Yeah. Hey Babs, do you think maybe we could get a list of ALL of the emotes *in* game please? Like the one we already have, but all of them. There are so many I forget about it isnt funny, and I have always wondered why all the emotes wasnt in the list that you can bring up where you can just click on them instead of having to type them in.

Think maybe, please please, huh huh?

[/ QUOTE ]

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually, you have many duplicates in there. You list 285 emotes, but there are only 206 even if you inclue "Dance" "Ledgesit" "Handsup" and "Surrender" which trigger a random one of a subset...

(I'm redoing quickchat.mnu for myself...)

[/ QUOTE ]

You made it look like you quoted me...with no list...I know that you are quoting BaBs though...still a tad funny ..And I am sure he knows that there are doubles. He just put a list of what can be used, double or no double.

[/ QUOTE ]Yep, there are a number of emotes with multiple valid commands, so of course there would be more commands listed than there are emotes.

Hey BaBs. I remember awhile ago, there was this one emote I cant seem to find.

It had a standing version and a kneeling version to it. It was kinda like research but instead of a book... I think you were welding or using some kind of item.

Did you list that and if so, which one is it?
Also, if its not, am I just out of my mind or was there once that sort of emote?

Thanks,

-Sin

The animations are Welding and Welding_Low but they are not available to players, which is a terrible pity.

Even the patch notes don't seem to have a lot of the nice little features of this issue.

Like I just did a kidnap mission, and the hostage shows up on the map as a small green arrow. Very handy.

Something that I haven't seen any comments on is the visual effect applied to characters at the end of a cutscene during the Anniversary TF. It's a screen-space effect, something that doesn't exist anywhere else in the game, which required whole new tech to make happen (and which we're already trying to figure out ways to utilize elsewhere).

Umm... sorry, BAB, not sure what you're talking about. You mean the text boxes?

Or does he mean the haze effect at the end?

Hm, I'm pretty sure there's no cutscene during the TF, but the SF has one. I think I know what thing you're referring to here, though...

SPOILERS

Are you referring to the fade to black and the little narration dialog boxes that occur during the cutscene where Reichsman is freed that tell you that you wake up inside of a 5th Column base? I thought that was a really neat effect that looked quite comic book-like. I definitely would like to see that in more locations in the game!

Of course, I could be completely mistaken since there aren't any characters actually shown during that time but that's my best guess.

I think an example of screen-space effect would be this picture where they make it look like it's an old broadcast/old tv with the noise... I could be wrong, though (couldn't find anything on WP about it, just did a random google image search).

Yes, sorry. I've never adopted the whole 'call it this on one side, but this on the other'.

I wasn't sure which side the cutscene took place on, but it's the one where you're rendered unconscious.

I didn't experience a single Cutscene on the Live Kahn TF (Heroside) when I did it the day I15 went to the Live servers. That's why I haven't commented.

I actually really love the cutscene in the SF, just makes this game more immersive

If you mean the pop-up narration box, I for one absolutely loved it and then some. -That- is what a cut scene should look like.

[edit]If you're looking for places to put that in, let me offer a suggestion: Objective completion messages in the MA.

Where you wake up and you're all woozy and the camera's out of focus? I'd recorded the cutscene using /demorecord, and unfortunately, whatever effect that was, it's not listed there. Then again, neither is the whole sepia-tone-Ouroboros thing either.

Dude, how much time do you spend playing this game that you notice a little detail like that?

J/k Babs. Now I have to go play the TF again just to see what this is, because I failed to notice this the first time through, though honestly I wasn't paying that close attention.

Ohh, that really was a cool custscene.

Kudos on that. And good job on all that hard work. Though technically wasn't this covered under the patch notes since it's a part of the SF that was mentioned in them?
