    Patched last night and got an hour of gameplay this morning.

    Having not logged on for 34 days I missed CoH. Having an awesome time this morning is just gonna make me miss it more with the coming storm!

    Can someone post a link that will let me download the client?

    I recently restored my comp to factory settings. I went to my NCSoft account page and clicked on link to download client. The game shut down announcement pop'd up. Is it too late to DL CoH and enjoy the little bit of time left?

    I played DDO when it first came out for a couple months. It wasnt as good as CoH so i let my sub expire. Maybe a year ago i resubbed and found the game to have improved greatly.
    I play bards there, they were the closest i found to the support types this game does so well.
    It is an instanced hell... there is no travel...
    Id definitely say check out DDO.

    I think whats best for me is to take a break from the super hero genre like someone above suggested.

    Secret World and Diablo 3 will most likely get my playtime now. But i seriously dont think any game will hold my attention like this game did.

    City of Heroes did almost everything perfect. I never left because I never found anything better.
  6. Any plans for pvp? And any thoughts on Castle's changes?

    Were there any static groups you all ran in the office and if so what powersets did you all play?

    What powersets were dev's favorites?

  9. Im quite loving my db/ea scrap and have proposed this build.

    Help look through it and point out any improvements I could make.
    Ill probably go Agility for my Alpha slot instead of spiritual. Which means ill have a couple slots to pull out of my shields to improve other powers.

    As crappy as an attack as spring attack is, its for concept on this toon. I do understand that Using a guassians set in build up would probably be better damage but I want to stick with that. Id probably take taunt before build up on this toon anyways if i wanted to increase overall defense.

    With that said...

    If I only use 3 aegis/3miracles in true grit, where can I get an increase in my AoE defense?

    Also, my understanding of the rules of 5 is this. after 5 sets, set bonus's dont give their bonus. I see a couple +9 acc bonus's spread throughout multiple sets.
    If one set of IO's has (lets pretend)
    debt reduction as the 1st bonus,
    immobilize redux as the 2nd bonus,
    and +9% acc as the 3rd set bonus.

    another IO set has (lets pretend again)
    2.5% health increase.
    3% damage increase.
    +9% acc increase

    If I use 5 of the first set and then 5 of the second set I lose the +9% acc from the second set?

  15. I was under the impression that with higher dps toons the -resist worked out better and for lower dps toons the additional +dam tic was better.
    id imagine where the -res would be useful (AV fights) the -res would be heavily resisted.

    I could be completely off on this however.
  16. As good of an idea as this is, I see 2 flaws with it.

    1. What if I dont want to join a SG? Im left out of pvp?

    2. The mechanics of pvp are what stink in this game. Heal decay, travel suppression, native resists... Fix those "problems" and I think you'd have a much better go at PvP in this game again.

  18. Lvl 20 and above mobs drop tips. Im not sure if sharkhead is the appropriate lvl range, but id start there.
    Also, why go to Terra Volta? You can do this in Talos, which I find way more convenient for travel purposes for when they send you to Kings Row or Atlas.
  19. I think the best way to improve a PB is through buffage.
    Give me mez protection and a damage buff and Id be really happy.

    Either thermal or empathy would be my pick.
    for thaw/forge or cm/fort.

    I would think as either the /emp or /thermal Id want the most survivable primary.
    Maybe ill/ or mind/

    Id go with an ill/emp.

    The duo would be damn near invincible.
    There's no -regen to speak of, but maybe with the emp's buffs on the PB that would be enough compensation for you to take on AV's and such.

    Maybe YOU should organize an event or data-mine for the devs to get pvp changed.
  21. Id slot the armors with 4 pieces of imperviums.
    Maybe take Hasten at 49 for a greater burst recharge boost instead of a slot for a LotG +7.5

    I was thinkin that since dual pistols is out, now is the time for me to make the toon.

    Im stuck however on what AT/powersets to play.

    At first I thought that he'd be a blaster but the more I think about it he defended the human race. So maybe he should be a defender. Which leads to the question...

    I've RARELY seen him go down on either my dom or troller. I wouldn't waste the slots on +res procs on my builds.
