Using this link I have ended up buying the american version XD

Average 1-3 and Strong don't look too bad with Braided Buns, but all other standard head shape settings give you varying amounts of bald patches.

When I first hear the whole Ninja Booster pack rumor I must confess I was far from thrilled. Then I saw Ninja run and the costume parts ingame and all I could say is "DO WANT ! ". Ninja run has to be the best superbooster power yet ! Thank you devs for making me spend money on useless stuff thats makes me giggle

Beware what lurks in the Shadows

Weird. I put Ninja Run on a character as soon as I logged on, and now I'm using the default animations for Super Strength instead of the alternate animations. I double checked at the Pocket D tailor, too.

edit: Hrm... maybe not. My other Shield and Willpower character is using the defaults too, even though they're set otherwise... meep.

Yes, it does suppress in PVP.

I did not mess with the cranium slider at all.

It suppresses like any other travel power, PVE or PVP. Great for travel, but Combat Jumping is much better while fighting.

Did you select one of the alternate face shapes?

I wish those were visible in game somewhere, but because of localization the actual emote name gets replaced.
You should get a UI Programmer on this. And by UI Programmer I mean Pohsyb. And by Pohsyb I mean that box back there that's suddenly moving away at the mention of the name "Pohsyb"

Face 10 is what I am using. It does it to all the faces though. Even when you make a new character.

The fact that I'm now picturing BAB looking over his shoulder at a strange box herkyjerkily sliding across the floor isn't helping me to stop laughing.

Be well, people of CoH.

Did you leave ninja run on with the Willpower character? Or is it always using default, even without ninja run on?

Shield out with Martial Arts is doing something like this too. With the shield out(defenses on), customized punches revert to default Martial Arts attacks.

First off, you guys rock hard core. I ADORE this pack. Bought it immediately and I haven't even had the chance to play with the costume pieces. Ninja Run is awesomesauce in a jar.

My travel powerless Arch/Dev Blaster BOOKs it across the land now. (Its build focuses on runspeed bonuses anywhere I can get them.) I mean, I was coming within 10mph slower than Flyspeed cap at 50, and now it's clocking 64mph with a few bonuses to go.

A bug I found:
My Shield/Fire tanker ran with his shield behind instead of in front. It looks odd and uncomfortable. (I think it may be the single sword position?) I only had his primary powers toggled on; I didn't have any attacks queued up which I suppose may have changed his stance. After seeing a screenshot earlier in this thread of a Shields Scrapper with the shield in front I was confused and thought I should post here in addition to the bug report filed. Also, he's a regular male body (not huge).

Can't wait to get some more free time to play with this pack. This dev team just keeps delivering!

I don't think this is a bug.

The weapon/shield carrying stance while running is determined by which nodes are being used by a weapon. If only one is in use, it will be carried to the back, not in front. If both are in use, one will be in the front, the other to the back.

Since you Shield/Fire only has one weapon (the shield), he'll carry it to the back. Pulling out one of the Fire Swords may change that, but since those are power effects and not "Custom Weapons," it may not change your character's running stance.

'better' is SO relative. I just ran a few missions on a well-IOed (enough to compensate for the End cost and still go full speed) Claws/Nin Stalker. Left Ninja Run on the whole time, tapping the space bar every so often in the fights just for fun.

Oh, yes. Good, good stuff.

Big thanks to the developers.

Please note: I wouldn't scream too loudly if it didn't suppress in PvE...

Yeah... but if they did that, then it really would give this power a benefit over existing travel powers (aside from the aforementioned not requiring a power choice), which would in turn give the people who are complaining about Ninja Run an actual reason to complain other than "I just don't like ninjas and/or how the power looks."

Ummmm.... Don't most people who have Combat Jumping also take Super Jump as their travel power since they opened up the Pool anyway? Because you do know that Super Jump and Combat Jumping are also mutually exclusive, right? Super Jump wasn't intended for use in combat, and if you do use it in combat, it suppresses. Well, Ninja Run is exactly the same, only, you don't need to take Super Jump now as your travel power, leaving you free to take some other power.

Yeah, I was hoping that there would be costume set that had all the pieces in one place.

Perhaps some of our costume horses can post in a separate thread a saved .costume file (using the code tags) that can be cut and pasted using notepad into our own .costume files so we can pull up all the pieces?

Or try pulling out a 'temp' weapon such as the Ghost Slayer Axe or the Crey Pistol.

For those wondering about the female braids causing the blad spot, here's how I dealt with it. I went in and made sure cranium sliders were as follows:

-left-hand (width): no higher than 45-50%
-middle (height): no higher than 25% - or even less!
-right hand (depth): no higher than 45-50%

Now of course these are only approximations. As you can see, the one you really have to worry about is the middle slider. The other two are mere suggestions, as I found that there was only a slight balding at the temples when I set the width slider to maximum.

And really, if this is the only problem this booster pack has, then that's really good.

Oh and BTW, Sapphire7, decaff.

When i said better i was referring to how the powers work, not their appearance. CJ is better numerically in that you gain far more advantages running CJ than NR when in combat. That is not relative. NR looks cool, but is mechanically inferior in combat. And that's even ignoring CJ's defense buff. Now when traveling i consider NR to be clearly superior to CJ, both in function and looks.
