The server does it in 35 minutes because some players are nice enough to volunteer extra time for raid"prep". Without that "prep" time the raids would be a little longer( granted not by much) so that time should be factored in as well.
Anyway? Players can definitely do a 20 minute Lady Grey ( or very close to 20 mins)without failing two missions. I'd be up for this but am rarely on anymore.

They will combine both sides to have any AT type. That would solve the issue. Thus only ones that purchase going rogue can switch sides anyway.

Ok? So does that mean that cross trading will be reenabled via base storage bins? That was in the game awhile back( not so much a feature as a bug) but players WERE able to trade crossfaction and the dev's took the ability out about 9 months ago.

If that ability comes into existance again I think it would be very beneficial and solve the whole dillemma of the market aspect of GR.

I know my post varied a bit from the original OP but the point is valid concerning GR sg//vg's. Sorry for the semithreadjack.

Neither are necessary in my opinion.

Last example:

"I don't have time to commit to a team but would like to be listed in the sub pool as a filler as needed!! My global is @Southern. Thanks much!!"

That example (or something worded like it) will put your global in the sub pool to assist with a match in the event that someones partner cannot participate in a scheduled match.

Thats how you would get on a team with someone else thats partnerless but looking to participate. Type something to the above effect to register.

I have noticed the same,DC. However my experiences with this have been in RV and I thought the difference due to the changes to disorient length in a pvp zone made pretty recently. I don't remeber which patch but it was something along the lines of " lowered mag blah blah to 4 seconds duration".

Editing to add that my observation shouldn't be carrying over to pve. I'll do some missions this afternoon and pay close attention.

that's my thought too, so back when i'd actually get in game and there would be action in rv, if i saw ppl just standing around trying to duel, i'd kill all of the villains, then alt-tab to my villain in rv and kill all of the heroes, and explain that they wouldn't of died like that if they were in the arena where duels are supposed to take place. good times, oh well.

No need for you to be on the day of the matches. Check out the below links for current leagues and their rules on other servers. All you really need do is make a signup and team roster than designate which team plays which within the duration of the league.The teams have a week to complete their matches and report results for point scores. It's nice to have a designated night for FFA's and kickballs to get more people interested. If you have one night a week or every 2 weeks then post it and also make sure and advertise word of mouth in game. The below links are for 2 current "leagues" that are upand running. Hope they help and give you ideas!

Well, to be on a different take on this, somewhat, my experience pre-i15's Dom buff was shaky except with my Plant/Psi. I'm not sure pre-i15 if I just wasn't skilled enough in my attempts to really understand Dominator's capabilities.

That being said, my Plant/Psi was a ton of fun, got her to level 26. However, I've only pulled her out a few times now and the increase on the recharge of the psi powers makes me sad. I enjoyed the shorter recharge times of the psi powers compared to the other power sets. Since the recharge times have increased, I've found myself at a somewhat loss with her. I'm happy to have an overall damage boost to the AT, but when I triggered Domination, it felt great. Quick attacks with higher damage and harder controls? She was a blast! Now, I just feel somewhat blah'd by the whole thing and wonder if I'll be able to get back into her. Might just take me time to get back to that spot.

So yes, happy in the overall spectrum of things, just saddened by the higher recharge values for Psi Assault.

Before it was used when available by myself because I couldn't stand the pew-pew low damage.

Now I actually feel like I can contend in DPS without needing to pop Domination and get tons of IO global rech.

Go PL a plant/nrg dom to the mid 30s, slot with yellow dmg SOs to mimic the lack of dmg boost, take SoC, Creepers, your pet, bonesmasher, TF, PB and fitness. Then, go run some missions. Heck, don't even pop dominatino.

When you're done, come back here and tell us how gimp it was.

Plant/anything is NOT going to be gimp. It's a great set. The control powers will overcome ANY weakness of /nrg pre-I15. ANY weakness.

So using that as a reference point for now feeling like "god" is not believable.

I want to address a couple of things here.

1. Noone was putting anyone down.
2. There are many ways to play Dominator's.

I am pretty sure some Old School dom players were simply pointing out that many people played dom's successfully before the revamp and were simply pointing out that some things in regards to sets should be commonsense for dominator players.

Dominator's are a nuance. You get theM OR YOU DON'T.Much like any other archetype in the game. The prevailing ideal these days about the revamp made dominator's God's is laughable. I play God dom's but I played God dom's before the revamp. Many other players had the same experience.



The fact of the matter is that in order to make dominator's more appealing to casual players the players that invested time and resources in GOD build are still God's with a little hitch in their stride.

We all need to get over this new vs old [censored] and get back to the way the dom boards used to operate.

Op? Are you really feeling like a God or did you just get another year of play experience before trying to tackle playinga dom? Chew on THAT thought.

Many dominator prim//sec's have a valid, contributing factor on a LRSF outside of mind//whatever. If your primary goal is sleeping the AV's than by all means do follow the advice laid out by the 2 previous posters.Please overlook all the good you could do in the other missions with a totally different primary than mind//.

Want to add the cost of perma anything has increased to about 5 bill if you dont gimp your character.

I never played a dom I felt useless on after the team buffs in whatever issue it was,Ail. NEVER.

Op? Talk to your vg mates and see what they think will be beneficial for a dom as far as team synergy. You obviously have a group you play with regularly. Ask their input. There is alot more to the RSF than sleeping the FP. If there are already 2 sleeper domi's maybe you would fill another role. There are also alot of different ways to skin a cat and sleepig the FP is just one that will net a 30 minute LRSF.

But as I told someone else recently, I regard IO's as totally optional. Because I dont have the inclination or where with all to bother with io's I don't actively pursue sets on any of my characters, nor do I spend a lot of time farming. My viewpoint is I should get something for nothing in every aspect of life or gaming therefore a bit congruent with the casual player mentality these wonderful changes were directed at!! So when I have someone (understandably) upset about the performance of their IO'd out to the gills character that did far better damage and didnt feel clunky telling me the increased damage I am obviously doing even though it was less damage than people who actually put an effort into their builds were doing prerevamp , I get cranky.

But back on topic: I love my lvl 30 dom!

If what I missed was grinding endlessly hoping against hope for that rare drop so I could finally get a permadom, I'll pass thanks. If I wanted to grind for phat lewtz I'd be playing WoW. Been there, done that, got my epic T-Shirt. In the end I hated it, which is why I came home to CoV. This game was my first MMO and is still the best to me simply because "loot" isn't the main driver of the game.

And this is my original point: I pretty much ignore the existence of IO sets. I just don't see the need for them. I don't spend huge amounts of time on my characters farming or grinding TF's. For me level 50 is the end, not the beginning. Say what you will, but IO sets truly are optional. And I opt not to participate. So for me, yeah, this change to Dom's was huge and wonderful.

But to each his own. I don't begrudge anyone their favorite playstyle, whether it be farming, PvP, PvE, Badging, whatever floats their boat. I only take issue to the doomcrying I keep seeing, and the steadfast refusal to admit that the entire leveling experience of a Dom has been vastly improved. If what had to be sacrificed was some performance at the level cap in a game that doesn't even focus on the cap, I consider that to be unfortunate but it doesn't look like it will change any time soon. So we might as well try to get along with each other.

I am really glad if the revamp makes things "easier" for new or old DOM players that had a problem with the archetype before the changes.

On the other hand I am really weary of the fanbois. Enjoy yOur playtime and have fun playing. Thats whats the game is designed to facilitate.. FUN

If you stay you can have my stuff. Good luck affording respec recipe's to get it all out though. I pretty much burnt my vet spec's every issue to accomodate Castle and his crazy idea of pvp. You'll have to buy a few per character.
