Market snags and steals for 1 inf

While busy saving everything in the multiverse, lots of goodies get dropped my way. Most of them I can't use. So I thought I'd start up some gifts to The Market.

In this thread I'll sporadically list what new Recipes and Enhancements are up for grabs at your local Consignment Market. Everything is listed for a cost of 1, so everyone from the Power Seller to the newbie's first Market venture can afford them.

Use this as you will. Flip it for a profit. Sell it back to a store for the same. Equip it on your character. Horde it for a rainy day. Frame it and hang it on your mantle. Whatever you wish!

Yes, yes, I know that means I'm selling at a loss. I'm having too much fun littering the Market with gifts to be stopped by that little detail.

Feel free to join in with news of your own gifts to the Market. The single rule is that they can only have a cost of 1 inf.

Reminder: Blue side, red side, yellow side, double-digit servers... all can join in listing here for the Market. With the i18 Market Merge anyone can bid on the listing of any other player.

You don't have to be logged into a specific zone to have access to these offers. You just have to be quick. If you try to bit on an item for a cost of 1 and it doesn't immediate let you buy, someone else got there first!

Tip: Copy/Paste the Item Name into the search box in the Market top left corner in game to quickly locate the item.

Bonus: I'll also be flooding without notice Inspirations and Salvage as Easter Eggs. So be sure to first "test bid" at 1 to see if there is an extra waiting for you.

Doesn't the highest sell price go to the lowest bid/. So selling at 1inf when there are active bids ensures that the transaction is completed instantly no matter what?

If i see something for sale with no bids on it, my first bid is always 11. Picked up 2 Posi procs that way.

I bought a Posi IO last night for 555 myself...

I remember i got lucky a while back and got a lvl 39 LoTG for 1infamy hehe, i sold it back for 100mill

And I thought snagging that level 20 Miracle for 11.5 mil was hot.

This is very common. So common, it's actually what flippers depend on to make money.

Yeah, I used to list at 119 inf but I just got too lazy.
It's neat that we can all make billions flipping or actually playing and listing for 1 inf.

Unless I'm selling crafted commons to build up a pool of funds to marketeer out of, I list everything worth less than 1M for 1. I rarely get a sale for significantly less than typical last-5 pricing, but at less than 1M, who cares if it's 3,000 or 600,000?

Might that be, (at least partially) - due to the 7 Billion and change of Inf you "destroyed" recently?

I'm kidding of course, well... kinda.

Even I'm not very so concerned about say - 3K vs. 15K,
or maybe 50K vs. 200K, or possibly even 500K vs 750k...

But, the idea that "anything under a million Inf" is somehow like anything under 10$ is just change you drop in the car console/cupholder.

I'm doing pretty well (in spite of my alt-itis), but 3K = 600K... or anything under a million isn't worth bothering with?
Uhm, I'm gonna have to go with NO on that.

Of course I don't play at lvl 50, I don't really "farm", and if I'd ignored 300K to 1M sales - (or more recently 500k to 5 Million Inf sales), I doubt I'd ever have gotten out of the "market-basement".

Although for people that sneeze at 1 Million Inf - like its negligible (or like its the 'penny tray change'), I suppose I'm still in the "market-basement" working dingy niches that, (I suppose) aren't worth other people's time?).

Inflation is steadily rising in game - and I don't think I'm the only one that isn't "poor" by any means -- but still can't begin to buy/flip/slot (or whatever) the 100 million+ Inf items.

I logged in earlier today and found a stack of common salvage that sold for 2 million - on a alt I hadn't logged in in 30 days, and several other stacks that added up to a rather decent amount of Inf...
Until I go to buy something and the bid I left a month ago on a recipe is still unfilled, & I look at the most recent sales of that recipe being 10 or 20 times what they were a month ago.

Keeping up with Inflation and the earning curve isn't nearly as easy for "everyone", I'm sure it is for some - but I can't see there being enough niches to go around literally everyone.

So while I agree that the idea/argument that "anyone can do what they or _insert name here_ does" - is valid.

But, I don't believe its possible for that to be valid for "everyone that puts in the effort", or "everyone who is willing to learn to market", or "all those who're willing to try"... at least not all/everyone at the same time.

I can't see selling anything for 1 inf - unless it's something I'm just selling for that price rather than vendor or delete it.

I suppose what I'm saying is that while the people that say "it's raining Inf" are right to an extant, but there is still a palpable sense of "class-warfare" in the game's economy.

The people for whom "anything under a million - is basically equal to 1 inf" (as Ragman seemed to suggest), and your Inf Destruction Fulmens, are (IMO) just 2 examples of that...


When I'm looking a couple 100 million or so - on my wealthier toons, and meanwhile people are posting screenshots of toons with 1-2 Billion.
It feels much the same as when I had a couple million per toon - and in the neighborhood of 10M up to maybe 25M on handful of my "marketing toons". And people were buying/selling/slotting cart-loads of 25 to 100 million Io's/Recipes and whatnot.

It still seems like the only way to catching up to the wave of inflation is going to be Leveling-up toons to 50... (well before I want to level them up - to where every roll/recipe is awarded at the max level available) and then using those 50's to grind out "X million Inf per hour" or an average of "X many Bronze/Silver/Gold/Merit Roll" per hour...

Or do whatever it is that's the most efficient method that people have stumbled on - most recently.

That's just a sad stat of affairs... I'm not saying I can't figure out what the current "best farming" method/approach is and do the same thing.
I'm just saying that I don't want to feel like I need to do that - just to catchup to the Jones, much less keep up with them.

Not exactly a 1 inf snag, but I got a crafted lvl 40 Decimation Acc/Dam/Rech last night for 6.5M - they normally go for 30-40M. That was my best market deal in quite a while. I took a screenshot but forgot to upload it anywhere.
