Starting at 7:00 AM CST - 10:00 AM CST on Thursday 4/23 all US, European, and testing shards for City of Heroes will be brought down for maintenance and publish.

We expect the downtime to last 3 hours but please allow for early release or an extension as necessary. Always check the Server Status page for complete details

I daresay there's been more patches released in the wake of I-14 than in any previous issue...and most of them seem to consist of "Yeah, y'know those mobs you used in your custom mission? Well...you can't use 'em anymore. So there." Though I am pleased to see that the mysterious base bug (never experienced it myself) got nipped in a timely fashion.

I've never heard anyone say it has been officially acknowledged as fixed. I know the had Server Maintenance Yesturday and Today to Fix it, but not that it has in fact fixed it.

I'm still scared to Edit my Base.

Well i15 would be nice. I must admit that all these patches are causing pain here in Australia. The servers are shutting down at 10:00 pm seemingly on every night I've tried to play recently.

I too get hit by the server shutdown times in New Zealand. Not planning on moving back to the USA anytime soon however

Well. the first 5-day down week since Iv'e been in-game. Wonder what THIS one is about.

Maybe they're removing the need to unlock MA content at all? since you can now score almost 2k tickets at a time from certain mishes, it's kinda pointless.

We recognize that we have been performing more maintenance periods than usual, and due to the need of the additional Thursday (April 23rd) down-time, we have canceled the Friday, April 24th maintenance.

Yeah, this is definitely different. They normally release larger patches every week or two after an issue goes live. They also have quite a bit longer to sit on the Test server.

hows about going out and reading the patch notes for 4/20/2009? Perhaps that will clarify whether the bases have been fixed or not. =)

Should have been a GMotD update, just like with the alert to not edit bases or make changes to storage. Patch Notes the last few months have been slow in being updated. I've stopped looking for them when I log into a new patch as a result.

I started gardening the other day. Just herb gardening though. I planted some Cilantro, Sage, Basil, Greek Oregano and a few Mint plants. They're nice.

Ah well...I guess I'll go water my plants.

Here's hoping this patch fixes some of the broken things* instead of just more tweaks to the MA.

*-like the chatbind bug, inability to set teammates' missions, disappearing capes, and improperly displaying shields that immediately come to mind.

And as to base issues none of us are using base till the official word is out about it being fixed....
Then we will let the boss man try first this way we can all blame him lol
PSSSSTTTTTT...............You may want to try opening up now there is a pretty big patch you will need to download B4 getting back into game in what 3 hours
