This committment to the CoX license is great to see. I approve.

They're more than welcome to pay for the... privilege themselves then. If Dave starts telling fortunes while wearing the panties he might be able to make a career change.
-
I really don't want to see you in bat themed panties. No offense.

You'd almost think they didn't want us to give them our money. And I do. I really do.

Hey guys.
Basically, I've moved into a new flat, and am only going to be there for six months. Unfortunately, internet providers like Virgin are only willing to do me a twelve month contract, so I'm looking for alternatives. Can anybody suggest some?
I've been told about mobile broadband, does anyone have experience with that?
Running the game is obviously a concern.
Thanks in advance, I really appreciate any help. -
I think an arrest would be the best way to go honestly. Nothing would frustrate Ed more than being taken in by the system he believes to have already failed him. Regarding characters, you know Headliner and Sarah are both after him, as well as the new Laugh Riot. (Last Laugh). Feel free to contact me.

Paragon City
Freddy had recovered quickly from his hit from the gas, but had gone along to the medical bay of the Unity Vigil for observation just in case. They gave him a clean bill of health, based on what they could discover. Giving him a full medical was very difficult.
Rogue Isles
A woman hung upside down in a black and red chamber, her feet secured to the ceiling by magnetic locks. There were four Arachnos Fortunata's standing guard at the corners of the room, meditating and blocking out the noise from the televisions.
The wall the woman faced had television screens all across it, filtering in news reports from television, radio and the internet. She was dressed in white mental patients clothes, a heavily secured straightjacket keeping her arms locked to her side.
Her Arachnos jailors allowed her one concession every night before they locked her up. On her head was a white mask, buckled to the straightjacket. It was too big for her head, giving it a strange lopsided appearance that was only emphasised by the crude stitches across the face where it had been roughly torn in the past.
It stretched a crooked zipper grin across her face, with three black horns protruding from the forehead.
"Such a big prank, and I wasn't even invited ..." She cooed to herself. "We'll see who gets The Last Laugh heh... aheheh...." -
Paragon City
Freddy Jones had been unfortunate enough to get caught in the lobby when the gas was released, on his way out to a television chat show he was guesting on. When he had spotted the tiny car drive in it had illicited a chuckle from him until the picture of Mechano, a former friend, popped up.
When it began releasing the gas he knew better than to try and destroy the car, Unity Vigil had people trained to deal with situations like this and he wasn't one of them. By smashing it he could set off a bomb, or trigger one of Edwards other contigencies. Instead he moved away, covering his mouth and coughing as he retreated round the corner.
When its effects began to hit him, they were reduced. Freddy was a man of incredible size and strong constitution, able to resist intoxicants. He began to laugh as he felt the effects, not sure what he was finding so funny, before quickly slapping a massive hand over his mouth. He had previously been the supercriminal Laugh Riot and for him, uncontrolled laughter could be dangerous. More importantly it could be dangerous for the people around him. -
Frederick "Headliner" Jones stood at the back of the Roman Catholic church, dressed in one of his custom suits. His hair was neatly styled and his beard carefully trimmed.
"And also with you." He said quietly, joining with the rest of the congregation in their response to the priest.
Every Christmas he couldn't help but feel a little like Scrooge. Not for any lack of Christmas spirit, not at all. It was his favourite time of year. There was almost nothing better than dressing up as Santa Claus and handing out gifts to the kids who needed them most. No, he felt a little like Scrooge because he was always drawn to contemplate Christmas past, present and future.
Where had he been before this? At home, opening presents under the tree with his family. Alone, when times were hard, eating cold spaggeti from the tin. With a terrible smile plastered across his face, kicking down doors. Full of hope for better things, an engagement ring in his pocket.
And now? Now he was in church. Standing at the back because he didn't want to cause a stir, as the sight of him by a crowd could still do, though sometimes the reactions were more positive these days. And also because he couldn't fit himself onto the benches anyway, not without crushing them. Full of more hope than ever, but with no engagement ring in pocket or on finger.
And he wondered where he would be a year from now. Five years, ten years. All he asked for was that even then he had hope.
"Amen." He murmured alongside everyone else. -
What is with you and the Ninjitsu set? You're obsessed.

Prestige is the most sensible bonus. /signed

I imagine they would do this anyway, like they did with Inventions. But /signed just in case they weren't planning on it.

Wow, some big overreactions here... he's just asking what would your characters do in this hypothetical situation, not how would you deal with it as a roleplayer to make sure nothing ever happened to your characters.
So here goes.
Headliner would be vulnerable to something like that, and end up as part of the adoring masses.
The Last Laugh is a psychic entity, and would be immune. The order and structure this being would try to bring about would enrage her, since she wants chaos to sweep across reality. She would do everything she could to disrupt it.
Extremist has no psychic protection, but he is an angel, so he might be immune or resistant. If he was free from control, he would accept the deity so long as he felt it was doing good. (He's not very loyal to his god, just to the concepts.)
Afterlight is a powerful psychic and would be immune. Her first step would be to free her brother, Headliner, and anyone else close to her and form a resistance.
Those are my most important ones. *Enjoyed answering this harmless question* -
Zombie shield. That's all I have to say. Zombie shield.
-
I would *love* to get involved in this, unfortunately Freddy/Headliner is actually in the Isles right now and not in Paragon. Darn
-
Having not seen you in game Brit, I'll go ahead and put my char details here.
Afterlight is a prime candidate for anything magical, and it wouldn't be hard to imagine her giving her brother Headliner an artifact for safekeeping if you'd rather have him. You know both characters well Brit, so I won't go into detail.
I have a villain, Extremist, who is a fallen angel and practices magic, so he could work too if you want someone redside.
There's also the new Laugh Riot, Last Laugh , who is interested purely in causing chaos and will do anything to aid that. Another redside character. You knew the original Laugh Riot when he was still Laugh Riot, so you can imagine the sort of toon this is. -
As if you need to ask, Brit old buddy old pal. I'll PM you about this when I get a chance.
-
Sounds grand to me, and I could probably work up a plot where The Extremist makes some sort of move.
Several, actually... -
My character The Extremist is slowly leaning towards believing he would be a good influence on humanity if he had some position of power. I don't think he'd ever go so far as wanting to conquer it, but power is definately starting to appeal to him.
