Yeah I dont like it for now. Sure I can put a picture for a signature, but the navigation is clunkier than the old version and there have been several times where it doesn not return to the right place, plus the backwards navigation is problematic. While I am sure they arent going back to the old one, I too feel I need to voice my opinion.
Oh yeah and I am with beefcake on that crappy grey background in relationto the Avatar.

Regarding the "back" button not remembering your place on the last page, what browser (including FULL VERSION) are you using?
For instance, I use Firefox 3.5.1 and it has no issues with this.

Someone, probably Zombie_Man, has a thread here that started as a makeshift Dev Tracker, but we found some problems with it but there is a solution in it that works. Somewhere.
I just went to my UserCP and my Contacts link, added each of the ones I want to track as Contacts (but did not send Friend requests) and when I need to see what they've said, I click their name there and then click the link for the posting activity.
It's a kludgy fix, but it works for me until they get the Dev Digest and Community Digest working right.
EDIT: It was Zombie_Man that started the post. It's already slid to the second page on my view of the forums.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

This auto logging out really makes me miss the old forums...and I think I liked the search function better there as well...

Well, the first thing I did was TURN THEM OFF so i dont have to deal with that clutter... Looks like it still uses the space where the ugly sigs would have been. So its your couple of line s of text followed by two inches of lovely gradient

The old ones didn't load correctly half the time or it took forever to post.

me either. It always seemed a bit of a shock when people said they were having problems. They worked great for me.

I opened up IE and those same threads and posts were marked as New.
Chalk another one up against Firefox.

Overall, new boards=better boards, though still unhappy about master account password being required to login into forums. There should be an option to have different password for the board, thats just dirt basic security

They are brokeded badly.
They are working on it, but haven't given us an estimated date of arrival for the new Digests.

I don't know if it's the new people on the forums or just the forums, but they have started to give me a headache. The old ones didn't.. Honestly, I got a headache about 15 minutes into posting and reading. Never happen before. I had to eat 2 Soma and 2 oxycodones and it is just starting to subside.
