We're 3 weeks into an 8 week league season on Justice. If you want some free (meaning it's worth what you pay for it) advice, I'm sure some of Justice's participants would be happy to oblige.
First: If you have a relatively small PvP community, I'd go with 2v2. It'll solve population/turnout issues and make organization much easier.
Second: Plan ahead fully for the expected and the unforseen. We had one team drop out after the first week, and it caused some minor confusion. We've also had to do some on-the-fly rule making for things like serial DCs, 2 of 3s, fighting ahead of schedule, and maybe some other things I missed.
Third: Allow matches to happen at any convenient time during the week, but hold an "official" league night and provide enticements for people to hold their matches then.
And of course: Arrange the matches in Pocket D so you don't have to make any distinctions between Hero/Villain sides.

Yea, I'm sure some of my vg mates will be glad to join since we are mostly a pvp vg. I know that Dream Team has started their own pvp sg on heroes side and so they might be willing to join us. I have friends in The Devil's Own vg that enjoy pvping and I think have these pvp leagues will bring a little more pvp to guardian and you get to pvp with yours friends and people you know. If we can get a league started, the matches will take place in the arena, most likely the Pocket D arena since it seems to be the most popular. And in the arena there can be battles without interfence like the longbow and arachnos in RV.

We had an unrelated "for fun" mini-tourney the week before with an individual FFA, 5 team Battle Royal, and FFA last man standing, and I think it got some non-pvp types to join the league. I'd recommend against the Last Man Standing, as it lasted for a long time and unreasonably favored stalkers (we had one that just afked during it), but an informal tourney/event like that might bring some people in. I'm not familiar enough with your server and its culture/social structure to know for sure.
Of course if someone wants to PL me a corr or maybe a blaster and give me 500mil for a passable build ......

man virus your like a couple weeks late, all the active members of Pornstars Are Heroes Too and Pornstars Are Villains Too have cancelled their accounts and retiring from the game, but if they happen to be on and see some FFA going on you can count them in. by them i mean all my lvl 50s built for pvp.
Depending on how many people I can get to join. I'll see if I will continue to do this. One of the main problems I'll have is beijg at the matches. I will have to have someone else lead the league because I cannot promise that I will be on on the days of the matches.

No need for you to be on the day of the matches. Check out the below links for current leagues and their rules on other servers. All you really need do is make a signup and team roster than designate which team plays which within the duration of the league.The teams have a week to complete their matches and report results for point scores. It's nice to have a designated night for FFA's and kickballs to get more people interested. If you have one night a week or every 2 weeks then post it and also make sure and advertise word of mouth in game. The below links are for 2 current "leagues" that are upand running. PvP is RV is same ole same ole..Heroes outnumber villians 2 to 1 if the larger sg comes in..Cept its not TA who never trash talk to villians.
But most nights Mel its fun people 1 v 1 and behave themselves. Get along and laugh the whole time..Sinner was picking on me the other day on my stalker mean mean blaster..

I've decided to let it be a 2v2 league instead of a 3v3 or 5v5 league because our server is small and not a bunch of people pvp on this server.

If you want to host some kickballs or ffa's to try and expand the league I am happy to donate prizes. All I can donate will be redside goodies. Might as well get rid of this stuff before it poofs along with my subs. I'd rather a player enjoying the game benefit than it all just disappear.
A friend of mine was thinking of starting a 2v2 or 3v3 pvp league on guardian or maybe even a SG pvp league. I just wondering if anyone would like to join and help out.
