Quote:^ Yep, lol.Likely due to the fact that he seldom posts anymore. He was too busy while going to school to post, and now that he's graduated and working on a game he won't have time to post much. Although he does find time to update Facebook a lot of late.
I do come in here and read the forums a lot, I just don't post as much as I used to. Gotta have something to do when the game is recompiling -

Better late then never! Happy Birthday man, hope you had a good one.

Gnooooome! Happy Birthday man! Enjoy the weekend and do something crazy. Just don't die >.>

Happy Birthday John :P
It was great meeting you and Bob at HeroCon. Sorry I didn't get a chance to say goodbye before I left. Party out this weekend! -
Quote:Texas for life! Wooo! Seriously, Ohio? Damn, that is sadActually, you should just start encouraging your fellow Canadian Justice players to attend as well.
There are more than just one or two of you. Of course, it seems rather discouraging to me that Team Ohio had as many members as Team Texas in attendance, and that's only if we count our Texan-currently-living-in-Florida-for-school Neutra. Actually, I'd forgotten one of the Team Ohio members since he kept getting lost on the way to the Justice gatherings, so Team Ohio had 5 members with Mortus Amicus and Team Texas only had 4 if we count Neutra.
Very sad. -
It was great seeing all of you again this year. Friday and Saturday were a freaking blast. I apologize that I didn't get to say goodbye to everyone before I left on Sunday. I thought I had mentioned that I wouldn't be around that day, so Saturday I tried to catch as many people as I could
Thanks so much to everyone that grats'ed (is that a word?) me on graduation and a few other things. It means a lot to hear you guys continue to encourage me to move forward.
I hope everyone made it home safe and I've already started seeing some of the pics from the con starting to pop up. I'm glad the one with Bob and Ron didn't turn out to be as scandalous as I thought it'd be, lol. -
Dear friends,
I apologize for my...uh.."absence" in the last...oh, two years? I know I haven't been playing much and those of you who have seen me online think it's an illusion, but, I am still alive and still playing and loving City of Heroes.
I finally finished my Bachelors of Game Development at Full Sail after a long, hard 21 months and it was the best experience of my life. I now have free time! And I'll def be around a lot more in the future now that things have settled down here in Orlando.
SO, on to my real announcements.
Yes, I will be at HeroCon for all those interested. I'm actually flying out this morning, the 22nd, to get there ahead of time. I'll be there alllll weekend long until Sunday at midday, at which time, I have to fly back home =/
RedGren: I will be at dinner and I will figure out how to get there without the help of Diamond Dragoon and maybe with the help of a sexy, Australian voiced GPS system.
Texas Justice: Sir, I don't need a ride from the airport, I've actually got one scheduled for today. It's called the hotel shuttle XD And I do have a ride to get around the area for the rest of the day today.
Talia: See you on Friday. It's awesome that you're making it out to HeroCon again this year.
Pohsyb: You. Me. Tetris. Bring it.
Sexy Jay: That thing, at the place, with the girls, and the people, and the oontz oontz? Yeah, I'll see you there.
BABs: Hope you can make it this year!
Missy: I don't think we're going to be on the same flight.
Braxx: See you soon man!
Manoa & Teh Boyfriend: Yet -another- event we get to spend together, lol.
Infallible: Dunno if you're going man, but I hope you are!
Kadmon: Happy Birthday brotha!
TA: Brother, I better see you around again!
Katfood: Stay sexy.
Arwen: Wooooo! HeroCon!
Plasma: Hope to see you again big guy. NO BOWLING >:0(
Everyone else I forget and who will hit me for not mentioning them when they see me: See you guys in San Jose! Hope you're ready to throw down even MORE than last year.
Take care all and everyone have a safe trip out there! -

No. All of the drinks tasted watered down at the D&B in Milipitas, including the Long Island Iced Tea.
The signature drinks were screwed up in how they were made as well as being rather weak.
For example, the Lethal Weapon is a layered shot served in a Hurricane glass shaped Shot glass. In Austin, not only did it take my breath away for a bit, it was beautiful as all get out in the layering. In California, there were no layers. At all. It was just the alcohols poured in together with no artistry. And it was weak as well as being ugly.
At that point, I stopped buying mixed drinks. I did have a few shots of Jager, but stuck mostly to water for the event.
I made up for it in Jager consumption at the after party. Until someone emptied my bottle that is.
Last year I planned a bit better, but I still have no clue what happened to my Jager bottle between the dining room and coming to in my room.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, back in Austin those shots made me lose the ability to talk afterwards because of how strong they were. CA def had watered down "buy more because it wasn't strong enough versions". I....was part of the reason your Jaeger was gone that year, and I do apologize for it again sir. That year got quite out of hand
As for last year, as I recall, you left the bottle in Ex's room after you walked out. You had it with you during the actual dinner and conference, but after you disappeared and reappeared you were holding onto it before actually setting it down and leaving it on the counter. Hope that helps some.
Fun Fact: Jagermeister is actually a medicinal product of sorts. It's probably why it messes you up so badly if you drink a lot of it. You're OD'ing on medicine. -

So, what you're saying is is that Jay isn't a cool as BABs?
I *so* hope Jay sees this one, maybe we can lure him into the Justice forum yet!
[/ QUOTE ]
No, no! Shhh! *covers your mouth* I didn't mean it like that at all. You don't understand, Jay's like a ninja. Once he finds out about this it's only a matter of time before he....

I can't remember if this falls around when I'm starting my masters or not, but I should be there again. Looking forward to seeing all of you

Aren't you supposed to be there ?? I mean if BaBs is there, doesn't that mean you will be there? Seeing as you two are one in the same?
(Some jokes just can't be allowed to die)
Damn screwed that one up... Was told Brax was/is/forever will be BaBs. Sorry Neut.. my mistake there.
[/ QUOTE ]
LoL, I got a good laugh out of this.
I am, in fact, not cool enough to be confused for BABs.
However, Jay on the other hand....just keep an eye out for a fedora this year. -

Wasn't it johnny frost? I was trying to think of that name ,it was hito that played him iirc.

Yeah! That's the one. Good memory.
And yeah, Dolly was epic to PvP with. I dunno what happened to her and her boyfriend (I forget what char he played) I haven't seen them on my global list in a while though. -

I didn't suggest that you were trolling or anything, don't get me wrong. But it's only so long before the clash of egos that is the Justice forums gets the better of the thread.

I'm going to Pinnacle! *takes booze with him*
Alright, but seriously, most popular? *whistle* I recognize almost all of the names being thrown out. Tic Toc, Kat and Thor's Assassin go way, WAY back. I almost always see them in game and on the boards posting somewhere. PvP wise, oh man, what was his name? The original Ice/EM blaster of Justice. Jonny something I think. Anyways, I know PositronBot and Black Scourge were huge presences on Justice back when PvP was big. Half the topics on the Justice boards were PvP related in those days.
Jack Zodiac pwns them all though -
No idea where they all went, but I remember almost everyone that everyone's been mentioning. Those were the days back then. I remember Black Scourge and the Bots going at it in SC. Good times.
-
Oh man, I'm going to have to sit this one out. I hardly have time to even play CoX anymore with the projects they have us doing in school now. I still want to help test the issue in Beta during my free time, but making a video would be way too time consuming >.< Good luck to ya though DR and everyone else that decides to make something!
-
Ohh, I know which ones you mean. I'd love to do one for Blasters, but I have no time at all >.< Someone else should def go for it though, they'd be fun to make.
-
Hey all, just dropping in to say that everyone's entry is awesome and that our video community as a whole is amazing. I unfortunately didn't get to enter the contest after all because of school. I have to create a 3D game by myself this month for my Structure of Game Design class and it's been an incredible amount of work. I just couldn't budget the time for the contest over the time I needed to make my models and code for my game
Hopefully there will be another contest sometime soon. I plan to finish the video I started for the contest at some point later on, but I'm not sure when that will be. Heck, I still have to finish my Boom De Yada vid
Best of luck to you all! -
I did all of the voices for my last video using Sound Forge and really liked how they came out. I'll probably be doing the same for the contest.
I've finished the storyboard for the entire thing and know what to do and I really like what I came up with. The few people I've presented the idea to thought it was pretty funnyNow all that's left is the fun part of putting it together.
After the contest is over I'm probably going to redo the whole thing by taking out all the voices and adding in the song track that I originally wanted to use when I first came up with the story idea. Honestly, I'm not sure how I would have gotten Juno Reactor to let me use the song in the first place even if they'd have let us use any song we wanted
Hope everyone is coming along well with their projects! -
