Quote:I love the idea of finally cleaning up the streets. And if the servers are shut off, they'll STAY CLEANED!Nov 30 The Last Hami Raid 7 EST and massive street sweeping, all heroes cleaning up the streets of Paragon once and for all
I'm reminded of Mr. Incredible. "I just want the world to stay saved, you know?! I feel like the maid! I JUST CLEANED UP IN HERE! CAN WE KEEP IT CLEAN FOR FIVE MINUTES?!"

And Goddess of Midnight (Water/Rad Corr) is in, too.
-
I am SO IN.
Night Guardian Nyx, DA/TW Tanker -
So, I just remembered that I won't be available to do this on this Friday night. I'm going to an SCA event with my wife this weekend, at the Castleton site... which is SCA speak for "the grounds of Britannia Manor." Turns out Richard Garriott is not only in the SCA, he's also a rapier fighter (like my wife, only better at it). We're going to be camping the event, so I won't be near a computer from Friday night until sometime Sunday.
Best of luck to everyone, and drink one for me!
UPDATE: Weather reports says it's supposed to rain pretty heavily all weekend here in Austin, so it looks like we won't be camping after. I might even be home on Friday night for this, though no promises. I'll try to make it, but don't wait up for me.
UPDATE 2: Considering that my wife has a rapier tournament at the event tonight at 9pm Central, which is just 1 hour before the TF is scheduled to begin, I'm gonna say it's a safe bet I won't be there. -
May be a little late, running longer with my son's bedtime story than expected.
-
Update: Goddess of Midnight won't be able to make it this week. A shift opened up at her player's work tonight, and because he's been getting shorted on hours due to the NHL lockout, he needs all the shifts he can get.

Night Guardian Nyx, Dark/TW Tank
Goddess of Midnight, Water/Rad Corruptor
These two have tried Imperious at least three times now without ever successfully beating Nictus Romulus... we're ready to change that. -
If we do ITF, I'll be bringing Night Guardian Nyx for sure. She and Goddess of Midnight have tried the ITF at least 3 times and never finished it successfully. Finally beating down Romulus in a context other than the Dark Astoria arcs is something they want to do before the end.

Third time's a charm! With the 6 members listed above, plus Shae Firewarder and Sweetie-Bot filling the last two slots, we finally achieved Master of Ms. Liberty's Task Force. Despite an early setback with a death in the first mission, we restarted and rolled straight on through, successfully defeating Lord Recluse at 11:58:27 PM Central Daylight Time. Zero defeats, zero temp powers.
L-R: Sweetie-Bot, Scootabuse, Shae Firewarder, Pogoman, Ms. Liberty, Soviet Spring, Knightward, Comrade Smersh, Agent Ravage
... plus two of Shae's imps and Ravage's Targeting Drone, Laserbeak.
Excellent work, comrades, and thank you all!
... so do we want to try for Master of the 5th Column Task Force, or Master of the Imperious Task Force, or one of the others next week? -
Same with me and my son's bedtime, which is 9pm Central (1 hour before zero hour). Though it seems he'll be up late tonight, watching Lord of the Rings with his mother.
-
I don't think she's registered for the forums, but Scootabuse (Titan/Regen Brute) will be joining us for this run, too.
-
-
I don't know about the rest of you, but I for one am in favor of continuing to try this every week until either we successfully achieve Master or they shut the servers off, whichever comes first! Who's with me?
-
Since I clearly won't get the Defender version of him leveled high enough for MLTF by tonight...
Agent Ravage, Assault Rifle/Devices Blaster
Edit: If we end up needing more tankiness, I can swap out for Necril (Fire/Axe) or Night Guardian Nyx (Dark/Titan Weapons); for more Melee Damage, I can bring my 46 Rogue Brute EarthShade (Stone/Dark). My only other 50 is a Scrapper who's still fully red.
But I want to try this with my first and greatest KGB toon. -
Hmm.
I think for this, I'll bring back my very first character (who was deleted, then recreated, and has been languishing at level 1 ever since I recreated her) who I brought to the park way back in the day.
If I can get the time, anyway. >.>
So, yeah, expect T'rana (anyone even remember her?) to hopefully show her pointy ears Saturday night. -
Dear Princess Celestia,
Tonight, I learned that even when you're alone in an unfamiliar city, on an unfamiliar world, it's still possible to find a kindred spirit to share your experiences with, and perhaps build a lasting friendship. And if you're feeling overwhelmed by the differences and the unfamiliarity of everything, sometimes a little 'friendship lubricant' is all it takes to get the wheels turning.
Your faithful student,
[STRIKE]Twiligh[/STRIKE] Glittering Dusk
P.S. No offense, but the Palladium Sentry puts on a much better Gala than you do, Princess.
P.P.S. Please don't banish me to the moon for saying that.
(Thanks to the Palladium Sentry for putting on a great party, and to Hyperhaste for giving my little wallflower pony somebody to talk to. And, of course, to Attercap for his excellent set; I was listening for hours before I could actually make it to the party, and was suitably impressed!) -
Ooh, this'll be the perfect event to debut my new alt Glittering Dusk in her formal gown...
Wonder how hard it'll be to convince Attercap to play "At the Gala" from the season finale of My Little Pony. -
In which case an account-wide unlock would make sense, just like Epic ATs. I think it's more the per-character unlocks that people here disagree with.
-
Except that a lot of people want NPC pieces to play a rogue/reformed member of the villain group, in which case it would make more sense that they had that costume when they started their career.
-
Think I'm bringing Necril out this time... I've got a couple of her old Halloween costumes saved, just can't decide if she should come as Morrigan Aensland from Darkstalkers, or as Rouge the Bat from Sonic Adventure 2.
-
-
-
Hmm, I've still got Necril's Morrigan Aensland costume handy.
-
Hrmm.... which alt to bring....
