They changed the screenshot filename format from this:

screenshot_2009-06-30-00-00-00.jpg
screenshot_yyyy-mm-dd-hh-mm-ss.jpg

to this:

Great, now our screenshot filenames are not y3k compliant...

In all seriousness I have to assume that change "helped" something.
What that something was I haven't a clue. *shrugs*

[/ QUOTE ]

OK.. so who is going to make the utility to update the names of the hundreds of thousands of screenshots I have under the old format?

[/ QUOTE ]
Bulk Rename Utility

Free context menu add-on. Right-click on the folder containing the files you want to rename, and select it from the context menu. Has MANY renaming options.

Can do this by just removing "-" from the first X characters of the file names.

It's been like that for quite some time, if you log back on pretty fast.

Footsteps are cool. Sand and loose soil now actually sound like sand and loose soil (and a little like snow) and the sound of footsteps on metal is no longer borrowed from Ufo: Enemy Unknown.

And the snozzberries taste like snozzberries.

Sorry couldn't resist, carry on....

Not new, at least one issue, maybe two.

There is one in shadow shard for heroes too.

I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.

So sad to be ending ):

Not new, but he may have relocated. I don't recall him standing in that spot before I15. I seem to recall he was off to one side before I15.

When I zone, I now replay my power activation animations for my toggles when I hit the destination zone. I am not sure how it chooses what to play - it only plays one if you have multiple toggles running.

I can't say I'm real fond of it.

SO I noticed this a couple of months ago but no one I talked to had any idea what I was talking about.

Some Graveyard Gates swing open now when you bump against them. Tis I think is fantastic. If its something that has been around for years..oops. If it is relatively new....yaaa for gates.

Enjoy your day please.

Argh.

/em flip now ends with you permanently in the "idle ready" animation. The one where you have one foot forward, and females are arms akimbo.

This used to put you in the "hands on hips" animation, and leave you in the idle animation swap loop (moving between hands on hips, arms crossed and foot forward)

This probably seems like a silly thing to be frustrated by, but I used /em flip to force characters into the idle cycle for screenshot and demo purposes.

Something new:
Unyielding difficulty can spawn Bosses in the +1 spawn points for a solo character (The +2 spawns are too small for this). This might be the case for tenacious too.

All I have to say is, Awesome!

I for one like this.

Makes soloing a bit more interesting.

I like the character counter in the character bio screen. That's nice. And the fact that they fixed bios as well.

My excitement shows in my newest bio:

"This is my bio.

This is the second line."

That seems more than a little odd. That's a significant bump in difficulty, and seems unlikely to be both intentional and (intentionally) not mentioned.

Then again, the patch notes this issue were complete garbage.

I guess it's nice they had time to add new random visual effects to the alakazamreact emote.
But when are they going to allow the juggling emotes to be used while Hovering?

I suppose a person could easily argue that both of these emote QoL improvements are highly questionable uses of the Devs' time and effort. But at least having versions of the juggle emotes that work while Hovering would seem a tiny tad bit more visually satisfying (if that's the right term) than the alakazamreact emote being random. Oh well.

Hovering while doing the CardTrick or ThrowConfetti emotes look so dang cool.
I'm sure juggling while Hovering would look equally nifty.

[/ QUOTE ]

Er? That should work. I'll look into why it's not.

[/ QUOTE ]
I recall sending you a list of all the emotes that do and don't work while flying. Since you never replied I just added the info to the wiki.

It appears that if you die in a completed mission (or one completed after you die) and click the exit button, it no longer makes you fall on your face outside the door. It sends you to the hospital instead. Is that new in this Issue?

I kinda like the new version. Maybe what we need is /em idle so you don't need to use a workaround to get you into the animation loop you want?

Sounds new, I kinda liked popping out of the mission on my face, since if I wanted to hit the hospital I could always punch the "go to the hospital" button.

Well, now every time I clicked to enter an AE mission, ...
I got a "You cannot enter" message... even though it then did let me in.

Oh.
I suppose those weren't the type of new things you meant.

This may not be new, and it may not be intentional, but I seem to be getting full credit for allied mob kills in missions. If I remember right we're only supposed to get partial to no XP depending on how much damage we do versus the ally mob. But in both a Mayhem and a mission in Faultline I was getting full Xp even if I didn't touch the defeated mob.

Just to address the other occurrence of this - /em none does just this. Breaks an emote or stance and returns you to the idle animation cycle.

In regular missions where the developers control the NPCs, that was always the case. Any NPC "allied" to you will act like a pet, granting you full experience for any damage it does. This is not true only in the Architect.

There's a certain amount of time that the server keeps a log of what powers you have running, so it reapplies them when you log back on. It's not very long, though - give or take 10-15 minutes or something like that. Past this time you log in with no powers active and have to retoggle.

I also noticed that there's a listed limit when writing a profile now. Hopefully that's new and I'm not just really dense.

[/ QUOTE ]

The limit was always there and always 1024 symbols, but the current/max symbols readout IS new and very, very welcome. I was SERIOUSLY tired of having to guess how much I had left and typing out lines of periods just to see if I'm within 10-20 symbols of the end. Very, very welcome, indeed, especially with line breaks coming back.
