Can We Please FIX PVP

I know alot of people don't really care for pvp so this is not for them. PvP was the real reason I use to love this game. No other game really did it for me. I like the movement and different was you could.

The way you have to think fast and be on the move the whole time. Now what I have come back to is a simple rule range pvp is god. I play melee class toons and I can see where range is now very op to the point that it was broken over classes.

The suppression has done no good for us. If you attack you are suppressed. Then there is the part of teleport( which I don't use) is broken in pvp. To me you tried to make pvp so that anyone could step in and play. Never mind the people that has played for years and learned to be good. You say you try and make it so that all are happy. Well alot of us PVPers are not so happy with what you have done.

I know lots of people will say to stop crying over change and to deal with it. I have read many post and have seen some real good thoughts on how to go about and fix pvp, but it does seem that only the people making the loudest noise are getting to the dev's. Now maybe that cause we(PVPERS) have set by and let things go. You nerf us we change and deal with it. So someone comes in pvp gets beat and then gets on here and crys about it and then other cry as well how hard pvp is. Well all I can say is that I wish you would put pvp back the way it was before I13.

I can see they are happy with it, but I wonder if they have notice the drop off rate of people going into PVP Zones now. There use to be so many people in RV or SC on any given night. Now your lucky if you really can find someone that is not there only for badges. Or Gold sellers farming pill boxes.

Progress is funny at times they think things are better and really it seems to me they don't do much pvp and have no real love for it. I could be wrong thou. I just wish they would ask the people that use that part of the game more what they would like. I mean I don't think they should listen to me about TF or ITF. I wouldn't be the person to ask as I don't really do that part of the game.

No. Well, at least the way YOU want it fixed.

I think the prob is that you didnt think it was awful before - but it was. I knew many hardcore pvpers that bounced from MMO to MMO strictly for the PvP aspect that would vouch for the fact that it was one of CoX's weakest links. It prolly still is but it is improved.

I say to the devs - keep working on it.

Yup, I know for a fact that things like unique roles, less glaring imbalances, and power familiarity were just getting in the way of it being good. So glad the devs removed all the tactics and strategy from the game so we have our improved fight club.

I disagree completely.

Travel powers in combat were OVERPOWERED before, they aren't UNDERPOWERED now. I-12 PvP was a joke as the players that got a lot of kills weren't all that good, they just thought they were.

I go into RV and its always busy. I-12 PvP, I'd go into RV and it was a ghost town.

I got into Siren's Call and there are always players there. I have no idea what you are talking about.

Exactly, I totally agree. The PvP now isn't perfect, but its in a far better state than the old toggle dropping/unresistable damage/noob FOTM builds always winning regardless of skill (yes, you FOTMs were NEVER as good as you thought you were). They still need to fix the teleport issue, but other than that, a few tweaks here and there, like the end drain timer on heat exhaustion and similar powers needs a major reduction in pvp (from 40s to 4s or maybe 10s at the most),

I don't know where you play, but Freedom PvP is a ghost town now compared to what it was before. I used to go into Sirens at peak and have to turn down all my setting because there were so many orange names it was a slide show on my computer.

Not anymore.

Maybe you play on a RP server that now doesn't have any real PvPers so all the catgirls can come out and cyber in RV.

Yeah, the numbers would increase a lot, because this is how the PvErs are getting the PvP recipes...lol

Multi-posting DOESNT make u look smart:

PvP in I-12 was more balanced then it is now, maybe it did have issues, nothing like it was before.

FotM < Skill: esspecially in I12.

Rest of ur post/s are utter garbage

I'll be honest, I wasn't what you considered a hardcore PvPer, as most would call it. I never PvPed on test nor did I have any interest in the arena. I was a zone PvPer. I loved scouting all the zones looking for fun. I did this everyday I logged in and played in the PvP zones for hours on end.

With the new changes to PvP, I lost total interest in PvP all together.I hate the slow feeling of it. Don't get me wrong, before the changes PvP was great, it had a few things that needed attention, but not to the extent it was taken. A lot of people I know who were zone PvPers no longer are playing the game or no longer interested in PvP due to the changes.

I've tried to adapt to the changes, but for the most part, I still hate it now and find myself in PvP zones maybe a hour a week, until I get frustrated at how borked it is. I do love the no-toggle dropping when it comes to mezzes, this is awesome. But this one great thing doesn't account for all the bad things I don't like.
