Omg i am only saying that i wished there would have been at least some new colours to the blood widow powers, i never said the VEATs suck to play.
The spider powers are new and shiny no doubt.
Its just having a 50 mind/psi dom and a emp/psi defender and mind/rad troller, claws scrapper, making a new char using the same looking powers all over again makes widows less appealing.
Btw 2 disruptor bots are far away from beeing an army of bots, and the disruptor bots are far away beeing killers at least the patron versions :-)
And if they are on same recharge as the patron which i fear judging from the post saying : emergency power, they will be pretty much skippable.
How do you know that they only showed the boring powers? I saw some screenies of their other powers etc. from the closed beta and their secondary is a mix of leadership and other stuff, and all Wolf Spider's and their branchs get some sort of summon power. They're pretty unique if you ask me and take a look at some of the screenies but if you want something completely different then fine.
Btw, Kheld's powers are more-or-less the same as any shooty AT.. They just have different animations.

No, many of the powers will be the same as the NPC spiders. That's kind of the point.

They summon the same pet as black scorpion patron powers just 2 of them, so whats unique there ?
And for khelds just using different animation...............
thats all i want if you read my posts, no totally new powers ,just some change in animation so they look different from powers in game for 4 years now.
Like doms elec is red and not blue like the blaster version, or malaises illusion powers are black rather than white.
Well you can't really change the animation without changing the basics of the VEAT's powers or else they won't look Arachnosey

from a PvE PoV i dont think they are skipable the moves we saw them using are quiet powerful (well atleast in RV)
so yea you have used up your tollerance for mind/psi so playing a fortuana may not be as apealing to you... but what about us that have never touched it? none of my 50s have mind/psi in so i think i'll be happy (along with alot of others) infact the only one that has been done for me is mace tank so yea i prob wont do bane spider but crab spider R mine

Cause i am NOT judging how they will play, just how the powers look and you get a good impression of that by seeing at least 7 attacks from the fortunatas.
And for the part of waiting how things turn out...... history of CoX shows that once something went live it tends to stay that way or needs years to get adressed.

I have to agree with PRAF here too. I don't really understand how folks are calling the VEAT boring on the basis of a 4 min video.
Aside from that, and re-cycled powers/animations not withstanding, what made the hero epics new and fun for me was not the powers themselves, but rather the new arcs. Whole new storylines. In my opinion, that's what makes the epics.
