Say It With Fliers!
Eleven Longbow fliers were shot out of the skies in a war-zone yesterday evening in a story so bizarre that we at first thought it was a late April Fools prank.
A currently unidentified villain single-handedly disabled and destroyed eleven of Longbow's state of the art combat aircraft in the late evening. The attack ceased only when the heroine Luminescence appeared and confronted him.
Bizarrely, none of the pilots were injured, as the daring villain teleported directly to the cockpit of each flier, forcibly ejecting the pilot, and presenting each with a single red rose, and instructions to see the roses delivered to the heroine Luminescence.
The strange attack happened to aircraft patrolling a Longbow Carrier Command ship off the coast of Warburg. One after another, patrolling combat aircraft were attacked and disabled, their pilots dumped unharmed into the seas close to the Carrier.
Luminescence was not even on operations in the area, Longbow sources tell us, but only arrived after first reports of the events were broadcast on Channel 7 News.
By the time she arrived, 11 Airmen had been dragged from their aircraft, and 11 of the extremely valuable craft had been destroyed.
The events only get stranger as Luminescence arrived in a stunning bridal gown, according to several eye witnesses from the Longbow carrier.
"She was definitely dressed like she'd been called away from her own wedding to answer this challenge, or whatever it was" said Longbow Sergeant Janine Doyle. "Really lovely dress it was too"
Luminescence soared into the air from the ship and headed for the bizzare attacker, and no futher aircraft were lost. She pursued the villain around part of the coastline, where no witnesses were able to follow the encounter.
When a helicopter from Channel 7 News arrived some time later, the crew initially thought they saw the two figures sitting on the beach, but once within clear sight, found the heroine being thrown into the sea by the mysterious villain.
The villain was filmed in the closing stages of what must have been hours of battle by the helicopter crew, and fled Luminescence's counter attacks from the water. The villain has yet to be formally identified, but there is speculation that it is the radiation wielding villain who attacked a bank a few weeks ago, then too leaving flowers and a message for Luminescence.
Reporters attempting to question Luminescence as she was brought back abourad the carrier were pushed back by Longbow officers, but she was photographed with a red rose tucked into her wet hair behind her ear and a somewhat dazed expression on her face.
"There was a strange reaction to our combined radiation powers, and I found myself quite unable to concentrate my mental powers" she said shortly after her return. "Damn, he got me wet" she added, smiling for the cameras before leaving, looking somewhat dazed still from her battle.

Explosions Rock Sharkshead Isles
This morning Sharkhead Isle was rocked by several explosions badly damaging Marcone run warehouses and factories. No-one was seriously hurt by the explosions but production out of these buildings has been stopped while an investigation is underway. Arachnos were first on the scene after the explosions and quickly put the blame on The Scrapyarder faction that occupy the Island.
"We are convinced this is the work of the Scrapyarders. They are constantly causing trouble in this area and it would not suprise me they would take such measures."
Rogue Isles Marcone Family Under Attack
The Rogue Isles Marcone Family have been under seige. On Wednesday morning several of their factories and warehouses in the Port Recluse area were damaged by explosive devices detonated symontaniously. Since Wednesday Family members all over the Isles have been attacked and killed without warning.
While no-one has offically taken blame for the attacks, Arachnos still holds to their claims it is the Scrapyarder faction who have instigated these attacks. Arachnos have decided to take hostile action against the disgruntled group and fighting broke out over Sharkhead Isle yesterday. But the widespread attack on the Marcone's suggest that the Scrapyarders, who are mainly based in Sharkhead Isle, are just an easy scapegoat and that the Arachnos, and Marcone's , are hidding the truth.

DJ STACKER CANCELS SETS, DISAPPEARS
Many clubbers across Rhode Island will be disappointed to hear that Gemma Stacker has postponed all her sets for the next week, citing personal difficulties as her reasons. However, the DJ promised to reschedule to dates when she beleived would feel fit to continue her work.
This comes just hours after she was seen coming out of Crowne Memorial last night with a bandaged hand, looking somewhat upset. This alone has sparked rumours that things haven't gone well between herself and Pipedream frontman Joey Stahl.
Gemma Stacker is currently unavailable to comment. In fact, she's nowhere to be found, as even her own family is currently trying to find her to no avail.

Crab Spiders - Arachnos' SWAT
One of the saviours in the Etoile Isles is Arachnos' crack team of specialists. Highly trained in meta-human conflicts, the heavily armored 'Crab Spider' teams work around Etoile Isles eradicating threats to the Islands civilian population, aswell as maintaining order in the entwined nest of Islands. The teams of often seven or more, both male and female recruits, deal with the everyday dangers of the Isles. Without them a lot more Banks would be robbed, alot more innocent people would be put at risk, and alot more random crimes would be committed.
But then we see how things can go wrong, in Stefan's little world. Take one trip to Warburg and we see how some of Recluses sick interventions with humankind to create the perfect super soldiers can go drastically wrong. Squadrons of Arachnos patrol the missile facility calling it their own, calling themselves Rogue, against the plans of Recluse and his peers.

GORZILLA RAMPAGE HALTED BY MYSTERY HEROES

A GIANT mechanical gorilla left a trail of destruction through an industrial complex near Skyway City Airport tonight.
Longbow engaged in a pitch battle with the mechanical ape, dubbed Gorzilla by the emergency services personnel dispatched to the scene, for 40 minutes not long before the late edition of the Spartan went to press.
Although they managed to slow down Gorzillas rampage, Longbow were unable to harm him as he was protected by sophisticated forcefields.
At the start of the battle, Gorzilla spat hundreds of tiny spider-like machines at a Longbow flier causing it to loose power and crash to the ground. The collateral damage to buildings, cars and the highway is estimated to be in the millions.
Gorzillas target was the control tower at defence contractor Sentinel Systems facility near the airport. All flights were cancelled for several hours as a precaution.
It is believed that Gorzilla was attempting to hamper efforts by Sentinel Systems to regain control of their highjacked Project Barrage defence satellite. The satellite was used to fire two devastating sonic beams into downtown Steel Canyon earlier this evening.
And, as unexpectedly as the carnage had begun, it ended when Gorzilla froze and plummeted to the ground from the Sentinel Systems tower.
Longbow commander Enoch McBain said the city owed a debt of thanks to a group of mystery heroes who were responsible for neutralising Gorzilla from a location on Talos Island.
He said: Not all heroes embrace the limelight and we have been assisted many times by this group who prefer to remain in the shadows.
It was clear to us that we could do little more than slow down this mechanical menace and if not for the actions of these heroes the outcome would have been much different. We are now working with PPD, Sentinel Systems and other agencies to ensure the threat to Steel Canyon has been neutralised.
Sentinel Systems could not confirm that they had control of the Project Barrage satellite when the Spartan went to press.
It is not known whether the attacks in Steel Canyon and Skyway City were connected to a rocket-like object seen taking off from a building on Talos moments before Gorzilla fell.

Mysterious Hero Slayer Returns???
Last night, Infernal, the demon master of the Vindicators, was on a very important mission in the Rogue Isles, preventing the Circle of Thorns from once again was raise unknown demons from the netherworld, came back to paragon defeated.
While he had the support of his fellow Vindicator Ms. Liberty's Longbow agents, he was unprepared for the arrival of the Mysterious Hero Slayer, and his Mu enforcers. For those of you unfamilar with him, he was an assassin that defeated many of the Vindicators ranks last year, seeming to
appear from no where to interrupt their covert missions against the Arachnos threat. He previously had defeated many of Paragons finest, including Ms. Liberty herself. If it was not for Infernals brave last stand against him and his supporters, many believed that it would have been a blood bath for the longbow officers, who Infernal admitted himself were untrained and under experience for such an fearsome opponent.
Infernal was emergency teleported from the scene in the nick of time. He has fully recovered, and as a testement to his valor and bravery, has already returned to active duty.
Tensions Rise In Port Recluse
It has been one week since the explosions in Sharkhead Isle halted the Marcone Families buisness in the area. Fighting between the Scrapyard, Arachnos & The Marcone's has turned the better part of Port Recluse into a warzone.
Scrapyarder leaders have been claiming that they were NOT the ones responisible for last weeks bombings. While on the opposite end the Arachnos are claiming that they are the ONLY ones who have motive to do such an act. With such differing stories from both sides, and no-one actually owning up to the event, this paper is confused on who to belive.
The Arachnos agents in the area have warned citizens to progress through Port Recluse very carefully over the next few days, as fights are breaking out in the streets almost every few hours. Arachnos forces, from the local Fort, are attempting to quell the attacks between the Scrapyarders and Marcone's and bring some order back to the busy port town.

Medical Supply Convoy Attacked
The culprit responsible for a terrible attack on a supply convoy yesterday is yet to be identified. The shipment contained much needed medical supplies for the Steel Canyon hospital; included in the supply was anti-cancer drugs, and even a new heart for 7 year old Fiona Thompson. At 6pm last night, "the trucks were halted by an explosion in the road", says an eyewitness, "and this figure jumped down, he looked like one of them arachnos - but different, anyway he jumped down, opened the door to the truck and just killed the driver and the passenger. Just like that, that's when i ran." After this, the shipment was destroyed using small explosives. The suppliers of the medical supplies, Infinicorp. say that a new shipment is en route to accomodate the loss, and that precautions have been taken to ensure a repeat does not happen.
The Poshest Soup Kitchen in Paragon
This weekend, while the Rikti attacks raged, Jean-Luc Santeres,the manager of the cosmopolitan hero-club, Fourth Wall, opened his doors to feed the masses of Paragon City.
Jean-Luc, a retired registered hero of Paragon City, moved his club to King's Row several months ago, in what he called a move to "get back to his roots and do some good." While the club would be considered an anomaly with its rather posh interior and clientelle, Jean-Luc himself hasn't forgotten "his people", and when he isn't out fighting the Rikti bombs which have sometimes landed literally outside his door, he's hiring more staff to cope with the demands of making food for people who lost their homes in the attacks.
"People don't fight well on empty stomachs," Jean-Luc says with a smile as he stirs a massive pot of heavenly-scented gumbo and rice. "There are people still without power, heat, and water. The least I can supply them with is food. King's Row isn't uptown, and as a result it tends to be sort of forgotten. And I can't have that."
No indeed...refugees of the attacks are crammed in everywhere, eating princely repasts of the finest Creole-fusion cusine the cooks can manage. Jean-Luc has even taken to hiring on extra staff, and surprisingly, there's even a few Skulls members wandering around inside, serving, clearing up, washing, and of course eating.
"A few months ago I'd be arresting them," Jean-Luc laughed. "But when I was out fighting Rikti yesterday, I passed a huddle of them, most of them looking scared to death. They're just kids...I peeled some Rikti off them and told them to go home, and a few showed up to help. Earn their respect, speak their language, and they're just fine."
However, it might be Jean-Luc's generosity is getting the better of him. "He told us all to go home, as he thought it would be safer for us," Ramon Manuco, the sous chef, informed us while he helped to serve up the evening meal. "But he pays well, and is a good man, so we said we'd help him. What else is there to do otherwise than wait for the bombs to fall, and worry? Still, we can see the cracks. He's pushing himself too hard - he never get sick, but lately, he looks tired, and he's coughing all the time...and those eyes."
Whilst Jean-Luc's glowing golden eyes and flagging health are indeed a cause for concern, it doesn't seem like he's willing to stop. Even while the alarms sounded outside - a sound becoming so familiar these days it's almost as if their silence is more strange - he immediately leaped up and headed for the door to dispel the invasion. If he's retired, he's managed to keep in shape well enough to send the Rikti packing, and still come back to serve up the final meal and close up the club for the night.
"The thing about being a hero, is people doing ordinary things. I don't think this is so very praiseworthy...it's just common sense. People are hungry. You feed them. Food is love, and you have to spread that around."
Tipping point for Port Recluse.
It may seem like old news but the bombings in Port Recluse created a massive aftershock that has kept Sharkhead Isle on its toes. The Scrapyard faction were blamed for the attack against Marcone run businesses. Arachnos soldiers were sent in to arrest the terrorists and prevent other attacks. However fighting began in the streets between the two groups and now, for the past two weeks, Port Recluse has been a practical war zone!
The Scrapyarders are calling out Arachnos soldiers stating that the bombings was an Arachnos plan to finally eradicate their group and silence their call for a better life on the industrial island. Arachnos on the other hand are staying firm to the story that the Scrapyarders are to wholly to blame.
The tension between the two groups has been getting to unbelievable levels. Citizens in Port Recluse are warning to expect a full scale riot by the Scrapyarder group within the next few days. Heavy resistance is expected from the Arachnos who have been seen arming themselves to the teeth. Several evacuation procedures are being enforced for those wishing to leave.
Warshade Petitions PPD
A member of the ranks of the Warshades, known as Umbral Pulsar, has filed a petition against the PPD in their policy for not recruiting officers bonded with reformed Nictus into the ranks of the Awakened. Umbral, formerly an officer of the Atlas Park PPD Precinct named William Barnes, states that had his former human self bonded with a Kheldian and became a Peacebringer, he would have been inducted. "Instead of this, the PPD seem to shun those who wish for a second chance, and have stated that there is no plan to reinstate me in any rank. People have said I am an ex-felon, but only one half of myself was, and I am no longer that being, or Officer William Barnes. I just wish for a chance to prove myself, and hope that working alongside the Awakened Division will strengthen the ties between the Peacebringers and Warshades."
The PPD were unavailable for comment on this matter, though did state that it would be unprofessional to speak on an ongoing matter such as this.
The Nines to play live on TV.
Paragon based music group 'The Nines' will be appearing on popular music show 'Saturday Music Central Live' on May 10th, in their first televised performance since the Rock Against The Rikti concert. Frontwoman Nene MacAllister states that as well as a couple of covers and two of their popular tracks from their live set, they'll be performing two new tracks from their upcoming album, as well as being interviewed.

Final Weekend for Full House Play
The Apollo Theatre's youth production of Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet' will be having its final three showings this weekend. The play, that has sold out to capacity in each showing, has been one of the most popular youth productions of this decade, with the production values and acting talent receiving critical acclaim. Tyron Hardies, the manager of the Apollo Theatre, said to reporters at a press conference that "while I hope we may see a few more shows with the current cast, I believe they will be taking a break for a while to recharge their batteries."
Scrapyarders Vindicated. Sharkhead Isles bomber identified
Fighting erupted out side the local Arachnos fort in Port Recluse this morning. Scrapyarders and Arachnos soliders went head to head but the fight was interupted by a large man who has yet to be indentified. The individual attached the Arachnos forces leaving several in a serious condition. His intervention caused the fighting to fall apart and both sides to call a retreat.
Shortly after our reporter returned from the scene we recived a tip off that the Bombings in Sharkhead Isle that caused the Scrapyarder/Arachnos battles were caused by the reclusive Corporation who were, up untill late, belive to be disbanded. What this means for the citizens of Port Recluse is unknown. Arachnos had refused to comment.

MURDER SUSPECT SLICES MILITIA LEADERS EAR OFF IN ARREST DRAMA
THE daughter of billionaire Alexander Romanov is behind bars after being charged with the murder of a decorated Longbow commander.
And, it has been claimed, during her arrest Nadja Romanov, 27, hacked hero Amber Banshees ear clean off as she tried to make her escape.
It followed the death of Longbow Commander Uther Stonefang in a sunken temple off the east coast of Sharkshead Island, Etoile.
A single silver bullet to the head killed Stonefang, a werewolf who was one of Longbows most respected officers.
Longbow Sergeant Malachi OBrien said: Commander Stonefang was a legend, there is no other word for him. He may have had the body of a monster but he had the mind of a general, the soul of a poet and the heart of a lion. With him leading from the front, our confidence was never higher that we would win the battle in the Etoile Islands.
The drama unfolded last night after Longbow and Militia leader The Amber Banshee were dispatched to the temple as part of an ongoing investigation.
Nadja Romanov was arrested trying to make her way out of the temples tunnels after the commander had been shot. It is believed that other suspects fled the scene.
It was there that The Amber Banshee challenged and overpowered her. But it is claimed that Romanov lashed out with a concealed blade.
The Amber Banshee was treated at Longbows base in Nerva Achipelago before being airlifted to a specialist plastic surgeon at the Phoenix Medical Center, Talos Island.
Nadja Romanov was also injured during the altercation and is currently being held at the Ziggursky Prison hospital wing.
Romanov, a former Oxford graduate and Olympic gymnast, recently left her job at her fathers company League Associated Industries. She made her living as a respected dealer in antiques and artefacts and had no criminal record.

RENOWNED ARACHNOS HERO DIES
Renowned Arachnos hero Dark Ebon Spider was murdered on today by Infinitron a known vigilante from paragon city.
It was a well known fact that Infinitron had a hatred of Spider for all the good work he does on the Rogue Isles even going far enough to spread malicious and outlandish lies about Spider, these ranged from stating Spider was a Known Terrorist to calling Spider an Assassin for hire. It sickens us here at the Gazette that the people of Paragon city will likely hail Infinitron a hero and be held in high regard for taking Spiders life.
Infinitron started by assaulting Spider who then tried to defend himself, Infinitron then beat Spider severely and when her was weakened the vile vigilante then grabbed him and flew into the sky before hurling Spider back towards the concrete below where he was killed on impact, Spider's body has been taken back to his beloved Grandville where he will be cremated and cast amidst the tangle.
The Gazette has interviewed a few of the super powered beings in the Rogue Isles who knew Spider and over all it seems that the isles will greatly mourn this great man who will be sorely missed.

Glitz still masked
Wearing a striking white and black costume, Glitz is easily recognizable as a hero. Glitz is a hero dedicated to the magical arts but more so to helping her fellow men. She keep her identity secret to protect both herself and her convent of magical sisters. This convent is dedicated to helping people who have a direct need for help, where those victim of a crime seems to be the most common in this day, unfortunately. The convent passes their teachings on from mother to daughter, this includes the magical teachings as well as the moral teachings.
When asked what her most fond memory was, Glitz revealed that it was saving a citizen from a seemingly hopeless situation. That she tried none the less and succeeded is but a testament to her heroic dedication to saving even a single person against the odds.
No wonder, really, when you realise that she hopes to be seen in the same light as Ms. Liberty: Doing good because it is good, not because of personal fame or glory.
Underneath the mask is still a warm blooded woman that one day hopes to settle down a bit, have a daughter of her own to teach. But even then, she will be donning the costume and helping mankind.

Murder in the rouge isles!
Authorities today confirmed they are investigating a possible serial killer, the method of death that the unknown assailent uses seems to be according to reports that of draining the victims totally of blood. This has lead many to speculate it is a Vampire killer, we know after some investigations the first death, that of a member of a gang known as the Skulls happened days after a known vampire, one Countess Leeches had entered the islands. It was later reported that a member of Arachnos was found dead in a similar manner, however that report could possibly have been false as we have found no thurther reports of Arachnos casualties on the night in question. Three other murders however have been more blatently confirmed, a third victim was found outside the famous Pocket D nightclub and two others have been found in the Cap Au Diable Island. We are now asking for anyone with information to send a message to the authorities, Arachnos our noble and great benefactors however say there is no cause for alarm and that they have the situation under observation, we wish them luck in their persuit of this murderer.

Last Show on Stage Ends With Bang!
Steel Canyon
A group of Outcasts known as the Four Corners Five attacked one of the stars of the Apollo Theatres Youth Production of 'Romeo And Juliet' on its last night of showing.
The five strong gang of mutants, recently escaped from prison, stormed the stage in the final act and quickly attacked Ryan Andrews, who played Romeo and is one of the heroes in the Unity Vigil.
During a barrage of homophobic taunts and insults to the young actor, the five quickly overpowered him with their combined abilities, causing thousands of dollars worth of damage to the stage and equipment, and resulting in several cast and backstage technicians injured, including Andrews.
Escaping with only minor injuries, the real damage came to Cindersnap's pride, from his apparent ineffectiveness and ineptude in the opening attack, and the disasterous end to what was considered a great run of plays. Andrews, 17, declined to comment to reporters.

Metal Monster creates Weekend of Terror
There have been reports over the weekend of Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th of a number of incidents occurring across the Rouge Isles that seem to be all connected because of the involvement of what at the moment can only be described as a Towering Metal Monster.
The first reported incident was at the small amusement arcade centre, Six Slots where a group of Tsoo had taken a number of staff and patrons hostage allegedly in retaliation to a racketeering ring ran by the gang in St. Martial that was recently stopped by local Arachnos enforcement.
Witnesses to the incident state that from out of nowhere a huge humanoid structure that was estimated to be around 7 foot tall with spiked horns on its head, crashed into the building and quickly proceeded to kill all the Tsoo that were involved with the hostage taking. Our contact within Arachnos in St. Martial denied that this metal being was under their command and in fact they had put out alerts to other Arachnos divisions about this creature as they were getting news about it attacking Arachnos facilities.
And there were a number of separate incidents of this around the Isles, although the majority were in Grandville. There are considerable numbers of Arachnos soldiers including members the infamous Bane Spider squadrons who are currently in intensive care in hospitals around the Isles. One source we have within Arachnos confirmed that there was as many deaths of soldiers as there were soldiers in Intensive Care Units.
But it does not seem that this was a targeted attack against Arachnos alone. We have heard reports that the vigilante group of Longbow also suffered similar attacks towards their own installations by what appears to be the same metal being, based on the descriptions given to us in these reports.
Aside from the established organisations, there are also reports around the Isles of piles of dead gang members from the Freakshow with some literally torn apart. There is also the story of piles of Devouring Earth carcases spread around a cemetery in Cap Au Diable as well as dead Rikti in a separate part of Port Oaks that nearly equalled the amount of defeated Rikti in the area where the bulk of the fighting in an invasion attempt occurred.
Crey Industries also appeared to have suffered over this weekend. Although the company was quick to dismiss reports that The Countess Crey herself was severely injured in an attack, as The Countess was never in the Rogue Isle over this weekend, they did confirm that a number of agents were forced to engage against and repel a significant threat to the company that attacked a number of its warehouses and other business outlets and that casualties did occur.
While many probably will not shed a tear for some of those that lost their lives from the various gangs hit, it is still disturbing to hear stories of this happening around the Rogue Isles. But it was the news the kept filtering through to us on the Sunday evening that made this story something that all citizens of the Rogue Isle should be concerned over.
First was the news that five Super Powered Vigilantes from Paragon City had to be transported to medical facilities in separate incidents. The five names were Luminary and Swan of the Vindicators group and Serifina, Malase and Mirror Spirit of W.I.S.D.O.M. These Heroes of Paragon are not the most popular around the Isles but for all five to have to seek medical attention because of one being over the course of a weekend should surely be a grave concern for all.
But it did not stop there. Other names of Super Powered beings started to come to us that have had to receive medical treatment over the weekend, this time celebrated soldiers of Arachnos. These were Silver Mantis, Barracuda and Ice Mistral. Perhaps the most shocking news of all was the unconfirmed reports that Scirocco himself, one of Arachnos highest ranking soldiers, was allegedly confronted by this metal being and was defeated.
While Arachnos officials quickly denied that Scirocco was injured in anyway, we have heard from sources who do not wish to give their names that Scirocco did require help getting to Arachnos main medical facility in Grandville. Arachnos officials however did confirm that the other three Soldiers of Arachnos did require some medical help over the weekend but that it was not serious.
The final report we received that seem to involve the same metal monster came from the area of Paragon City that is known as The Rikti War Zone. Although Vangurad refused to comment on any question we had about this story, we received word from sources there that a War Lord of the Rikti was in the area preparing for an assault. Vanguard were aware of his presence and were preparing a Super Powered task force to take on this War Lord but the Task Force was called off when news came through of a sudden retreat by the War Lord after being attacked by a lone metal being.
No other groups have come out claiming responsibility for any of these incidents over the weekend. We can only speculate at this time that this being is working alone and it is ether a calculated person who is powerful enough to design such daring attacks and be successful, or worse, there is an uncontrollable creature on the loose.
Officials from around the Isles are hoping that this weekend was a one time deal though. Since going to press we have heard no new stories concerning this Towering Metal Monster and hope that this continues to be the case. All Isle officials however have urged all Rogue Isle citizens to remain vigilant. As well as the still present dangers of Rikti bombing strikes and the usual gangs that plague The Isle, that you should keep a watchful eye out for this 7 foot metal being with a crown of spiked horns on its head. Report any suspicious activities to the nearest Arachnos soldier and do not attempt in any circumstances to confront a suspect that matches the description that we have given.

PARTY CRASHED BY MAD ROBOT!
As this paper goes to press, the PPD are busy investigating the mess caused by an unexpected attack on a party held in the city by Florida weapons mogul Liam Longstaff.
Things looked grim for the billionaire when a strange blue robot broke into the hall where the party was held, attacked a few of the guests and then threatened the man's life with his blades.
However, things could have taken a turn for the worse were it not for the efforts of both Longstaff's personal security team and his daughter, Molly. While the single shot fired on the robot by the girl caused no damage to it, the 'message' appeared to have been recieved when the robot fled the building.
The incident resulted in a few casualties, 1 fatal, 3 severe and several minor, all inflicted by the robot. The Longstaffs however, remain safe and well, and Liam himself has openly offered to aid those affected by the incident in any way he can.
Neither of them were at the time available to comment,

Longbow humiliated by newly discovered Villain!
A pair of glove and boots we're stolen from Longbows Headquarters in Port oakes.It is believed they we're the prototype to a designed set of ' Super speed ' gloves and boots. A large squad was called to the scene i hopes of rescuseing the research but from eye witnesses;Brain Acid the young yet psychotic mutant was spotted fighting and controlling them all off with his mental powers and dominance over plants. " It was a long fight! and a damn good one at that alot of the longbows we're sent to the hospital i think even one of them is crippled, or was he killed? " a qoute from one of the locals who was gawping in awe at the display. We never got a chance to spot Brain acid but we did however find a newly splashed puddle of green and black paint. Most likely he's repainted the prototypes. But one things for sure Longbow will certainly be increaseing thier secruity and Brain acid is certainly not someone to be trifled with.

Tuesday 6th May
The PPD release this artists impression of a suspect who fled the scene of a highh-tech burglary. The girl, thought to be in her mid or late teens, made off with a number of advanced components before teleporting away when cornered on a rooftop. Though several security staff were incapacitated while trying to apprehend her, all were disabled with psychic blasts and have suffered nothing worse than a mild headache after regaining consciousness.
The police have stated that the suspect may be mentally unabalanced, but is not considered dangerous unless provoked. Anyone spotting her should call the PPD at once, and any local heroes attempting to apprehend her should proceed with caution.
Unknown Hero saves citizens
Yesterday Hellions rampaged through Steel Canyon whilst burning anything in their way. They soon caught fire to an apartment building with over 15 people inside. They rampaged in a took hostage of the civilians. The local Police department raced to the scene.
But as they arrived the building was secure. They searched the building to see a bunch of Hellions tied up in a bathroom.
The police said they don't know who or what saved these citizens. The residents of the building said they saw a armored man 'punching the hell out of them'.
Police say they caught letter stamped with a picture of a Wolf.

Rikti Attack Students!
In the early hours of the morning a Rikti strike force somehow penetrated the war walls in Steel Canyon and proceeded to attack the student housing.
From the information provided to us by Vanguard it seems that there was remarkably little destruction with the raid being carried out with almost surgical precision.
Details are still sketchy as of the time we send this article to print, but it seems at least one Rikti assault ship blew its way into one of the higher level apartments, a brief fight is believed to have followed and the Rikti withdrew.
The only witness inside the apartment is still being questioned by Vanguard, and they are keeping the witness under a press black out for now.

Frederick Jones, a.k.a Headliner, was released from police custody early this morning after being taken in for questioning regarding the latest "Jargon Broadcast". No charges were pressed and Mr. Jones provided the following statement.
"I was happy to try and help the police figure out what was going on. It seems lie everytime Jargon shows up, his little 'shows' get worse and worse. I don't have any leads, but I'm making searching for him my top priority. Jargon is a dangerous individual, and it's pretty obvious he needs to be stopped."
