Nice Job, Devs.

I really like the new wrinkles added to the Halloween event. It's pretty cool!

Kudos!

I agree lots of fun. The lag is exceptional as well, luckily I have another computer to swtich to when I plan to take part in these events.

I blame the servers, not the Devs.
The EU servers are slowing getting more shot than a ski slope after Easter. Like, you can see the brown.

The event itself is nicely done, I think. New system and suchnot. The only letdown, I thought, was the lack of new models, something I commented on in Test.

That said, if its resources that are best spent on Going Rogue and stuff, it's no biggy. Maybe they can do that for next year =P
So yeah, pretty good job I'd say.

I really like the banners and the way they work. Hopefully once the badge-grab-fest is over, it'll be more fun to just do the zone events.

See, this event makes it very clear why the recurring "remove levels" suggestions are without merit. The Halloween critters feel like they're naturally level 50 (or at least level 30) and even though your attacks scale up to match their level, my lowbie Blaster's low-damage, ill-slotted attacks do precious little to them. I would have preferred to see at least the base spawns match the level of the zone they spawn in.

That aside, the event looks really, really cool. I like the idea and I LOVE the special nav bar interface. I haven't been able to actually partake in the event yet (too weak, can't find a team when I run across one), but from the looks of things, it looks like a novel, well-thought-out idea.

Based purely on outside-looking-in impressions, I'd say well done. Looks like fun.

I just hope we have future zone events that are similar to this one Doesnt require a large amount of players [helps lower populated servers] and is great fun!
The only downside i have to it is the GM that spawns from it, i was hoping for something a bit different and more difficult than what it was.

Though with that said, i do love the new addition to the event and is it just me or has the zombie raids become more . . . . . epic?

Was on the first one in atlas on union tuesday and well . . . . we was ALL suprised with the speed they were spawning and the sheer quantity of them. Though being carnage . . . . i frickin loved it

Fixt for you.

That's what I'm hoping is a new feature of Going Rogue.

Not really.

A raid on a timer. Definitely not my style. And I'm not fond of the beefed up ToT spawns. I much prefer the Halloween event we had two years ago.

(Disclaimer: This does not detract from my overall enjoyment of the game, which I'm still highly addicted to.)

The new event is definitely awesome. Love the mayhem of the mobs, the banners, the new badges. Great stuff overall, devs.

Hoping to see more outside activities in Going Rogue...

Really? What are the spawn rates for your server like? There seems to have been a LARGE increase in the mobs that spawn for a zombie invasion to actually make it a challenge again.

It's the period at the end of the thread title. Makes it seem sarcastic. To me, at least. *squints*

Poor long suffering BABs. Would it make you feel better if I let you win next time I run Crimson Revenant?

Seriously though, nice work on this. It's very cool, and a lot of fun.

This is my first Hallowe'en Event, and I'm really enjoying it.

If I have a negative comment to make, it's that the Greater Mystics are getting defeated before I can even get to their site. Some people are *very* inconsiderate of others!

Thanks for making my first Hallowe'en Event such a treat, Devs! (*huggles*)

Keep broadcasting that *everyone* can get the 2 Merits and the Reward Table by doing just one point of damage and being nearby when the GM is defeated. There is no need to do 10% or 25% of damage. Thus there is no penalty for waiting for everyone to get to the GM.

The Greater Mystic Aspect GM uses the Hamidon method of reward.

Babs, count me in with those who LOVE the new event. I've been jonesing for more trial-type content for a while, and this fits the bill perfectly. YOu've got to LEARN the encouter. Very, very awesome.

So... more in the future?

If It makes you feel better, I did the same.

And though I think the new event is fun... I kinda wish that the idea had been saved for some other Event, and repurposed. Halloween is getting a bit bloated with content.
