It would likely be difficult to justify any other set to go with it outside of Traps and Dev, so I say Traps/dp defender since I like Traps more.
too bad there isn't a fighting manipulation blaster secondary, or i'd say that for sure.
corbin is a bad-***, so i'd think blaster or maybe corruptor. DP/devices if you have to go theme, but we all know devices isn't great.
you could do energy or elec manipulation and color them as non intrusively as possible. the reason i say manipulation is that not only is he good with guns, but isn't bad at hand to hand either and could be RPed as special gloves or something for the residual effects.

You could also make him AR, and give him one of those fancy guns that Mr. Zorg created.
But yeah, as a secondary, I think it would be tough to justify anything but Devices or Traps, since there's no "piloting" secondary. He did leave a time bomb for his enemies, though, which would take some skill in this game.
Edit -> Thinking about it, though, he does seem more like a Blaster. I mean, he doesn't ever really take a shot, and his defense usually consisted of shooting the other guy first.

DP/Energy Blaster could at least blap a few people to simulate punching.

sonic/something.
So I guess the general consensus is either dp/nrg or traps/dp.
Either will work I guess.

I really like the movie The Fifth Element.
I want to make a tribute to Corbin Dallas.
I was thinkin that since dual pistols is out, now is the time for me to make the toon.
Im stuck however on what AT/powersets to play.
At first I thought that he'd be a blaster but the more I think about it he defended the human race. So maybe he should be a defender. Which leads to the question...
How would YOU make Corbin Dallas.
