Which is why i wouldn't make the Praetorian version of Hypermech Boomkitty be Hypomeat Whisperdog. Praetorian versions generally don't have reversed meaning names or contrasting powers compared to their Primal versions. Still, this is a funny thread.

I pretty much do this already with all my characters already, more or less. At least in my head. (I really need to start writing detailed backgrounds.)
Brawler Moth(Martial Arts/Regen Scrapper) ==> Brutal Moth(Super Strength/Willpower Brute)
Commander Science(Warshade) ==> Syzygy(Nictus) (Syzygy is the name of the Nictus that joined with Brawler Moth after reforming, so for Praetoria... no reform.) (Also unfortunately, this name is taken on Pinnacle.)
Thoughtshot(Psychic Blast/Mental Manipulation Blaster) ==> Thoughtslaughter(Mind Control/Psionic Assault Dominator)
Sigma Cognate(Illusion/Force Field Controller)... has no Praetorian counterpart, as he exists due to a temporal anomaly. (He traveled back in time to Cimerora, and founded his own bloodline.)

Hmm...in this spirit then...
Jyoti. A hindi name meaning Light. She is an illusionist and an archer. This one would be tough for a counterpart.
But I'd have to go with Kali for the counterpart name.
so Jyoti == Kali
Now Ashni means 'lightning'. She is my Ice/Elec/Elec Blaster and the avatar of the Shinto storm god Susanoo.
It took me a while to think of one for her but I came up with Murakumo since, in Japanese, Murakumo means Massing Clouds/Gathering Clouds and deals with the legend of the Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi.
So Ashni == Murakumo
Finally, the toughest one is Vojin. The full name of the original battle suit is the Vojin Paradigm but he also has the Ouro version of himself from the future called Mender Avaruia (i am not on my desktop now but Mender Avaruia like Mender Silos in that if you rearrange the letters it is the name of a Hindu diety.). There is also the versions of the suits he uses Redside, like the Jotunn Prodigy and the Jotunn Proxy and the future Vojin Pandora once the Super Science Booster comes out and i can buy it.
He is also a Sonic Res/Energy Blast/Psi Mastery Defender (Sonic/Energy/Power in 2nd build. Electric/MM/Fire as Mender, Energy/Electric as Prodigy, Bots/Traps as Proxy).
But I think I settled on Polemos for him.
So, in sum.
Jyoti == Kali
Ashni == Murakumo
Vojin == Polemos

A small handful of my characters already have Praetorians, or are the Praetorians of Rikmach's characters. Though not all of them follow the usual "mirror" dichotomy - that is, I have a hero who is the Praetorian alternate of one of Rikmach's heroes, and he has a villain who is the Praetorian alternate of one of my villains. They just came into their powers and their use of them by different circumstances.
Tygara = War Cat
Our original pair. I had intended to make War Cat a villain (created her before CoV release to reserve the name), but as I played her she became truly heroic in her own right.
EarthShade = ShadeBorne
Tygara & War Cat's villainous sisters. Again, different circumstances behind how they gained their powers and turned evil, though in both cases, their hero sister was indirectly responsible.
Necril = Diabolesse
Di had actually been named "Abyssal" or something similar to that in CoV Beta, and that was a name I had really wanted for Necril in the first place... ironically, "Necril" would fit Diabolesse better, since she's a zombie summoner. Though with the release of Going Rogue and the Demon Summoning primary, she'll be getting rerolled.
Chakat Streak = Chakamil Silverspot
Streak's full name is "Chakat Silverstreak," as shi has silver tiger stripes. Hir mirror counterpart, Silverspot, is lynx-patterned in black with silver spots. The Chakat/Chakamil dichotomy is two separate subspecies of the same genetically engineered race: the Chakamil are the more aggressive, military-focused variant.

Somnium Vir = Vigilium Liber (The Dream Man = The Wake Kid)
The Crey Spider = The Devouring Fly (opposite of a mega corp, a loose knit group of plant monsters. opposite of a spider, a fly.)
Zombie. Lord = Angel. Servant (maybe use demon summoning + an angelic look..I like!)

Professor Backfire (Defender) = Doctor Armageddon (Corruptor)
The former is a heroic scientist unafraid to risk his life in pursuit of knowledge, or to save the lives of others. The latter... just wants to blow things up. And he's good at it.
