when I discovered how awesomely fun stone melee is. Concept is basic, but I like the costume and powersets - only thing keeping me from playing him is how much I dislike the fury mechanic. I'll still probably play him eventually since I love stone melee so much, but ideally he'd be a villainous scrapper.

...wow, I don't usually think about how many I've actually got. Funny thing is that there are at least that many again that I've never actually gotten around to making, often because the powerset combo doesn't exist yet.

Hmm, this could take a while to compile when i have the time.

Some of what i don't have will keep the list shorter.
Non-50 AT's: Tanker, Dom, Corruptor, MM and Blaster, but have some of each in the 40's.

Powersets not played past 30: Ninja, Kinetics, Fire Blast, Energy Assault, Energy Blast, Dual Blades, Poison.

Classic character concepts not used for any alts: Supernatural werewolf or vampire. (i do however have a 5th Column Vampyr themed Stalker who has sparkles with the mad scientist outfit.) X-Men style mutants. Descendant of a classical mythological god. Orphan driven by the death of his parents to hunt those he feels responsible. Last survivor of a superhuman race. Grim, humorless and wanksty (err, angsty) antihero. Hyper-evolved hivemind formed from a bacterial colony engineered to grow organic circuitry that took up residence in a tray of cole slaw in the research facility cafeteria when it was accidentally released, and then used its psychic powers to build a humanoid suit to house the sentient mass of cole slaw. Wait, i do have one of that last one.

Dr. Todt's theme.

Well let's see.... I started out on Justice server in Issue 3 as I recall. Didn't find enough people to team with at that time so I switched over to Virtue

I got 2 toons up to level 50 (Storm/Elec Defender and a Fire/Energy Blaster). I do themed servers too. Virtue is my Egyptian themed server and I have a few other toons there as well (all ATs).

In mid issue 5 I switched over the Freedom and joined a base raiding SG there. My toons there are all Norse themed. I have a level 50 Arch/Ice Blaster, 50 BS/Regen Scrapper, 50 Ice/emp controller, 50 FF/Psi Defender, 50 Earth/TA controller.

I got married around issue 7 and got the wife hooked on CoH. She started on Justice so I went back there again and we set up out own private family SG.

I've bought enough character slots on Justice that it's almost full now (room for 3 is all that's left there.) 8 of them are 50s most the rest are in the high 30s - low 40s.

I bought CoV when it first came out and got a brute and MM to 40 (it only went to 40 at release). Tried stalkers and deleted everyone of them. I tried several Doms but they just don't flow well and even after the revamp seem to lack ooomph at least until late game. I got the MM and the Brute up to 50 after the expansion but got bored quickly with villians and came back to blue side.

I've tried starting several villians since then but I'm so sick of snakes and the other low level content and the anemic market there that I just tend to stop early and drift back to blue.

All I have left of my villians is a level 38 Ice/Ice Dom on Freedom. A level 28 Dark/Dark Brute on Virtue (I liked their concepts) a level 26 Fire/Fire Dom on Justice that I made to compare with the Fire/Fire Dom I was running on Test during the revamp and a level 22 Ice/Earth Dom that I'm all ready starting to lose interest in.

I don't have any veats since I deleted my level 50 villians before they came out.

Most of what I find my self playing now is Blasters and Controllers. My main is an Energy/Energy Blapper that I started on Justice right before I switched over to Virtue.

I have 3 level 50 toons that are Test server natives and I have some level locked toons for merits on Infinity and Protector.

Eh, almost forgot. I have a handful of toons over on Triumph that we made when my daughter and her husband were still into CoH (the traitors switched to WoW). The wife still logs on to her toons over there every once in a while and plays after paying the base rent.

Well, since I suffer from altitis, I won't post any of my characters below level 4. Just the ones I usually play.

On Freedom:

Proto-Zero: Level 46 DB/EnA Stalker.
Smash Zone: Level 32 Inv/EM Tanker.
Thunderous Void: Level 22 Dark/Elec Defender.
[And the newly created] Lethal Trauma: Level 10 Claws/Elec Brute.

I don't have much on Virtue, having only recently decided to play there as well. Only two right now.

Spirit Flare: Level 14 Fire/Fire Scrapper.
Blood Snare: Level 6 AR/kin Corruptor.

I don't really tend towards a specific playstyle, I just play whatever seems cool to me. Most of my characters are concept characters that I create from inspiration. If you were to ask me which of these is most fun, I would have two answers. Solo, hands-down Proto-Zero. With all the powers from Dualblades and moderate IO's, unleashing combo-after-combo is just exhilarating. For team play, I would have to say my Tanker Smash Zone. Walking into a group of bad guys with Invincibility toggled and letting loose whirling hands is just so much fun.

Going down the roster:

Silas Banefire: SS/Fire brute
Darkstar Silas: Fire/Dark Corr
Penitente: Ice/Cold Corr
Lie: Fire/Sonic Corr
Radiokinesis: Rad/Kin Corr
Voices: Son/Rad Corr
Kingdom Red: Fire/Traps Corr
Nie Wieder Krieg: Elec/Therm Corr
Nie Wieder Las Vegas: Fire/Pain Corr
Skyshatter: Ice/Storm Corr
Discretion: Fortunata

All 50, IOd and accoladed, with the exception of the Fire/Pain who was recently rerolled from a Son/Pain to a Fire/Pain.

On the second page are characters I rarely play. Omnishred, my stripped Fire/Psi, Silas Midnight my DM/Nin stalker, Interdiction my Soldier, Heliostrike which is a EM/FA brute, Surrounded my DM/SD brute who will probably get the axe soon and Hard Six my Mind/elec Dom. Then my three surviving heroes:

Neuroblaze: Fire/MM Blaster
Hearthrall: Earth/Kin controller
Bonescythe: Spines/Regen scrapper.

I play almost exclusively redside and I uh, mostly play corruptors. The brute is mostly for farming/PLing and the Fort is basically a corruptor anyway Most of the characters on the second page don't get played more than once every month or two.

All of my characters are built both for theme and for performance. If a character is arguably the "best" for something but I can't get a theme/costume/idea that gels with me I'll go with something else. With a little creativity, (and Power Customisation certainly helps ), I've yet to have much trouble because of this.

I like getting the highest performance out of a character, but if I don't like the theme of a character it'll never get high enough for max performance to come into the equation

Well, my 50's are in my sig. Add a DM/SR brute to that list though.

Also have: Fire/Regen scrapper, Elec/WP brute, Spines/Fire scrapper (semi-retired), Dark/Kin corruptor, Fire/TA controller, Ill/FF controller, DM/Nin stalker, Thugs/Dark MM, Rad/MM blaster, Sonic/MM blaster, Ice/Elec blaster, Shield/SS tank, Shield/DM tank, Invuln/SS tank, DM/Invuln scrapper, Arch/EM blaster.

The list fluctuates from time to time as I delete and reroll characters, but generally if I get them above level 30 I keep them.

The only thing I don't have is a Dominator of any kind, just haven't found a powerset combination I like.

I also don't have any EATs currently, though I have space to make one if I decide to. Nothing against them, just too focused on other projects at the moment.

2 Kheldians (of which I'm not going to be making another of thanks to having to replay the sets) - 50 WS, 50 PB

I'm in the same boat with you. I pretty much only have 50s + one active lowbie at a time.

Current 50s:
7 Scrappers: Kat/Inv, MA/Regen, Spines/SR, MA/WP, Fire/SR, Spines/Fire, Elec/Shield
3 Controllers: Illu/Therm, Fire/Kin, Ice/Rad
4 Defenders: Sonic/Psy, Cold/Sonic, Storm/Arch, Dark/Rad
2 Tanks: Ice/SS, Shield/DM
3 Blasters: Ice/Ice, Fire/NRG, Ice/MM
1 Kheldian: PB
1 Corruptor: Fire/Pain
1 MM: Ninjas/Dark
1 VEAT: Fortunata

As for what I'm leveling currently; a lvl 25 Traps/Dark defender.

Two characters, 160+ characters, every AT, most powersets.
I build whatever comes to mind. Sometimes from saying "I haven't played that combo," sometimes from "This looks interesting," sometimes from a name or look, sometimes from a character idea (RP/story/etc) that comes to mind.

Ignoring the sub-20s that I tend to delete on a whim:

Defenders - 6
Hail Striker, 50 Storm/Archery
Kelenar, 50 Storm/Elec
Kai-Lian, 50 Dark/Elec
Qiao Huang, 50 Cold/Ice
Shatterware, 50 Rad/Rad
Rogue Arcanist, 33 Traps/Dark

Scrappers - 4
Kaelinia, 50 Katana/Dark
Blazeknight, 50 Fire/Shield
Dancing Phoenix, 44 DB/Fire
Erica Strauss, 39 MA/Regen

Brutes - 3
Aisha A., 50 Stone/EA
Sorrow-Weave, 50 Dark/Elec
Scrap Dragon, 24 Claws/WP

Dominators - 3
Liora Kate, 50 Earth/Fire
Freelance Rose, 39 Plant/Energy
Entropy Dagger, 33 Ice/Psi

Blasters - 3
Field Supervisor Orr, 38 Elec/Elec
An'chai, 35 Energy/Energy
Magatama, 21 Rad/Energy

Stalkers - 2
Silverbuilt, 33 Spines/Regen
Discount Ninja, 29 Ninja/Ninja

Masterminds - 1
Jessica Reid, 50 Thugs/Poison

VEATs - 1
Fortunata Roux, 32 Fortunata (duh)

I tend to roll alts and play them to 30-ish. At that point, there's about a 90% chance that I'll get bored and abandon them there and about a 10% chance that I'll push them straight on through to 50. I don't really tend to play Corruptors, Controllers, or Tanks. I don't really like how Corruptors play (particularly with the more solo-centric setup v-side), ATs without a direct damage pool bore me, and Tanks... just no.

Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.

Wow, you really want an answer to this? I hope so, because I just love answering them.

I have characters of all ATs, but I definately consider myself a concept player. I think I will follow Kelenar's lead and group them by AT, but I'll also try and give a short description of concept as well.

And for sanity's sake, and bandwidth, I'll try to limit it to my mains.

Defenders - 2
----------------
Jade Dragon, 50 Rad/FF - This is my main, his power consists of a field of vapor that surrounds his body.
Galendon, 16 TA/Arch - A brash, careless kid who loves adventure. "Skill based" hero. (Natural, no powers)
I also have several different alternate versions of JD, including a Sonic/Rad.

Tankers - 3
-------------
Blue Diamond, 38 Inv/SS - Jade Dragon's partner, he's your typical bad tempered brick type
Arladen, 23 Dark/Dual Blades - My original concept was a "sneaky Tanker", instead of being a main tank I envisioned him as an off-tank, appearing out of nowhere and grabbing aggro where needed. Originally he just had Stealth, but when Dark came out I rerolled.
Dragoncove, 23 Stone/Axe - This was the original Arladen, with stealth. When I rerolled him, I kept the character but changed his name and concept. He wields a magical axe (Arladen's scimitars were also magic) which gives him powers over stone.
For the longest time, I had no other Tankers but Blue Diamond. He was just so tough an act to follow, I thought I'd never create another one. Then, I came up with the idea for Arladen.

Scrappers - 2
--------------
Blood Wolf, 38 MA/SR - My "Batman clone". He doesn't fight criminals, though, but corruption, and even heroes can become corrupt. So he's actually a vigilante, if a hero goes bad, he'll hunt him down as well. Another "skill based" character.
R4-CHL, 35 Claws/Inv - Rachel is the partner of Alan Midnight, below. She is an AI from his time, and has a robot body in this time. She's actually a lot of fun to play, as she taunts male foes by flirting with them. My teammates seem to like that.

Blasters - 2
------------
Sandy, 42 Elec/Fire - Sandy is based on a character I wrote for a story. She is a cyborg, parts of her body replaced by machinery in a failed experiment. She is a very reluctant heroine, and hates fighting, but the machine side forces her to.
Alan Midnight, 35 AR/Dev - Alan is from the 26th century, and comes from a time where AIs and cybernetic implants are common. He's a throwback to the past, though, and in fact resembles a film noir detective, like Sam Spade.

Controllers - 2
---------------
Joe Everyman, 38 Illusion/Kin - Joe is a MAN build, so he has only four powers from his Primary/Secondary, and the rest are Pool attacks. He's actually quite powerful, though, as he does a lot of damage with Containment, and with PA and Decieve he pretty much has plenty of pets to back himself up. His concept is that he is just an ordinary guy who became fed up with the constant muggings. So he disguises himself as NPCs (each of his costumes looks like an NPC in the game) and strikes back when mugged.
Genie Gold, 33 Illusion/Rad - The partner of Jade Dragon and Blue Diamond. She is an archeologist, and didn't want to be a hero for a while, so she's still catching up to the other two. She has the ability to transform her body (although she's too afraid of making a mistake to do anything but minor changes) and can transform the air around her by touching it. So she makes shapes and illusions out of air.

Brutes - 2
-----------
Blue Diamond, 38 SS/Inv - This Blue Diamond is an alternate version of the "true" one. His version of Jade Dragon and Genie Gold were killed, and he had to go underground to escape his rival Silver Bolt. He ended up taking jobs as a theif to survive, but he will probably go hero with Going Rogue.
Loopy Loup Garou, 30 EM/WP - The Loopster is an ex-wrestler, and also a werewolf. He was framed by his bosses for using drugs to create his werewolf appearance, but he claims it's real. He's gone underground until he can clear his name.
Loopy also has a "Diva", a female version of himself. I love playing the character, as he uses catchphrases from wrestling, like "Can ya smell what the werewolf is cookin'?"

Masterminds - 3
----------------
The Hitwoman, 50 Thugs/Dark - I've kind of voluntarily generic'ed this character, as she was actually a tribute, and I'm not going to say to whom. But she is a devious manipulator who has a number of dumb thugs at her command. She's not at all shy about calling them dumb, either.
4L4N M1DN1T3, 38 Bots/Traps - An evil doppleganger from an alternate future of Alan Midnight's. He essentially hates all that Alan likes, and vice versa. His Bots are his AIs, the counterparts of Alan's Rachel.
Psycommando, 20? Mercs/Poison - This was the result of a random costume in the costume editor. He wears a soldier's camoflage, but in bright pastel colors, with a peace sign on his chest. He's insane, he believes he's spreading love and flowers, when he's actually blasting people. His mercs often make snide comments behind his back.
I also have a Ninja/FF Mastermind I will be taking hero side with Going Rogue, and until then I haven't played her.

Dominators - 2
---------------
Dragon Lord Morgon, 41 Mind/Fire - Morgon is a wizard, who in the middle ages took over the body of a dragon. He was imprisoned by the Circle of Thorns until the present day.
Silver Bolt, 37 Grav/Elec - Silver Bolt is the main rival of Jade Dragon and Blue Diamond. I have made several versions of him, including a Corruptor in the next section.

Corruptors - 2
---------------
Experiment OEBR1, 35 Dark/Dark - OEBR1 was originally created as a Defender back in Beta, and I played it to about level 20 or so. I then recreated it when CoV came out. It is a robot, powered by an occult power source. But there seems to be some sort of entity trapped in it, which feeds on human life force.
Silver Bolt, 35 Sonic/Elec - Another version of Silver Bolt, concentrating more on forming force fields with his electricity instead of cages. I like both versions, and in fact I may recreate either depending on if an Electric Buff/Debuff or Control set comes out.

Stalkers - 1
------------
Blood Wolf, 38 MA/Nin - The villain version of Blood Wolf, as he is a vigilante as I mentioned before. I will probably side switch both versions, as I like the capabilities of both the Scrapper and the Stalker for him. I also think Ninjitsu fits him much better than SR. (As he is not really "super" powered, as I said)

Kheldians - 2
--------------
Umbral Unredeemed, 30 Warshade - I will switch this character to be a Nictus, when GR comes out. He is trying to give the "good side" a try, bonding with a willing host, but he unwittingly chose a Skulls gangster as his host. So he will be corrupted back to the villain side.
Element Dog, 23? Peacebringer - Element Dog is actually the original character that was the teammate of Jade Dragon and Blue Diamond. I created Genie Gold because there was no option for dogs in the game. ED is a shapeshifter, though, and so Kheldian fit. He's not really a Kheldian, though.

Arachnos - 1
--------------
Arachnophelia, 24 Crab Spider - My first SoA, I envisioned her as a girl with a obsession with spiders, to the point where she decided she had to join Arachnos, to get the Crab Spider arms.

I suffer from altitis, so I have many characters spread out across five different servers. I'll list the ones that I've played recently and the ones that stick out because I like the concepts.

Katana/SR Scrapper (50)
Ninjas/Dark MM (50)
Arachnos Huntsman
Thugs/Dark MM
Claws/Nin Stalker
Grav/Earth Dom
Energy/Energy Brute (Waiting for GR so he can switch sides)
Claws/WP Brute
Mercs/Pain MM
Bots/Storm MM

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. I know I have:
plenty of MMs, Scrappers, Brutes, and Blasters
a few Tanks, Corrs, Soldiers, and Widows
1 Defender, PB, WS, Stalker, and Dom
0 Controllers

But I can't specifically remember what I have and where. I find myself creating multiples of the same AT and powersets because I forgot I had one already.

I've got every powerset but one, and some powersets more than one of. What may be odd about this account is that I have 5 VEATs.

He will honor his words; he will definitely carry out his actions. What he promises he will fulfill. He does not care about his bodily self, putting his life and death aside to come forward for another's troubled besiegement. I think it would be easier to say what I don't play. MM's and Controller's. I have one of each. Bots/Traps is 24 (tried thugs/poison and zombies/dark and deleted them about the same level) and an Ice/Storm troller (first and only troller). They are my last attempts at each AT. They will get to 50...someday because I want one 50 of everything.

Otherwise it's lots of Brutes and Corrs, I am also getting into Tanks(finally) with, I would say, at least 3 of everything else across 2 accounts mostly on 2 servers (Triumph and Champion) with 9 or 10 50's.

What I am more interested in is how the OP thinks choice of AT/build/theme relates to what kind of person/player someone is.

Half my 50's are Brutes but I play everything. I build for theme not min/max. So what does the OP think that says about me? Not trying to pick a fight. Just curious since he brought it up early on in his post.

The Revenants and Vengeance Imperium-Triumph, Champion & now flavoring Justice!

Tanker Tuesdays & Brutal Thursdays. If you like fun, look'em up!

Shhh! Rangle is plotting.

All of my characters are on Champion for the most part, with a few lowbies being the exceptions.

Jaded Razor - 50 Claws/Regen Scrapper
Jagged Razor - 34 Claws/Regen Stalker
These two are fairly similar in appearance to each, both Mutation origin. They were my first attempt at making a hero/nemesis duo, but I haven't quite got their back-stories fleshed out yet. The scrapper was my first character to get to 50.

Pyralis Blaze - 50 Fire/Fire Blaster
My second 50, and by far my favorite character to play. He is Technology origin, essentially a guy in a powered suit that can shoot flames, so character-wise, not a whole lot of depth there, but fun to play.

Selena Shockwave - 48 Empathy/Sonic Defender
Marlena Shockwave - 25 Sonic/Energy Blaster
Damien Shockwave - 6 Sonic/Pain Domination Corrupter
A family of mutants with Sonic powers, their secondary abilities (or primary, in Selena's case) correspond with their personalities, with the older sister Selena being empathic and caring, the younger sister Marlena being brash and impulsive, and their father Damien seeking revenge for his wife's death.

Serena Tempest - 44 Ice/Ice Tanker
Mutation origin, her powers manifested after a bad break-up with a former lover, after which she was convinced she wanted to end her life. She attempted to do so, but her powers prevented her from dying. Eventually, she came to accept her fate, but she still carries great pain.

Sonya Blaze - 45 Fire/Fire Brute
My first ever villain, she was actually created by my wife, along with a twin - Sanaa - which we used to duo a lot. She's Natural origin, due to my wife's preference for that particular origin, so I say that Sonya is a fire demon in the form of a human female to explain her powers.

Tabik - 42 Mind/Kinetics Controller
A character based on one of my Star Wars Galaxies characters, I tried to choose powersets that could be interpreted as Force-like. I'm not sure he works from that standpoint, but I have fun playing him.

I have lots of other characters besides these, but these are the ones that have more developed stories, or that I just tend to play a lot.
