FYI, people could go from 1 to 50 in less than two days before we had AE or double XP weekends. With AE, people were going from 1 to 50 in a couple of hours before the toonsmackage. I see no reason to doubt that a random player could do it in two full days currently.

No no no no nonono....I wouldn't suggest going into invention sets just yet. I would suggest learning the tools in the game to start understanding basic power attributes first.
For example: you have Temporary Invulnerability slotted for recharge when it already recharges quite fast. You have stealth slotted for defense when it has a very small bonus to defense (therefore slotting for it gives a small bonus as well).
There are in game tools to see just how much resistance, damage or recharge a power has so start educating by knowing what your powers can do.
Azrael if you are still reading this thread, I suggest that you park this current character for now. After you create other characters and get a better understanding of power and slot choices, then come back to your original and 'clean house'!

I agree with BayBlast here. Leave that character alone and learn more about the game. When you have more experience you can come back to it and fix it up.
Also, ask the people in the Blaster forums about how to build that particular character. The will be able to give you much more specific advice.
Play every AT for at least a few levels. Make sure you learn the various AT's strengths and weaknesses (at least the basics of them). The more you know about the ATs your teammates are playing, the better teammate you will be to them.

But when new players are asking questions from other players (and in the correct thread no less) we should aim to contribute to the conversation, not detract from the experience.
I know some folks who adamantly refuse to use the boards because in their opinion "The boards are useless because too many @#$%! like too chime in with crap. Theres to much crap to read through to find the good answer."
We who care about the future of this game should invest in generating a positive experience for the new arrivals.

No one's said you don't have the right to say what you want, and touting out First Amendment rights on a forum when someone disagrees with you only makes you look foolish. More than a little because it actually doesn't apply on a privately run forum and if the mods didn't like what you were saying, they would be completely within their right to silence you. Not saying that's going to happen in this case or anything, just that "First Amendment right" is a silly argument to use.
Anyway, no one's saying that you don't have the right to say what you said. Just that they think you're wrong...

DO NOT JOIN ANY STFs or ITFs with this blaster. Do your re-roll, as you said you were doing and concentrate on that character. When you feel you no longer "suck" (using your own terms), then you might be ready.
I'm so scared witless of teaming with these AE babies for STF and LRSR, that I've sequestered myself to only teaming within my current network of friends and coalies. Which is a shame, I've always liked to expand my horizons, but I'm just not going to deal with an AE baby that may or may not have bought some SOs and take on the high-end content.

This may sound nitpicky, and is very OT, but I have a moral obligation to correct you.
This First Amendment does not grant you any rights. The right to Free Speech is granted by the creator. The First Amendment prevents the government from infringing upon that right. To say that the First Amendment gives you the right is to say that the government gives you the right of free speech, as the Constitution is the document of government. This would then empower the government to take away that right, as it is granted by government.

Ok, on the stealth thing... yea... I took it for defense and stealth. 
I might be speccing it out now and getting the ones from fighting pool.
OP: You might want to re-think the blaster thing with a mix of blast AND mele.
Grab at least 3 blast powers and the nuke and probably drop stun. Being a Blapper has it's merits... but you want more range also.

Excuse me, but perhaps you should look at that post you directed me to. Again. It was pretty much along the vein of telling me what I can and cannot say on a forum. That's BS. I think this is a pretty bad hoax, because clearly he knew where to go to take those screenshots, and it just "never occured to him" that he could move the round things into the round holes? There are stupid people in the world, no doubt, but when you're on the correct tab, in the correct system of manipulation, clearly you could figure out that you're supposed to be doing something with the strange round things at the bottom of the screen. It's blatantly obvious, despite what someone suggested earlier, that he did not take the screen shot while he leveled, because unslotted enhancements are not shown at the bottom when leveling and the screen he showed had that and had the EXIT button. Furthermore, the leveling screen shows the full list of power sets and pools that you are taking.
It would have been a more believable hoax if he had shown us a screenshot of him looking at the "Powers" tab and declaring that as his build. I'm just trying to save people's gullibility by casting in a reasonable shade of doubt. With all the "lol AE sux" threads we have, I have reason to be suspicious.

So after re-reading this, it can clearly be seen that no one is saying what you can or cannot say. But, after thanking the helpful folks of the forums, it does include some direction to only those persons who are not interested in answering, and at worst it offers that direction as a suggestion.
As for Hoax or not. I think it is entirely possible that the OP leveled so fast in AE, that when he did train up, he might have tried to place those level 1 and 2 enhancements into slots meant for enhancement much higher in level. As you know, you can't put level 1 enhancements into level 20 slots.
Was this the case? Maybe, maybe not. Is this a hoax? Maybe, maybe not. Someone asked a question, someone else gave a sincere answer.
I'm certainly not going to tell you what you can or can't post. But I may, or may not try to offer something to challenge your thinking.
